Advent Calendar 19: a Super Street Fighter Combo

 I got these for Epiphany (Día de Los Reyes Magos for the 2 Latin American readers).

Ryu: I remember the time you tried to Isekai me aboard Truck-kun!
Dee Jay: Mi hear seh yuh a bumbaclot, Bison!
Cammy: English, Dee Jay! We don't understand your... WHY IS YOUR HAND ON MY BUM, MASTERS!?
Ken: I was swatting a mosquito, Cammy! Honest! Also, Ryu is the Lolifucker.
Ryu: For the last time, Ken, I was asleep and Sakura RAPED ME! I have no sexual interests AT ALL!
Chun Li: Fuckdammit!
Bison: Are you sure, you eight are enough to take on me? Why don't you guys wait for the Indian...
Dhalsim: I'm right here, Bison. Can't you see me levitating?

So, now I've completed both Waves 2 and 3 of Street Fighter. So let's tackle them:

Guile:

Articulation:

He has the Standard Jada Articulation and can pull off most Guile Poses. Some require stands, which these figures don't have and I'm too lazy to buy stands on eBay.

I have to be honest. It's a shame he doesn't have the toe hinges, otherwise, we could land more Guile Poses.

His Articulation is on par with Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified.

Paint and sculpt:

Here Guile has a few advantages... and some disadvantages... His sculpt is pretty good and his shirt has sculpted details. The legs on the other hand seem a bit shorter than they should. But he's more accurate than SH Figuarts.

This barely qualifies for a 5.0 but at a third of the price of the SH Figuarts who has 3 faceplates, 4 extra Hands, sonic boom effect, comb, and stand is a steal.

Guile: "Are you sure about that, Jackie Chan?"

Overall:

Guile gets a 4.67 as his final score. It's good but a couple of accessories could have improved it. 

Hand effects for firing the sonic boom, 2 extra Hands. Don't get me Wrong: For the price point of the figure it's a steal... unlike Bandai's rip-off.

Cammy:

Articulation:

She feels slightly better than Chun Li as her outfit doesn't have any interference due to her outfit. Even her braids have an Articulation point. Mine are super loose and it's scary.

Paint and sculpt:

She looks a lot better in person. I really like how vibrant she looks. Kinda wish she had butterfly shoulders though. She is a very fin figure to play with.

Guess I better start. Looking for generic action figurestands, preferably those with a C-clip for the figure to stand in airborne Poses. I wish she had gotten a third head with removable hat to mimic her win pose.

Overall:

Cammy gets a 4.83 as her final score. There is very little that could have been done to improve this figure...

Dee Jay:

We are in uncharted territory as Jada did what SOTA Couldn't.

Dee Jay: Max Out!
Bison: That's it? You're almost as bad as
the Pink clad Karateka.
Dee Jay: Yuh just call mi Dan Hibiki? Yuh cya guh fuck yourself, bumbaclot!

Articulation:

Dee Jay is like Ryu on steroids. Same articulation, slightly better range... his braids MAY have articulation but mine were a little stiff so I didn't push it.

Dee Jay: Yuh nuh scare me bumbaclot!
Cammy: YOU MONSTER! LEAVE MY COOL RUNNINGS ALONE!

Paint and sculpt:

His likeness is pretty good. Some people have had issues that the torso skintone doesn't match the rest of his body. I was lucky. Sadly, there were a few paint issues.

Dee Jay: Hey Ryu! Cammy fi mi now!
Ryu (VO): Nani?
Dee Jay: Mi nuh undastan yuh ching chong, shi fi mi now!
Ken (VO): He's calling you a loser and wait, since when you've shown interest in Cammy?  You too have white fever.

Those were easily fixed with a touch of paint.

I'm going to call it now. A Deluxe Variant is most likely to get c-grips and maracas... or a Machine gun fist effect.
