The trailer was far better than the movie itself... the Zack Snyder effect in action. You know, when the trailer is far better than the movie. That is, the Zack Snyder effect in action. So... yeah.
The problem with it is that it tries to be a Diet Troma movie and tries to be an early 2000s "realistic superhero movie". Reminds me of blade in a bad way. Didn't push the envelope hard enough to the ridiculous and wasn't immature enough.
I WANTED to like the movie, but I didn't. I didn't hate it either. It just felt flat from being a true Troma-esque film.
Also... movie has Kevin Bacon in it... guess what role he plays...
I prefer the original... and Fuck Peter Dinklage for ruining dwarf roles for everyone else.
