Mattel has caved in to SJWs...

As seen with the new upcoming Barbies.
Normal Barbie will not vanish, so there is still some hope.
Of course they had to use the Traditional White and Blonde Barbie, which in a way should enrage the rainbow dyed Tumblerinas. You know the ones...

Now we have Short Barbie... I mean petite. So is this basically a Barbie Torso with Skipper Limbs?

Then we have a Tall Barbie... Insert a Venti joke somewhere here. There's not much I can say about a Taller Barbie, except that those clothes make her look off. I guess that's a Tall people problem.

Last but not least, we have FAT Barbie. This is where the Bloated Tumblrinas are basically getting moist. A Barbie that almost represents them. She even has the unnatural hair color. But she is still problematic. This Barbie still adheres to the Evil cis Gender Binary and insert a bunch of asstarded Tumblr buzzwords to feel oppressed and stuff.
Of course the Third Wavers are complaining that she is not fat enough and the usual crap. Besides, all of these perpetual whiners ARE NOT GOING TO BUY THE DOLL ANYWAY. Not to mention that kids DON'T WANT the FAT BARBIE. Unless this Barbie is as slim as Ken, she will NOT FIT on Most of Barbie's playsets and vehicles.

Where's the proof?
Mattel tested the curvy Barbie with young girls to see their reaction, reported Time. Without adults in the room, the girls were quite free with their play. One young one expressed her view with a song.
“Hello, I’m a fat person, fat, fat, fat.”
So, let's see. young Girls making fun of the Fat Barbie...

However, when an adult was in the room, none of the girls would use the word fat. They would use the word chubbier or spell out the word fat. This has changed over the last couple of years, likely due to the anti-bullying efforts put in place by the school systems.
“I don’t want to hurt her feelings,” one little one said.
So, the kids are not really interested in Barbie and seem to be "Forced" to like her by the Adults...
However, the girls are not quite as excited and accepting of the curvy Barbie as their moms. Tania Missad is in charge of the girl’s portfolio research team for Mattel.
See? That's what I mean! The whole "Barbie gives girls Body issues" stem more from Insecure Adults than the kids themselves!
“We see it a lot. The adult leaves the room and they undress the curvy Barbie and snicker a little bit. For me, it’s these moments where it just really sets in how important it is we do this. Over time I would love it if a girl wouldn’t snicker and just think of it as another beautiful doll.”
So basically, Missad is trying to force girls to accept unhealthy lifestyles as normal. Here comes the part that the Tumblrinas try to go Ace Attorney on me and mention the "Unhealthy proportions" of Normal Barbie. Then this is the part that I point out, Barbie's "unnatural proportions" are on purpose in order for the clothes to fit and that she looks somewhat Normal when wearing them. Remember that the cloth items are made from cloth that is meant to be used for OUR Clothing. So, an upscaled to 1:1 Barbie T-shirt would be several inches thick. But back to the "unhealthy proportions and fat acceptance."  FAT IS UNHEALTHY, I should know because I AM FAT! Yes, more people are fat, some have medical conditions that contribute to their added weight, but more often than not is a Sedentary lifestyle (sitting around writing a blog about playing videogames, watching movies and collecting action figures, and sitting around playing videogames and watching movies) not to mention bad food habits, lack of exercise... FAT is NOT Beautiful, so stop trying to make it beautiful.

But wait, there's more:

The moms in Mattel’s focus groups widely supported adding diversity in body and color to the dolls. Body image is very important to moms, no matter what socio-economic group or region they were in. The beauty standards their children are exposed to is of high concern to all the moms in focus groups across America.
All these issues about Barbie come from overprotective mothers who are coddling the hell out of their kids...

In fact, the change in body type was the number one requested feature from them. Added to that was more modest clothing, less makeup and joints that moved.
I only agree with more Articulation. But did you notice something: It's THE MOTHERS that want to take Barbie Down to "average" almost as if THEY HAD FORGOTTEN what Barbie was all about. The FASHION, GLAMOUR, THE MANSION, THE JET, THE CONVERTIBLE, etc. Barbie is NOT about Social Justice.
When asked, the moms said that they would be more likely to buy more Barbie dolls based on the new bodies. Some of the mothers wished the curvy Barbie doll actually had more curves. Time reported one mother’s comments.
“I wish that she were curvier. There are shapes that are curvier and still are beautiful. My daughter definitely has curves, and I would want to give her a doll like that. It’s a start, I guess.”
See? This is all part of making Fat the new normal, which is wrong.

But let's see if anyone notices WHAT is Absent here?
Where is Fat Ken? Short Ken? Abe Lincoln tall and Lanky Ken? Notice that the only Ken available is Hunk Ken?

Sure, they'll play this off as "Ken is never as popular as Barbie" BS.

On a different note, I can't believe that Mattel actually did this, seeing how much they whine about Tooling Budget and China botching things up.
