Sagat casting nightmare:

 Sagat is supposed to be on the Street Fighter sequel.

I asked a clanker to make this piece of digital nightmare. Luckily for us,  he isn't that tall in real life. Honestly, I don't know if there will be a sequel. I mean the movie's doing okay, but it's not doing great. Unlike He-Man, this movie was a lot cheaper to make.

I've heard people asking for The Rock to play this role.

The rock will demand a huge salary and will demand to never lose any fight. Sagat is supposed to lose. Also, it would be a worse choice than Vin Diesel... Let Sagat be Asian.

 Saw it... and I have thoughts:

Where do I start:

It sucked... but it didn't suck. It's not a so bad It's good movie. Technically speaking is more faithful to the lore and at the same time it isn't. 

The movie goes into the overarching Bison wants Ryu's Satsui no Hadou story than purely SF2.

We got Guile's Theme, Ryu's theme, and The Character select theme... We got the He-Man song...

A few times during the movie.

Mr. Dalmatianchan did a decent job with Bison... He is no Raúl Juliá, but was way better than Neil McDonough.

Also, he did the thing:

There's a reference to the Chun Li Shower scene from the Animated SF movie...

Guile's car is based on the Animated movie... I don't think they referenced the animated series... but there's some images from Super SFII Turbo recreated in the movie.

The plot starts with Animated SF1 flashbacks with Sagat being animated.

The movie is a love letter to Street Fighter slightly Hollywoodized.

The toys already spoiled Evil Ryu...

I Hated the Ending... but overall, I enjoyed the movie... Guile doesn't do much... but Cody Rhodes was a million times better than JCVD.

This new Chun Li was decent, but I prefer Ming Na... I prefer Kylie Minogue's Cammy over the new one...

It's on par with 1994... though I prefer 94 a bit more. I will probably see it again... not as many times as He-Man, but I will buy it physical.

Why the fuck a Ken centric movie lacks his theme or at least they should've gotten Mighty Wings!

We can't recreate this shot due to the figures not having the parts to do so. But a group shot is doable.

Watching Street Fighter on Tubi while waiting fir Street Fighter on theaters

 Mainly because of Raúl Juliá.

I'm also awaiting for Tuah, Hawk to hit my BBTS Pile of Loot and complete Super Street Fighter II Turbo roster.

Holy Ass Crackers! This flop is still giving Capcom at least $63,000+ a year...

Regardless of whether the New Street Fighter movie does well or not, it won't change the soft spot I have for this movie.

Mainly because we get an Urien Reuse, so it looks like they did more.

My Storm Collectibles Zangief Broke...

I warned folks back in 2017  about the shoulder issues.

The Right shoulder cup disintegrated and the left is on its way. I tried the baking soda + superglue trick, the tissue paper plus superglue dangerous pseudo micarta trick... nothing works. Why am I mentioning this now?

Storm Collectibles can't finish a roster and now they're adding SF III Third Strike.

I hope Jada sticks to their guns and finish the SFZ3 roster.

We know what to expect from Jada... he's well articulated. Waist twist scares me a little, though.

Articulation:

He's basically the equivalent to Rey Mysterio from the Lucha Lowrider... but with a different body. Same articulation as the Kid Core MOTU.

Street Fighter 2nd Trailer

 Has Dan, Zangief, Dhalsim stretching, E.Honda and hints of Evil Ryu.

Holy shit! We have another Masters of the Universe here... there I said it. Won't be Assassin's Fist good but better than the 94 movie Minus Raúl Juliá. Also, trailer was relased on a Tuesday.

Yup! We are getting Miss Kasugano... watch how some of her parts will be reused for Miss Kanzuki on wave 3. I'm surprised that Ken, Akuma, or Dan weren't on wave 2. But in a way, I'm glad that they're not rehashing the same characters as Storm Arena. Personally, I hope they stick to the new characters or the classic characters that look very different from their street fighter II counterparts. Gimme the Roses, Rolentos, Gens, Karins, over Blanka, Guile, Fei Long, etc. Of course, I wouldn't say no to an extra large Bison.

More SDCC Updates: 94CotA Sentinel crowdfunding and Jaguar Kicks

 Hasbro is making a crowdfinding for the X-men children of the atom Sentinel and wants $100 for it.

I'm not Gonna lie it looks really good. But at the same time, it doesn't scream $100 Good. 

Jada dropped a reveal of the second Alpha figure for wave 2.

I mentioned the Jagiar Kick so you know it's Adon... I hope figure 3 is Rose...or Sakura/Karin. Also the second round of SDCC stuff from jada sold out in a flash.

Soem SDCC news: MotU, GI Joe, Street Fighter

 Jada made me think of Mattycollector. The headpack sold out in less than 5 minutes... couldn't even try to order as it was sold out once I got to the SDCC page.

BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth have the GI Joe Classified Lara Croft. $45... yikes! One must be an idiot to pay that... I will be an idiot then. Managed to preorder her.

Mattel is rebooting Origins and now they will integrate Build a Figure to the line... if only they fixed distribution issues as the last Origins I saw were the TMNT crossover and those were at a mom and pop pharmacy, not a big retailer like say Walmart.

 We got the second SDCC Exclusive... it's Street Fighter related.

Problem is that it'll be a Jada exclusive and they kinda are a pain to ahip outside US. IIRC, they classified Puerto Rico as international and unable to ship.

Odds and emds June 17: Todd, Jada, He-Man

 Jada revealed their SDCC USFIIT exclusive.

A recolor of Akuma with extras. MEH! I just wish these were accessory packs.

Saw He-Man again. Liked it a bit better this time. I still have a few gripes but, this time there were more kids and for the most part they enjoyed it. That's a good thing. Macy's had a few Chronicles... Tri-Klops and Duncan, but those are a tad too expensive... also notoced how shittily stocked was that Macy's TRU... No Marvel, No Star Wars, No Transformers, No TMNT, no Mario... loads of Barbie and crappy dolls.

Todd is at it again... first Naruto, then My Hero Macadamia... Now...

Dan Hibiki is here. Yes, I got a Storm Collectibles Storm Arena Alpha 3 Dan... because he's Dan. Since Jay da is hydro likely to be making street fighter alpha figures until 2028... I caved in.

Dan is a joke character, specifically a parody of Snk's art of fighting's Ryo and Robert.

. He is infamous force socking, and when you beat an opponent using Dan, you're just basically humiliating the opponent and showing off your skills.

Articulation

Dan for the most part has the same articulation as Jada toys figures. With the addition of a toll hinge and extra drop down hip articulation... He cannot do the role for the supertaunt, but he can do most of his moves. Sadly, he lacks the hands for the super taunt.

He is not exactly game accurate. He looks more like his Alpha 1 counterpart... a Hybrid look.

I hate the soft rubbery torso, but he looks fine.
