He was in BOTH Miami Vices... the 80s series and the 2006 movie adaptation. He was in Invasion USA, 8mm, The Specialist, Bad Boys, the OG 21 Jump Street, and the reason I remember him: Proof of Life.
The reason I'm writing this rant is because I'm working on another chapter of my shitty fic loosely tied to TMNT to make it a fanfic... and there's a reference to Proof of Life specifically, the scene where, Mr. Sanchez is scamming Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe interferes and he came with David Caruso.
Near the end, when Caruso is ushering them out at shotgun-point someone yells in Spanish with a slightly Cuban Accent ¿Cómo coño quieres que me vaya comemierda, si no tengo las llaves del carro?
The phrase became something of a meme between my mom and I. Using ¿Cómo coño quieres que me vaya comemierda, si no tengo x? With x Being whatever we forgot.
Lung Cancer was the reason of his death. My late condolences to friends and family. As a former theater kid, it's sad when a defender of the theatrical arts leaves the mortal coil.
