Welp! Pizza Hut ia also mostly gone

 Encanto Restaurants has fucked up beyond any recognition. 50 out of 56 Pizza Huts in Puerto Rico have shut down. That is seriously fucked up about 700 people now without a job. Combined with the KFC and Taco Bell layoffs, that's over 2000 employees now unemployed... with skyrocketing utilites (power and water) costs... my condolences to those who lost their jobs.

How long until the IHOP folks get screwed over? Seeing that Encanto Restaurants manages the IHOP franchises here.

 What the actual Fuck? I mean, their quality had been in decline for a bit... but apparently, the Franchise Operator in PR was not up to snuff with Yum! Brands standards. Pizza Hut remains in the island as, they split from Yum early 2026.

Yum! Claims it's a small hiatus until they find a replacement for Encanto Restaurants... but this could be another Gamestop situation. My condolences to the employees affected by this disaster.
