She-Ra is looking more Ghostbusters 2016 than GB 2016...

Still no info on the show, BUT THE WRITERS ARE ALL WOMEN!!! *sarcastic*yay.*sarcastic*

Before anyone misinterprets what I'm saying... I will say it flat out in bold white and grey...

While there is NOTHING WRONG with having a team of female writers and of itself. The  bad thing is that this is the only freaking info we have on the show! We know nothing about the characters only like a super basic synopsis. We don't know if it's going to be good. The people behind the show aren't talking about how good it is just how Progressive they are and that is just wrong.

It feels like they are PURPOSELY AVOIDING TALKING ABOUT THE SHOW but instead they're tooting their own progressive horns. It's not WRONG to be progressive. The issue is that THAT is the only thing they talk about.

Where IS HORDAK? We haven't seen him and that scares me. We have not seen any of the villains and all the pics shown are of them TALKING... well, except She-Ra whose hair looks like a wig flying off her head and someone pointed out that her cape looks like a tablecloth that flew by because that ain't attached to her at all.

It's giving me a Steven Universe vibe and not in a good way. A superhero show without superhero feats is NOT a good superhero show. Catch my drift? We don't know how big are the stakes. We only have a bratty Catra to measure up and I'm pretty surr that Kurt Angurl and Tyrone can beat up That Catra with ease. What is the Rebellion fighting for?

I'm not asking for the show to be spoilt completely. We just need SOMETHING to get excited about. REGARDING THE SHOW ITSELF... not hiw the team went to drink milkshakes one day, or how they went bowling together. All this avoiding talking about the show kinda feels like THEY KNOW it's garbage (read as gar bash) and thwy are setting up the "misogynerd" defense.
