I did NECA and Super7. Doing Playmates is inevitable...
Do you smell a list involving Regurgitating Vintage Figures? Well, you should...
For the most part. There will be some alterations to that plan:
Let's begin with a "New Item"
2012 M.O.U.S.E.R. Ooze Canister?
My Bucket of Mousers, but using the 2012 ones, who are IN- Scale with the vintage figures. Pop a bunch of them inside a life size Ooze Canister display and you have a winner.
Karai:
I know Playmates never made a vintage Karai. But They COULD pop Princess Mitsu's arms on a Ninja Newscaster April and make a slip-on cloth piece and a new plastic belt to hold it in place to make a Mirage Karai. She could use the accessories from Mitsu, Shogun April, or Movie 3 April.
Mirage Boxset 2:
Boxset 1 had Splinter, Shredder and the Turtles. Well, here's my suggested set 2:
Casey Jones
April O'Neil (using the 1992 April body)
Rat King (slight repaint of the vintage figure)
2 Foot Soldiers (repainted in mirage inspired colors and with Shredder weapons)
2003 series Utrom. (Yes, I'm aware that 2003 figures are taller than vintage, but if Shredder could stand normally he'd be 2003 line tall.
Mirage boxset 3:
The 2003 Turtles in Mirage colors. (Red headbands, brown everything else.)
A reissue of the 2003 Fugitoid
A comic book repaint of the 2003 Triceraton Warrior.
Mirage Shredder Clones 3 or 4 pack:
SHREDDER CLONE (repaint of the Boxset 1 shredder)
Four armed Shredder clone (2003 figure in Mirage colors)
Claw Shredder Clone (2003 Figure in Mirage colors)
New Mini Shredder 2003 styled but in Mirage colors.
Some people might argue that "I'm cheating" by adding 2003 stuff, but I'd say that 2003 was a love-letter to Mirage than vintage ever was. 2012 was a bit TOO stylized to use... Mousers being the sole exception. The idea here is to Honor Mirage Turtles...
