Advent Calendar 06:Mini Brands! and Figures Toy Company stuff

 

Searching for THE ULTIMATE ULTIMATES! PROPS, has led me to Mini Brands! Yes, I'm aware that for the most part, some of the props made by this company are meant to be for Barbie dolls and other 1/6 scale figures/dolls.

I've seen on YouTube. Various videos reviewing these and they have some items at work with 1/10 scale. Figures saw as NECA or Super7. They were 33% off at Walgreens so so I took a plunge... and now I have Two balls. I'd make a Dandadan reference but the balls are white.

And here we go:

Ball 1:

Huge ass cans of Fanta and Chunky soup. Don't have any use for them.

Pringles can Barely passes

Jelly Belly bag passes

Pepperridge Farm Cake box barely passes. Disappointed that it didn't have a Cake.

Ball 2:

Post it box passes, but I ain't using that.

Bubblegum a bit too big, but I'll  call it family sized.

Sprite bottle can pass of as a 1.75L bottle.

Pepperidge Farm cookies and crackers barely pass.

Weird ass un-American money, is meh.

Too much cardboard and paper to my tastes. 

NOT GONNA BOTHER CHASING ANYMORE MINI BRANDS! This statement was a lie. Bought more MiniBrands after this review was written (Late 2024 and early 2025). I bought some of the Foodie items on eBay... mainly Pizza Hut Pizza.

Now for the Figures Toy Company accessories.

I got some Mice because they were supposed to be smaller than rats.

That Mouse is Ginormous! But If I get a couple of these, I can have a "rat" army for the Rat King. But seriously, Super7,  we need a Rat army building accessory pack.

You want to make your Rat King more Mirage-like...

The barbed wire can be slipped off!

Now you're thinking, Casey Jones needs more weapons. FTC got you covered.

A tennis racket with a cover to protect the mesh.

I could've sworn the Pic they had back when I ordered it had sculpted mesh. But whatever. Now Casey has another weapon for the bag.

The handle for the bucket came broken. But most of those buckets rarely keep their handles IRL. I'm repainting the mop. Because it looks like crap and needs fixing. 

a combination of beige and brown added some murky translucency to blend in the cartoony dirt. I made sure the bottom was the dirtier part. 

Update:

I got a few presents at work, Christmas party... They know I'm  a Toy Guy, so more Mini Brands stuff... received 4 Balls. Two are Mini Brands by Zuru, the other two are MGA's Miniverse.

Maybe the stickers can be useful for douche room decoration.

The Zuru Mini Brands is still bad. The Sneaker set works for 1:6, so not for me. Don't look at a Gift horse in mouth and all that.

Shaving cream might be usable.

The other set has repeats and useless stuff.

The MGA stuff is better, but requires sunlight or UV lamps and I'm short of both... Spike! Play Evan and Katelyn's Resin time song! Whaddya mean there's no clip! Zoardammit!

This one made me cry, because bagels with smoked salmon, and cream cheese sandwiches was Mom's favorite sandwich  You have no idea how many of these I've prepared back when I wasn't an orphan.

The next set even has a table. It's a salad.

The table works as a coffee table though.

MGA's where it's at.

Update:

I had dropped a third MGA ball in the trunk. Now I haz Pregger's pickles.

I saved a few slices of cucumber for the Figures to eat... since the "vinegar" is UV Resin.

Hopefully the Resin will level before Sunrise.

Tip: if you want the jar to open, DO NOT CLOSE
LID BEFORE LETTING THE RESIN CURE. Taking
Pictures of the jar sideways doesn't help.

I almost forgot about the sandwiches! Here they are al resined out. 

Updating the Update:

I got WAY TOO many of these MGA Miniverse food items throughout 2025 before the Tariffs. Got a few repeats and began mix and matching to make different stuff. Now for 2026, I might get an UV light so I don't have to relying on Mr. Sun for setting the items. Sadly, I haven't gotten a second salmon bagel, or a cheeseburger. But I got way too many pregnancy craving pickles.
