Whether Eternia or Engines of Vengeance win, we all lose

The following pic was taken this morning on OCTOBER 13. Haslab has lost 3 followers in roughly 30 hours. I know it's not a big number, but every order canceled pushes the goal further away...

While it's a good thing that customers are waking up to the ludicrous nonsense that is these overpriced crowdfunded blights in our hobby, I'm willing to bet that some people will

put a negative spin to the consumer base getting fed up by Multibillion companies putting the onus on us, the customers to make their products for us to buy. 

But what's the point in rebelling against Hasbro's bullshit, when y'all buy int Mattel's overpriced bullshit!?

Supporting the $600 playset, shipping, plus surcharge in the US and going close to $1000 in Europe is just as wrong as supporting the $350 car that should've been under $100.

Y'all supporting Eternia are going to make Snake Mountain be close to $321... or probably higher.

Without using the tale of my Mom as a reason/excuse; yes, I bought MOTUC Snake Mountain. Yes, it was expensive as fuck and to an extent mildly overpriced, BUT the MOTUC Line was a limited online line that ended up being in the hands of a third party. Origins is a MASS RETAIL LINE!! If the line is hitting Walmart, Target, and other retailers, why do WE, the customers have to essentially foot the bill for these Multibillion corporations? They have the money, maybe they should take the risk and foot the bill themselves. These are Hasbro and Mattel, the 2 biggest toymakers after LEGO. THIS ISN'T SOME MOM AND POP Company like Ramen Toys or Valaverse. Hell even McFarlane is too big for the crowdfunding bullshit. (Sure, McFarlane is smaller than Hasbro or Mattel, but is big enough to have the DC Universe as a toyline. That means he's in the big leagues too.)

But other corporate shills lretending to be fans  will spin this as being the average customers fault, because if we don't support everything the Multibillion corporations throw at us they'll "kill teh lien". Sadly, it's a real possibility that the Multibillion companies will throw a tantrum and kill the lines if they can't sell their overpriced stuff. So you think that supporting this thing will not mean that they'll try it again and again until you reach the point where you either can't afford it or say that's enough! Because I can see an Eternos Palace becoming the next overpriced Playset quite easily. 

Marvel Legends were under $10 and they had a diorama piece and a comic book. The BaF replaced the comic book and they were big...

The BaF shrank, we lost the comic and a lot of unique sculpts. We then lost the clamshell packaging and now the figures come in cardboard and wax paper and they're creeping way too close to $30. Inflation calculator says that a 2002 Marvel Legends should cost $16.46... yet they're on the $28+ range... WE LET THAT HAPPEN... and by the way things are going, we'll end up paying Super7 prices for MOTUC Origins if we let Mattel go crazy with their price gouging. The same applies to Hasbro who is reaching Super7's cheaper preultimates prices...

I wish these companies would realize that bleeding their customers dry is not beneficial for them. But if toylines have to die for them to figure that out, then so be it. I wish they didn't but, if the companies don't adjust their greed, they will lose.
