Advent Calendar 10: Found the perfect Krang for Ultimates!

 

And it's NOT Super7:

I'm talking about the Best Axn Krang. The Android Body was decent enough, but the Bubble Walker is better. 

We have tackled other Krangs before... NECA, Super7,  Playmates, even Best AXN... so far Best Axn is winning.

Articulation 

Krang has the same articulation as his Super7 counterpart. The Bubble Walker, unfortunately has less articulation, but at the same time, that's a positive. This allows for sturdier legs, but the tentacles are forced into a static pose.

Paint and sculpt:

This Figure is not cartoon accurate but heavily inspired by it. The simple paintjob allows it to blend better with Super7 without looking too toyetic like the Playmates Figure.

But this Krang actually fits in the Playmates Bubble Walker. So get a Playmates Krang from The 40th anniversary, repaint the Walker and Bimgo Bango you got a Super7 styled Krang that's actually in-Scale with Ultimates.

Here he's a bit lacking due to "heavy toom inspiration"

Personally I believe he should have come with an extra pair of tentacles to use on the bubble walker... for display purposes.

Overall:

Kramg gets a 4.5 as his final score. While it's the second lowest rated Krang figure I've reviewed so far; it's the best of them all. It's the NECA TOON Krang tossed through Toyguru's Classicizer without going Full Vintage.
