I am in no way disparaging the work of Figures Toy Company on their Merch stand Playset.
I just think it could use some improvements. Mainly replacing the 2D backdrop to a 3D backdrop...
The rack where the shirts and items are hanging is a picture...
I believe a Rack 2.0 can be made. A 3D rack that is PARTIALLY customizable. And FTC CAN sell accessories to use.
Like they already sell belts, so Rack 2.0 can come with belt holders that would connect to a solid backboard with the grid rack. (Belts sold separately) Maybe come with the FTCW Championship belt to have a belt on display.
They could make soft goods shirts with hangers to use for the display. (Sold separately) and have the Rack 2.0 come with a pair of molded plastic shirts on the hanger.... and a few hangers for soft goods shirts and tops.
The masks wouldn't need to be wearable. Just sculpted plastic pieces. Then they could also sell blank masks that you can customize with permanent marker or paint.
Micro figures:
Have a few "MOC" figures that can't be taken out of the package and a few loose ones. Other "customizable" loose figures can be sold on the site.
The same principle would apply to the stuffed toys. Make a few generic bucks... Masked wrestler bald wrestler long haired wrestler, female wrestler then sell them for customs.
Now here come new accessories to expand the playset. Since the now the 3d rack and accessories would add weight to the front of the rack. We need to stabilize it. Here we have to options:
A Permanent Merchant kiosk with actual scaled showcases and merch storage. We can add a till with cash register for the permanent style.
A temporary one for when the merchant stand is placed outside permanent fixtures or the venue doesn't have kiosk spaces. A cluttered bunch of storage crates and cardboard boxes.
The idea is that it widens the floor surface are to keep it balanced.
I WOULD ALSO ADD:
Magazine racks and boxes. These can be repurposed and redeco as comic book racks and boxes.
