Revisiting Rat King: An Ultimates rant

 While we wait for Wave 11 to ship, I found a cute Pic of the TMNT Valentine cards involving Rat King:

The Blue Coloring is not the reason. It's useful, but not it. The Toon/Mirage hybrid head is helpful but not the motivator. It'ssomething the Playmatesfigure did not have. The Toon Bandolier is A better motivator. Can you say Variant and not Redeco? Here we have an excuse to use the canceled Wave 10 Body... or at least the Torso.  So now we have a "variant" Rat King Body now the important part is the soda can Bandolier. We now have an excuse to have it. This is something the Playmates figure did not have. And that's important because we need to trade things that Playmates had for things they didn't have in order to get things they had, but had to be sacrificed to appease Playmates.

Sounds complicated, but it's not. I'm trading bodyparts in order to get a Crossbow and a NEW Snake belt for him. The Belt and Crossbow won't be Vintage ACCURATE. They will be INSPIRED by it though... to Appease Playmates.

Before we talk the figure itself, let's talk the accessories:

Pop Bandolier:

Dark Grey bandolier with 3 Soda Cans preferably removable. Cans should be ersatz of Pepsi, Coke, and RC 80s cans.

Crossbow:

A Deer hunting Crossbow in Brown, Dark Greens and blues. (To fit both Rat Kings)

Now each Bow requires Arrows. Lazy solution would be reuse the existing Arrows. Also, since it's a Crossbow, it doesn't need to be functional. It should still require real string though.

The Crossbow should have a place where the Nock on the Arrows "clip to" and a small recess to "plug" a feather for display purposes.

Special Arrow:

One of the arrows should have a rat clinging to it. Nod to Antman and a modified reference to the Vintage figure.

Snake belt:

Instead of the Vintage rattler, this new Snake should be a Python... to be different. Add the same stuff as the vintage belt, but a Quiver instead of the cat. If Super7 plays it smart, they could make the belt so the W11 Cat thing can be slipped on the quiver area and boom! "Closet to Vintage belt.

Loose Rats from canceled w10 figure:

Nothing much to say here.

Now unto the figure itself:

Heads:

-New Head combining the Pretty Boy face with the Vintage hairdo. 

-New Vintage head with the Pretty Boy hairdo.

-New Valentine card head.

The idea is to give something "different" all heads have the Green Bandages on the head (to swap with the older Rat King) Also. It's a way to have a sculpt that can tell a story. Both head styles are a transition to the third head.

Body:

As stated, using the arms and legs from the w11 RK with the canceled w10 torso. Now for the coloring, torso and arms should be a faded Navy blue the legs should be a faded purplish blue. (Works as a nod to Tournament Fighters.)

Arm bandages should be white. Leg bandages should be grey. The Neck piece should be green to match the previous RK. The stitches should be black as a nod to the canceled w10 RK.

I wonder if we can get a footski from Playmates.
