Now that we got Giorgio Tsoukalos Ancient Aliens reference out of the way, let's talk... let me hold my invisible watermelon... Aliens!

I own a Lanard Xenomorph Warrior. It was $10 at Walmart. Much cheaper than the $36 alternative by NECA.

Articulation:

The articulation is pretty basic... About the same as MOTUC, but with no ankle hinge.

While it can't do a Hero landing pose, it can be put in something more than vanilla standing pose.

Paint and sculpt:

Before I sloppily drybrushed the colorshift black paint, the figure is molded in metallic blue plastic with some green accents. The camera can still pick up these accents. I chose to paint him in color shift black, because Xenos are usually black, blueish black, or bronze. The paint I used shifts from metallic black to a faded gold, which kinda runs through the entire xeno palette. Sometimes it looks blueish, sometimes black, and sometimes in a weird kinda golden. Depends on light angle.

Before repaint: 4.0 After repaint 4.5

Accessories:

Face Hugger sealed in containment jar.

The jar can be opened and the hugger removed. While not perfect it can be put on faces of other figures.

Overall:

The Xeno fluctuates between a 4.17 and a 4.33 as his final score. Sure, the NECA figures are superior, but if you need a diorama swarming with Xenomorphs, these guys once repainted can serve as the perfect fodder for the background with the NECA figures in the foreground. You can get 12 of these for the same price as 4 NECA Xenos. These are great for army building... or foor making Pizza Monsters without breaking the Wallet...
