What does that even mean? According to Square-Enix, a remake of VI would take double the time of VII, if made like FFVIIR. So, I don't want a remake like that. I want something closer to a remaster...
I'm talking building the game in 3D with prerendered backgrounds like 7,8, and 9 and have the characters with graphics similar to the HD remasters of 8 and 9, but for FFVI. Add tons of FMVs. For example, Celes singing would be an FMV. Personally I would add one for the end of the Ghost Train battle, where our boy Sabin/Mash suplexes the Ghost Train. They already have the cutscenes from FF Anthology as a starting reference.
The idea is to deliver a "What if Final Fantasy VI had been released in 2002" and save the Kingdom Hearts Bullshit styled remakes for games that deserve it (FINAL FANTASY VIII I HAVE MY EYES ON YOU...)
Everything before 7 should be remade in the style of OG 7,8,9 Remasters but with added cutscenes like Anthology. To be honest, only 8 deserves the Nomura remake treatment. Especially since a lot of stuff was left on the cutting floor.
Also, I bought FFVII Rebirth online but it hasn't arrived. Having the game is a motivator to start saving for a PS5... and a PS6 for the conclusion...
Heh... anothe console I'll buy because of Final Fantasy VII...
