My Little Breast Cancer: Cancer sucks ass

 Bad news, Asheligh Ball, voice of Rainbow Dash and Applejack has Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer. This is not bueno.

This is very worrisome, as triple negative type 4 is usually very bad news. Hopefully it'll get in remission... best wishes to Ms. Ball.

Street Fighter 2026: The movie: The rant:

 Saw it... and I have thoughts:

Where do I start:

It sucked... but it didn't suck. It's not a so bad It's good movie. Technically speaking is more faithful to the lore and at the same time it isn't. 

The movie goes into the overarching Bison wants Ryu's Satsui no Hadou story than purely SF2.

We got Guile's Theme, Ryu's theme, and The Character select theme... We got the He-Man song...

A few times during the movie.

Mr. Dalmatianchan did a decent job with Bison... He is no Raúl Juliá, but was way better than Neil McDonough.

Also, he did the thing:

There's a reference to the Chun Li Shower scene from the Animated SF movie...

Guile's car is based on the Animated movie... I don't think they referenced the animated series... but there's some images from Super SFII Turbo recreated in the movie.

The plot starts with Animated SF1 flashbacks with Sagat being animated.

The movie is a love letter to Street Fighter slightly Hollywoodized.

The toys already spoiled Evil Ryu...

I Hated the Ending... but overall, I enjoyed the movie... Guile doesn't do much... but Cody Rhodes was a million times better than JCVD.

This new Chun Li was decent, but I prefer Ming Na... I prefer Kylie Minogue's Cammy over the new one...

It's on par with 1994... though I prefer 94 a bit more. I will probably see it again... not as many times as He-Man, but I will buy it physical.

 Which means that they're $5 less than a Super7 deluxe figure. I know what you're going to say: "you buy $30 Jada figures." Yeah, but that was to finish off a 17 figure line.

NYCC Mattel and McFarlane: a rant

 Mcfarlane has his last DC waves Absolute DC Universe stuff... meh... but Mattel showed their adult collector line starting with a Hush Batman at 6.5 inches:

This is $100: Rooftop diorama has working batsignal, steam/humidifier to make the bat signal visible and the Batman has ToyBiz ML levels of articulation with Hasbro styled swappable parts.

There will be two tiers legacy being the equivalent to WWE Elite and Ultimate with more swappable stuff...

Hory shet... that gives me hope for TMNT but makes me worried for my wallet.

 Darkstalkers are my main priority.

Modern gaming and preservation

 Does it even make sense? My PS4 is 10 years old and has gone through 3 HDDs and now between AI and hardware getting discontinued, I may have a paperweight... so will the PS5... that's scary, yo! 

With Sony going digital and storage drives being well, a bitch to get... it's gonna be an uphill battle to preserve games. 

Nintendo is also strong on the anti-preservation movement...
