Y'all let He-Man land in development Hell yet again, but y'all are working on a fucking UNO Movie!? A comedy Heist movie based on the Underground Hip Hop Scene in Atlanta!? What the actual fuck does that have to do with UNO!? Also, Lil' Yatchy is starring... pardon my Hip Hop ignorance here, but who the fuck is Lil Yatchy!? All I got is Atlanta mumbler with colored braids... and had a cameo in Teen Titans Go!
Wow... so a card game is now a heist movie before anyone mentions High stakes Children's card game is already a thing, hear me out!
The card game based on Duel Monsters from the manga Yu-Gi-Oh! Wasn't originally intended to be a game. It became an actual game AFTER the manga arc. Eventually, the game took a life of its own and the manga became a tool to promote the game.
The whole save the world from evil magical threat surrounding the Children's Card game works with Yu-Gi-Oh! Due to the "occult themes" permeating the manga. There is no "UNO Lore" that can justify high stakes anything!With Clue, you have the crime that you have to solve. With Battleship, you have the naval combat premise. Even Monopoly has a bit of a premise with becoming the big boss of Atlantic city in order to gain access to the Pennybags fortune. You CAN make a movie about Mousetrap with a life size version of the game's trap being part of the third act. You can't pull that off with UNO.
