Amazon already has preorders for physical copies of MOTU

 I pre-ordered the DVD, because fuck it I NEED it in my life.

MOTU movie post view thoughts

 After letting my brain marinate over 12 hours of seeing the new MOTU movie here are a few of my thoughts:

My Mom would've been a bit more pissed off than me about it... the few Highlander references would've definitely rubbed her the wrong way.

I didn't like how Randor was portrayed storywise.

Loved the Dolph Lundgren Cameo.

Hated how Mossman was used.

Hated how well Jared Leto played Skeletor... 

Hated Post Credits Scene 1... because we had said character as a post credits scene character.

Loved that the Adam and He-Man dynamic exists in this universe... even if it's a subversion of the trope...

I've seen a few "reviews" criticizing the movie for being a "cash grab to sell toys". How dare a movie based on a toyline try to sell toys!? Amazon better make physical copies. 

Amazon and Fiber optics: Odds and ends

 I bought a Shoto Todoroki Total Anime... Amazon was selling one for $19. + taxes "Used Mint"

Plus figure was blasted with Superglue making the leg useless.

Now I have to print labels which are a hassle. AND PAY POSTAGE plus any other surprise charges... worst part is that this wasn't a third party seller it was AMAZON themselves! Amazon is worse than third party sellers.

Fiber Optic internet is amazing until the fiber optic cable decides to die for no reason... you can't fix it... because the wires aren't, exactly easy to obtain. So the technician had to come home to literally switch a cable... less than a freakong minute.

. He is infamous force socking, and when you beat an opponent using Dan, you're just basically humiliating the opponent and showing off your skills.

Articulation

Dan for the most part has the same articulation as Jada toys figures. With the addition of a toll hinge and extra drop down hip articulation... He cannot do the role for the supertaunt, but he can do most of his moves. Sadly, he lacks the hands for the super taunt.

News on Biker Mice from Mars wave 2

 According to Nacelle Toys' own website, these have been delayed to Q4 2026. Toy delays suck. These were pre-ordered exactly one year ago about 16-17 hours from the writing of the rant.

FFT: Ivalice chronicles: a Rant

 I love it and I Hate it. I'm\n Currently, playing it on the enhanced edition. Because it's the one with the new features, but the new features mostly suck ass. I hate the menus. The autosave is a double-edged sword. It's a shame that is the original game minus the best tricks of the original game.

Goodbye duplication, Goodbye, the job point, skip. Hello, endless hours of grinding, just to beat the stupid dorter battle. The enhancements aren't that great, but to play the game on a screen that I don't need to use glasses. It's a great thing. I hate getting old. I need to see how hard that battle will be. I really hate that they use the war of the Lions, English even in the original game.

But I hope this soulless cashgrab makes for the FFTA games to get ported.

 Sunday release: about 18 for the figures and vehicles more expensive. They look OK, but are a smidge too expensive for toys that are their own scale, which puts them away from most displays.

Miniverse Harry Potter: Thoughts

 I got some Miniverse Harry Potter, because there were no more food items.

I will talk about the sets with Resin. The Marauders Map came with one Set, the Harry Potter themed set.

It comes with a book I suppose it belonged to Snape and glasses that fit movie Don.

A wand that you make out of resin. This resin seems to be a bit more forgiving and not As brittle as the one in The Lord of the Rings sets...

The only real problem is the delivery system. As even in tropical climates, the resin is a little bit of a pain in the ass to get out, my one end up being slightly a bit too short, but it is what it is.

I got 4 balls. This is the Harry ball. The second ball is the nimbus 2000 ball. I have not assembled the other balls because they don't involve resin and one of them is a Mandragora plant that's just using the kinetic stand type stuff , and I don't like messing with that stuff. The other is a book mimic type thing that I just need to assemble the monster parts and the book it uses a lot of glue and stuff so I haven't had time to work with it.

It comes with Slime... a bit over 12 inches apparently, so MOTUC can uae it.

It does not come with plastic faux slime for adult collectors. Kinda wish Mattel would give a better heads up for these though.

TMNT Accessory packs: Don't sleep on this Mattel...

 Let's be honest here. Mattel is stingy with accessories. So, accessory packs are the solution:

They used to do them with He-Man, WWE, Big Jim, Barbie... you get the idea. Well they still do with Barbie. So... 

Accessory packs. We can start with the obvious stuff:

Generic ninja weaponry that can be used by turtles and foot.

Recolors of the Turtle weapons. That's 7 easy items. Add multiple kunai and shuriken. Now we have 15 items for the most basic pack.

We can have a Pizza pack with various pizza slices that form whole pizzas, whole pizzas, half pizzas, various pizza boxes (made of plastic or cardboard) bitten slices. (Obviously for Mikey)

Junk-tech pack: 

Basically gimmicky gadgets and weapons made by Donatello. Spare Turtle communicators would be here. The Cheapskate (not the gigantic Playmates abomination, but a normal sized skateboard with a small engine)

4 sets minimum per customer guaranteed purchase just to have cheapskates for the 4 turtles.

Foot Armory:

If they go with the robotic foot soldiers, the earlier generic ninja weapons pack helps, but this gives us extra weapons from Dimension X  to use. Generic blasters, high tech ninja weapons to distinguish the foot from the turtles weaponry... evil communicators... etc. 

Mousers:

Playmates did it, NECA did it, Super7 did it...

It's obvious... also Roadkill Rodneys are a popular pack idea.

There are plenty of packs that can be made, like a premutation animal pack with said animals and ooze. A sewer marauder pack including stuff for Rat King (namely rats) and other sewer dwellers like Muckman...  the point is that Mattwl should look into it.

It's a shame the line died before Shipwreck... I've had issues mostly with Lady Jaye... but Duke is one of the better figures from the line. So Duke gets a 4.67 as his final score. 

Roger Sweet has died... BONG!! May 2, odds and ends

 He is one of the folks who claims created He-Man. The guy who yelled BONG!! in The toys that made us...  He was behind what we now know as Vykron. Though Mark Taylor was the one who did the whole concept of the characters... Sweet pitched the toy and Stan Lee'd his way as "creator of He-Man", while Mark Taylor got the Jack Kirby treatment.

Well, he dead... dementia side effects. My condolences to the family, ESPECIALLY since they had to deal with Dementia. I may not like the guy and his Stan Lee vibe...

Making Vulvana: a TMNT custom rant

 Pizzaface Jr has gotten me thinking that I can customize. Sewing soft goods resculpting 40% of a head amputating figures and giving them action features. 

I got thinking what character could I make that I know it won't get made by Mattel, or anyone else tackling TMNT? The only 2 answers I could come up with were Hitler and Vulvana. By the title alone, you already guessed who I am making. I can just borrow a Super7 figure to make Hitler.

Vulvana is a challenge. Technically I'd need a 1/6 red female body. To be closer to canonical height... but they don't make those... and with $18 bucks in my pocket... and feeling lazy as fuck, I went to my usual body parts supplier.

Figures Toy Company... i may be taking a gamble here because some of their older stuff doesn't have the better quality that the new work product has... but $18 for this:

All I'll need is to either locate 2 horns or sculpt them, get some thin gold or yellow ribbon and Bob's your uncle.

It's MEGO sized, which puts her slightly taller than ultimates but  lose to proper scale for the Origins scale for Mattel.

The real question is: should I sculpt nipples and Vulva for Vulvana?

You'd expect putting Doctor Doofenshmirtz through the FunkoPop!inator would make him look like a Funko POP!
