Pennies are discontinued. The ones currently in circulation will be the last pennies ever. Once the ones in circulation get too worn to be used... they're gone.
I have to wonder what will this mean to states and territories with say 7% sales tax or say 11.5% sales tax... because I'm sure that 7% or 11.5% won't be rounded down.

Yes, Jeffrey Epstein's besto frendo... who totally didn't do it out of racism... no. It was because pennies are too expensive to make. Let's ignore that nickels cost almost 14 cents to make. We know the reason... nickels are white while pennies are colored.
