Saw Teen Titans go to the movies and the first episode of Rise of the TMNT

Normally, I would split this in two rants, but since they are very short, I decided to join them in one... Kinda like an odds and ends but not quite.

Teen Titans Go to the movies was actually good...

I KNOW... I'm still aghast by it. Let's get a few things out of the way:
IT IS Teen Titans Go! Most of the lame jokes made it to the movie. We dodged the overused Tara Strong is a Pony so Raven, voiced by Strong is a brony. It relies on multiple references to the DC Universe and things most old farts like myself would know.
Songs like A-Ha's Take on Me, the Back to the Future theme...
They mock MARTHA!! throw shade at Green Reynolds and screw it, Marvel References are everywhere... including a rather odd one.

So here's the premise of the movie: Everyone is getting a Superhero movie except Robin. Robin is jealous and tries to get his own movie. The Titans fight and defeat Slade who is forced to use the cliched story trope of filling a Titan with a lot of ego boosting that forces the team to disband. Then after the duped titan (Robin) figures out that Slade played him, he begs forgiveness to his former teammates, they reunite and beat the bad guy.

Yeah, the story is unoriginal, some of the jokes are misses (mostly those straight from the cartoon) but it has a nice pacing, some emotional scenes were, actually emotional, a lot of self deprecating humor from DC's side was decent, but the best part was this:

On the other hand: Rise of the TMNT is a flaming dumpster turd of a show. Nickelodeon dropped their first episode on YouTube and it was highly disappointing.
The Turtles are idiots, incredibly reckless and basically are a bunch of douches and morons... But what's worse is that Splinter is a fat and lazy old man that the Turtles mock, disrespect and get away with it unscathed. You know, as in the complete opposite thing that kids should be learning... Not to mention that it is bad... It makes Teen Titans Go!, the series look good... Hell, Coming Out of their Shells and The Next Mutation look GREAT next to this...

Also, April is a comedic relief. She even growls and bites bad guys like a bitch... as in female dog.
