Cavill returning for Black Adam was his farewell to Superman. On Cavill's Instagram, he posted that he no longer is a son of Martha... With Ben Affleck being out due to his exclusivity contract with his own production company, now no more Cavill, WW3 getting canned, do the math...
The inevitable reboot is coming. It's just the logical solution. It's fucked up that he didn't get a chance to be Superman, aside some of the changes Whedon did for the Theatrical version of Zack Snyder's Justice League.
That is not an "inspiring beacon of hope". This is what Cavill will be remembered for as Superman, which was NOT SUPERMAN AT ALL!
Not even the Black Adam cameo could save Cavill from the inevitable.
Again, the 10-year plan requires a reboot. I've said it already the actors are on a very dangerous age range. Hell, even The Batman could be affected by the reboot. As much as I like RPattz as Batman, I don't see him sticking around for a 10 year plan. Not to Mention that The Batman's Universe isn't suited for Metahumans like Kal-El, or Diana of Themiscyra.
The Snyderverse is beyond dead and buried. So we should prepare ourselves to se a deluge of harassment from the Snydertards and their bot army. Instead of doing the Snydertard thing of harassing WB execs, let's wait and see what they do first. If it sucks, it sucks and you can complain about it. DC deserves a chance to be successful and trying to burn the house down because 3rd rate Michael Bay wannabe isn't at the helm is counterproductive to restoring the cacaverse... but Snydertards got to Snydertard.
