Thundercats wave 8 speculation post

With wave 7 revealed, now we can speculate about wave 8. Just because, theoretically speaking between Mattel and Super7, I'm done with the line after Snarf, doesn't mean I can speculate about the future... for example, I'd still would like to have the Thundercats from the first episode... Child Lion-O both nude and clothed, and the rest of the nudist Thundercats. Hachiman is another figure that I want. But for all intents and purposes, wave 7's Snarf completes the Core Core roster for me.

Instead of doing pseudo waves and splitting them between want, expect, and do not want; I'll make a list of characters and explain why I'd expect them in the line.

A Thunderkitten:
It doesn't matter which one, but it's about damn time that we get one. We saw a sneak peek at Wilykat on Wave 2,  we're still waiting for him or his sister. If they can improve on Mattel's, so be it.

Hachiman:
The Honorable Samurai would make a nice addition to the line. He also can work as a generic Samurai for other lines... (TMNTU comes to mind.)

King Arthur:
Another of Mumm-Ra's disguises. It's a knight with 2 Distinct looks and he also wields Excalibur. Arthur would also work well with other extinct lines *cough* MOTUC *cough*

Safari Joe:
A popular villain... for some reason. It's kinda like Kraven. People know he's an important character, but no one REALLY LIKES HIM... then again, we got Pumm-Ra and Captain Saltine American.

Nayda:
Since we're getting Willa, Nayda would complete the main Warrior Maiden duo.

Enflamer (weakened):
Super7 could reuse most of Mumm-Ra's body with some new limbs and head to create the weakened form of the Enflamer. Toss in a blue robe to complete the look

Enflamer (powered up):
This would require a new lower body that looks incorporeal like ML's disappointing Cannonball.
They can choose to go Mumm-Ra The everliving size or normal sized.

Terrator:
No, I'm totally not mentioning him because of the bloopers... I totally am mentioning him because of the Bloopers.

Claudus:
Lion-O's dad and former Lord of the Thundercats. He should have 3 heads Normal old Claudus, young Claudus, and young Jaga.

Spirit of Jaga:
Jaga but in translucent plastic because spirit.

Anointment Lion-O:
I kinda gave away how to do this a while back.
Basically Lion-O with a new crotch piece with 2 removable belts:
Standard belt and an Anointment Trials belt with the insignias from the other Thundercats.
Removable Vape and an extra head with crown.
The idea is that you can switch from Vanilla Lion-O to Lord Lion-O.

Alluro:
Because he's one of the easiest to make Lunataks, as he's standard sized. We're not ready for an $85 Amok with Luna or a $75 Tug Mug.

Tuska Warrior:
Here Super7 has 3 different versions to make and they would be theoretically great for Army Building. They had 2 different looks between Season 1, Season 2, and LJN. Since LJN variants are a thing now.

Top-Spinner:
We need some Berserker representation on this list, so I'm tossing in the one I had as a kid.

Child Lion-O (clothed):
Before we can get the nudist Thundercats, we need an episode 1 child Lion-O.

Purple Mumm-Ra:
Super7 would try to milk the Everliving Mold as much as they can, Purple Mumm-Ra gives them an unproduced toy variant that they can add the Cartoon head for shits and giggles.

Mumm-Rana: (either form)
The antithesis to Mumm-Ra, all I remember is that her depowered form looked like a mummified nun.

Chilla:
Like Alluro, Chilla is an easier to make Lunatak... Red-Eye is a bit too chunky to figure out if he's doable at normal price.

Driller:
Another villain that I remember decently. The LJN figure, while cool, didn't do justice to his cartoon counterpart.

A Berbil:
There are various Berbils that could use the same molds with minimal tweaks...

And there you have it 20+ characters that could be possible candidates for wave 8. There's plenty more, but those are the top choices I could think of without going too crazy.
