IIRC, the CG Movie line is in the same scale. I've mentioned how the Monster Tower could be repurposed into a Channel 6 display. My brother reminded me of the Cowabunga Carl Van that eluded me for the NECA Turtles.
The Classics work with the Cowabunga Carl Party Van, then Playmates could make a New Party Wagon out of it.
Sure it would require some moderate retooling making the niew rearview mirrors sturdier ti fit the guns.replace the coeabunga Carl head pizza firing mechanism with radar dish. The back would have to be retooled to add the spoiler and the outer piece of the fifth wheel feature with the classic panels. On the other hand the Channel 6 Newsvan would be far easier as it would only require one new piece: replacing the Carl head with an "omnidirectional news camera"
I'm gonna say it flat out a $50-$65 "Classics Party Wagon" would sell, because plenty of NECA, Super7, and other 1:10 and 1:12 collectors keep looking for decently scaled vans in this scale. I mean back when the Cowabunga Carl Van was released many bought it for Customs. So, between customizers, people who missed out on other companies' Party wagons, completionists,
Of course, that is assuming they STILL have the molds, but if Playmates wants to flex that Master License muscle, they need to bring into the fold collectors from the other lines and playing the compatibility game might give Playmates an edge.
