While I'm not MOTU Oranges biggest fan. You might say I'm a "hater" of that line, but I'm glad it's going well beyond 2023 just to piss off a fear monger who shall not be named. So Scott, you can calm down. I'm totally not talking about you here.
Now that we got over the whole Suck it, Neitlich! Let's talk Origins:
It and Masterverse are still going strong at Mattel. According to BBTS, the New Eternia Faker will be reaching their warehouse soon and the lines will continue after 2023. The biggest news tidbits and rumors come from Origins.
Apparently, Origins will now lean more towards
Yes, Filmation... you know what that means? We could get a Queen Marlena, we could get a red lizard Clawful, but I'd be more interested in the possibility of Bow, Glimmer, Shadow Weaver, and others in Origins... a MOTUO Granamyr Origins figure would be interesting. We will still get vintage styled figures but there would be reissues as well. Allegedly the first 2 reissues are Merman and She-Ra. But that's not the main topic...Supposedly there's a new Masters of the Universe line coming. It's meant to be based on a comic book crossover that did not happen. We KNOW that there was a Thundercats crossover and an Injustice crossover... but the cancelled crossover was:
MOTUxTMNT crossover...
If this rumor is true there would be TMNT figures compatible with Origins. I don't know if the turtles would have their traditional looks or if they would be made more Masters of the Universe-like, as seen with the MOTWWEU figures. Personally I'm hoping for both. First the traditional versions just to have traditional operations of TMNT compatible with Masters of the Universe. Also I'd like to see the MOTU-ized TURTLES because I want a Cam Clarke Reference toy...

But this crossover could be something else like say: MOTU×Thundarr or whatever.
In any case, despite Neitlich's lies and fear mongering, MOTU is still going strong. But seriously, that Cam Clarke Reference toy would be so awesome!!
