Justice League thoughts

So, Batman, Superman, WW, possibly Cyborg, Aquaman and GL... for the Not quite Justice League movie that got delayed to 2016... DC delivered something for us to stave off our appetite for a Justice League Movie...



No, not that... Justice Leage: War...

Yes, it's an animated feature... Which is good since DC's Animated Features beat the crap out of Marvel's.

And yes, I'm somewhat praising something out of the NU52... I know it's weird... Now here come the bad news.

THIS IS WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE FOR THE SO CALLED BvSnqJLA Movie...
The bad guy for this is obviously Darkseid, which is a threat. That is one of the FEW threats that would require Superman + others. The Man of Steel had Zod and other Kryptonians that Superman took out on his own (with help from Lois Lane and that dude from Law and Order)
Now for Villain #2 that forces a team up with Batman and Superman we have... Lex Luthor? I kinda get WHY Man of Steel Started with Zod but how do you step it up after Zod? NOT by using Lex Luthor... We'd need something bigger.

Seems that they could very well rehash the JLA WAR storyline from the NU52 for the movie. Starting with an invasion of Parademons paving the way for the JLA Movie with Darkseid. Which is pretty much what the animated feature does. The first half is basically Batman teaming up with Ryan Reynolds... Yes, the GL in JLAWAR is pretty much Movieverse GL. As I was saying Bats and GL are trying to figure out what's the deal with the ALIEN BOX Thingies through various cities. Batman using his god damned Bat-Detective skills deduces that the boxes are Alien in Origin, so he goes to Metropolis to get answers from the Resident Alien. WW is already established as a Diplomat from Themyscira. Which BvSnqJLA should do to save time... and if they're giving Gal Gadot a WW Movie for her to do. Keep the origins to the movie that WILL FLOP (not because it's Wonder Woman, but the Woman chosen to play Diana of Themyscira is a HORRIBLE ACTRESS. She makes Tommy Wiseau look like a great actor.) We had the Cyborg Origin on the animated feature, which could be used for the JLA half of the story... Yeah! I forgot to mention that BvSnqJLA should lead straight to the JLA Movie... The same way Matrix Reloaded led to Matrix Revolution.

but again, what do I know? Lex Luthor is obviously the far bigger threat that would require the Justice League... If I follow the Hollywood Exec route that would be the perfect choice.(then we make it better by using the poor man's Michael Cera) THIS is why most DC movies have problems. Now with DC releasing this Animated Feature (WAR), they pretty much shot WB in the foot.

AGAIN, you should check out JLA WAR since it has a more Hollywood movie flair to it (due to it being based on the NU52 Universe) and see how a Justice League movie could work. It's not flawless (some of the NU52 characterizations feel off compared to previous continuity. Some of the VA choices seem a bit off.) but it gets the job done.

Also, it seems that Mr. Haku Machente is playing GL... Yes, boys and girls, if this is true, then The Rock is John Stewart. So this is a much better casting choice than The Social Network of Cake Stealers or Gal Gadon't as Wonder Girl.
