It seems that Aquaman 2 and The Flash are the last 2 movies tied to the awful and getting deader by the minute, Snyderverse. Now Wonder Woman 3 has been axed. Honestly, it makes sense to scrub away the Snyderverse and start anew. Like I said a while back, the 10 year plan should involve a new cast and starting from scratch, since the current players are reaching the tail end of their youthful looks.
Amy Adams is almost 50 right now. By the time the plan starts, she'll be over 50 years old. By the time it ends, she could be eligible for Social Security benefits. Affleck most definitely will be eligible... If he were to stick around 10 years playing Batman... which he probably won't due to his work with his new production company. Also, seeing that Black Adam didn't do that great at the cinema, I could see The Scorpion King running away from DC.
It's a shame that DC was never able to properly build a cinematic universe. Between executives meddling too much to get to Avengers money too fast, Zack Snyder's incompetence at telling a coherent story that RESPECTS the characters, Walter Hamada for not pulling the plug on the already brain dead Snyderverse and prolonging its suffering. Hopefully Gunn will steer the ship towards good DC movies and a coherent and cohesive universe.
