Top ideas for the NECA "What If 1990 TMNT had used these toy characters?"

 Disclaimer, this list isn't DEMANDING the characters to be made (specifically the humans, since it would involve getting likeness rights of actors for roles they didn't play). This is more of a thought exercise. But NECA should pay attention to the monstrous Mutants.

Irma:

1990 Jennifer Grey dressed as Irma. Combining elements of the Playmates toy with the toon palette would be the way to go.

Burne:

Jeffrey Jones. I know, I know, but you can't tell.me that late 80s Jones isn't the spitting image of Burne.

Vernon:

Before I mention my idea, I KNOW this actor was the inspiration for a different character, but without further ado.

Yup, Jeff Goldblum. Picking him as Baxter would be typecastong him as Brundle. Besides I want to go the Mirage route for pre-fly Baxter.

Human Baxter Stockman:

Of course this would've been a bit shocking since Bill usually played nice guys. But the few villain roles he played were outstanding.

Rat King:

Lazy answer would be Schwarzenegger, but he's too big. So let's take an 80s mid-card wrestler that resembled Rat King: Brad Armstrong. Dress him like.a deranged honor and there's your Rat King.

Pizzaface:

Pizzaface would be a mutated human whose features should vaguely resemble a mix of Jim Belushi and John Candy under a Dark Crystal Henson filtro.

Traag and Granitor:

The Stone Soldiers would look like Henson styled Anthropomorphic Rocks. The faces should vaguely resemble John Goodman for Traag and Moranis for Granitor...

Unintentional Flintstones reference not intended. Toy Traag gives off Goodman vibes and Granitor needed a geely face and Moranis came to mind.

Leatherhead:

Again, this is a Henson croc. Here I would go for the Mirage angle for the character, but giving him pants. I would toss in a soft goods torn sleeveless trenchoat and a hat as a nod to cartoon LH.

Slash:

Here we do what Playmates did in reverse:

We start from Tokka swap his legs and hands. The head should be somewhere between Tokka and a Turtle, to play on the Bizarro Turtle Angle. A Leonardo Styled Belt nailed to the edges of his spiked shell.

Punk Frogs:

Of course the frogs would be Hensonized. One of the frogs should be wearing a Hawaiian shirt with Kermit and Gonzo patterns.

Muckman:

This is a pile of Garbage and sludge shaped like a man. No need to go into details.
