With Street Fighter II done, what would I like to see from Jada?

 I know they have SFAlpha, Strider, Astro Boy, continuing Scooby (13 ghosts versions please) and Mega Man (we need Roll, the Doctors, Bass...)

But what wlse would I like to see from them?

Storm Collectibles had the line seems dead...

The 5, Anbu, Berg Katse, Galactor soldiers, civilian forms of the 5, Sosai X... that's like 15 releases altogether.

RB Fatal Fury Special:

This could totally lead to: CVS2...

Jonny Quest:

Not everything needs to be game or anime based. And we have a few characters depending the iteration.

Shenmue:

Of course I'm sneaking it in.

Darkstalkers:

Because we know Storm will choke.

 Let's face it, neither will Storm Collectibles, since they are moving into third strike... also SH Figuarts did some repaints and Street Fighter was off the radar, like their Ranma reboot figures.

Zangief is in my pile of loot. Now Thunderhead... Thunder Hawk is joining the PoL... until we get another videogame character... either Lara or Tempestra. With my luck both. Anyway...

We can't recreate this shot due to the figures not having the parts to do so. But a group shot is doable.

The Stage 1 Boss. He returns for SF6 but we are looking at FF.

She was in FF2 but I remember her mostly for CVS2.

Mainly for SFV but she was in FF3

For the Andore as a SFIII reference  and that she can get a Roxy redeco.

5) Andore:

 Basically Hugo. We could get repaints for the stage 3 scene.

We know what to expect from Jada... he's well articulated. Waist twist scares me a little, though.

Articulation:

He's basically the equivalent to Rey Mysterio from the Lucha Lowrider... but with a different body. Same articulation as the Kid Core MOTU.

She was 16-17 in 1990. So doing the math, she's in her early 50s...

Yup! We are getting Miss Kasugano... watch how some of her parts will be reused for Miss Kanzuki on wave 3. I'm surprised that Ken, Akuma, or Dan weren't on wave 2. But in a way, I'm glad that they're not rehashing the same characters as Storm Arena. Personally, I hope they stick to the new characters or the classic characters that look very different from their street fighter II counterparts. Gimme the Roses, Rolentos, Gens, Karins, over Blanka, Guile, Fei Long, etc. Of course, I wouldn't say no to an extra large Bison.

More SDCC Updates: 94CotA Sentinel crowdfunding and Jaguar Kicks

 Hasbro is making a crowdfinding for the X-men children of the atom Sentinel and wants $100 for it.

I'm not Gonna lie it looks really good. But at the same time, it doesn't scream $100 Good. 

Jada dropped a reveal of the second Alpha figure for wave 2.

I mentioned the Jagiar Kick so you know it's Adon... I hope figure 3 is Rose...or Sakura/Karin. Also the second round of SDCC stuff from jada sold out in a flash.

Street Fighter Stuff: Hasbro vs Jada:

Soem SDCC news: MotU, GI Joe, Street Fighter

 Jada made me think of Mattycollector. The headpack sold out in less than 5 minutes... couldn't even try to order as it was sold out once I got to the SDCC page.

BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth have the GI Joe Classified Lara Croft. $45... yikes! One must be an idiot to pay that... I will be an idiot then. Managed to preorder her.

Mattel is rebooting Origins and now they will integrate Build a Figure to the line... if only they fixed distribution issues as the last Origins I saw were the TMNT crossover and those were at a mom and pop pharmacy, not a big retailer like say Walmart.

 We got the second SDCC Exclusive... it's Street Fighter related.

Problem is that it'll be a Jada exclusive and they kinda are a pain to ahip outside US. IIRC, they classified Puerto Rico as international and unable to ship.

A recolor of Akuma with extras. MEH! I just wish these were accessory packs.

Saw He-Man again. Liked it a bit better this time. I still have a few gripes but, this time there were more kids and for the most part they enjoyed it. That's a good thing. Macy's had a few Chronicles... Tri-Klops and Duncan, but those are a tad too expensive... also notoced how shittily stocked was that Macy's TRU... No Marvel, No Star Wars, No Transformers, No TMNT, no Mario... loads of Barbie and crappy dolls.

Todd is at it again... first Naruto, then My Hero Macadamia... Now...

Look at how they massacred my ballless boy... though Turbo Okarun isn't that bad.

So, now I've completed both Waves 2 and 3 of Street Fighter. So let's tackle them:

Guile:

Articulation:

He has the Standard Jada Articulation and can pull off most Guile Poses. Some require stands, which these figures don't have and I'm too lazy to buy stands on eBay.

I have to be honest. It's a shame he doesn't have the toe hinges, otherwise, we could land more Guile Poses.

His Articulation is on par with Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified.

Paint and sculpt:

Here Guile has a few advantages... and some disadvantages... His sculpt is pretty good and his shirt has sculpted details. The legs on the other hand seem a bit shorter than they should. But he's more accurate than SH Figuarts.

This barely qualifies for a 5.0 but at a third of the price of the SH Figuarts who has 3 faceplates, 4 extra Hands, sonic boom effect, comb, and stand is a steal.

Overall:

Guile gets a 4.67 as his final score. It's good but a couple of accessories could have improved it. 

Hand effects for firing the sonic boom, 2 extra Hands. Don't get me Wrong: For the price point of the figure it's a steal... unlike Bandai's rip-off.

Articulation:

She feels slightly better than Chun Li as her outfit doesn't have any interference due to her outfit. Even her braids have an Articulation point. Mine are super loose and it's scary.

Dee Jay is like Ryu on steroids. Same articulation, slightly better range... his braids MAY have articulation but mine were a little stiff so I didn't push it.

His likeness is pretty good. Some people have had issues that the torso skintone doesn't match the rest of his body. I was lucky. Sadly, there were a few paint issues.

Dee Jay: Mi nuh undastan yuh ching chong, shi fi mi now!
Ken (VO): He's calling you a loser and wait, since when you've shown interest in Cammy?  You too have white fever.

Those were easily fixed with a touch of paint.

Advent Calendar 02: The Day Bison got Reviewed

 Was the greatest day of Nefty's Life... but for Bison, it was Tuesday... Three Bison Figures, all reviewed on a Tuesday. I postponed the Jada Bison to the 2025 Advent Calendar because I was finished with 2024 by the time he arrived to my doorstep. 

So, who is Bison? Evil Dictator and leader of the criminal empire known as Shadaloo. He is able to use the negative energy and amplify his strength. He calls it Psycho Power. Like a roach, he is hard to kill.

Chun Li: Why are we referencing the Shitty Street Fighter movie?
Bison: Wait we're doing The Legend of Chun Li? I WAS PREPARED TO DO 1994!

Articulation 

M. Bison has standard Jada Articulation plus partially Articulated Shoulderpads. There is some Nifty engineering on the shoulder pads in order to make them swappable... They can be a bit tricky though. A part of me is considering buying a second M Bison and glue the shoulder pads to each figure. One figure would have the cake permanently appached. The other would be with the Bear shoulder pads... He can do many of the game poses but but he cannot cross his arms and Jada didn't give him alternate crossed arms like other more expensive fogures have.

For the most part he's based on SF2... He's.

 Not as bulky as the street fighter alpha version, but he is bulkier than the street fighter 2 version. I kind of wish we could get the emaciated capcom vs SNK version of Bison.
