While Super7 hasn't announced Tokka and Rhazar yet, we can ponder the obvious: What will they do? We know that Playmates repurposing Slash to make Tokka is the most obvious course of action, due to Super7stronglyadhering to the vintage line. That means that he would also get Slash's accessories in Black.
Rahzar would get his toy accessories, the Spider Grappling Hook, the Skull mace, and the tombstone shield. Honestly, it would be nice to get those in realistic colors and a toy color extra set on the tree.
Since Articulated mouths are pobably out of the game, I hope each gets an extra head, along the standard hands. In Rahzar's case we have the Red Nose variant issue: we might get a second useless head with the red nose.
NECA has already done movie versions and they're doing cartoon versions as well. Theoretically once they make cartoon versions, they can make Turtles in Time versions.
This puts Super7 at a disadvantage, since NECA will have all the advantages of original accessories for them. The movie stuff was covered with the movie figures... not gonna lie, I'd like to get the Big Hubcap shield for Rahzar in addition to the pipe and the post for Tokka. Maybe a fire Extinguisher and the donuts as a nod to the movie, but that's too close to the NECA version. What can Super7 bring to the table to make these accessory-light figures better?
There aren't any mini characters like Joe Eyeball for them... so they can add stuff to them... but then again, Mutagen Man only got hands aside his "sinkers and floaters". Even Rocksteady and Bebop were shortchanged in accessories. So what can we do?
Non-Mutated versions could be a thing... We are 99.937% unlikely of getting Mutatin versions. Also, unlike Rocksteady, Bebop, or Leatherhead whose animals are big (and their premutated forms might be humans) Tokka and Rahzar are a snapping turtle and a wolf pup.
That could be an Accessory that can put each figure on a different level from NECA.
Theoretically speaking Here's what I believe could make an optimal Tokka and Rahzar:
Tokka:
-Repaint of Slash's main weapons.
-Extra head different expression
-Extra hands (open, fist, vertical hinged gripping)
-wood piece
-Fire Extinguisher
-pre-mutation Snapping Turtle
-donut box with donuts
-weapon rack
Rahzar:
-fully painted toy weapons
-extra red nose repainted head.
-extra hands(open, fist, vertical hinge)
-weapon rack
-Hubcap shield
-pipe
-Retromutagen Donut
-Wolf pup
The questions are What will they do and when will they do them?
