Monty Moose, eh? Yeah... a Canadian Moose. He has no appearances outside the toy. So, a Blank Slate he is. Meaning, we need to work on him to find a way that Playmates won't bitch too much.
My main gripe with Monty Moose is: He's a Moose that was mutated and joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He shouldn't be tearing his clothes as he was halfway through a Mutation.
Why is he designed like that?
So, we have to deviate from Vintage a little bit by giving him alternate legs and feet. Hear me oot!
Like I did with Lionheart and Antrax I'm adding pieces to make him "your own"... but I'm gonna go further.
In box he will have both legs as Moose legs with broken pants. But there will be a pair of neat pants with boots. They will have New Moose-foot shaped boots, but there will also be large human foot shaped Boots. That way you have display options.
For the heads, I'm doing the same thing:
Vintage inspired head with pre-sculpted hat and interchangeable horns.
Modernized head with removable hat and interchangeable horns:
Velvet (flocked)
Non velvet (not flocked)
The horns work with both heads. The new head without hat would be on the MOC figure. (To appease Playmates) also, the heads would have small nubs of horns growing where the flocked or unflocked horns would attach to. (Using the sculpt/engineering cleverly)
His Shirt would get RCMP inspired decorations and In proper colors.
Now for accessories:
We switch the revolver for RCMP inspired handgun and Rifle. We give him the Belt, and Saber. The little friend is up in the air. What the heck he gets a Vintage inspired revolver (enlarged UC Raph revolver.)
Speaking of enlarging, I think the figure should be bigger than Rocksteady but not bigger than Bebop.
Why him?
It's the only police office we have on the line and Scratch, The cat burglar needs a nemesis. It isn't that complicated. But Playmates is the biggest roadblock. His lack of appearances in other media hurt him.
