If I were in charge of ML here's my theoretical waves for the first half of 2019

Not counting the mandatory Avengers4 wave. You KNOW it HAS to happen.
It's 2 themed waves: 1 for Spider-Man, One for the X-Men
The third wave doesn't have a "theme" in itself, but it's something closer to a ToyBiz era wave... (with BaF, of course) AGAIN THIS IS A THEORETICAL SET OF WAVES. Nothing official.

Spider-Man wave: Hydroman BAF (Dark shirt/pants)
We never had a true ML Hydroman. We need to correct this mistake. This would be a seven figure wave.

Bombastic Bagman: Extra watery hands
A Spidey is mandatory in a Spidey wave. Since Hydroman is an enemy of both Spidey and the F4, Bagman being in the wave is a nod to that.

Trapster: left arm
Here I want to go with the 80s version of him.
Part of it is due to him having some potential reuse from Prowler and other figures. Also, he has been part of the Frightful 4... and I wouldn't want to force  Paste Pot Pete in his Paste Pot  outfit.

Rocket Racer: right arm
I like rocket racer and he could be pulled off with the teen buck and a few slip-on pieces.

Spot: left leg
I know what youv're thinking: Spot, what the Hell? Part of it is saving tooling budget for the year... you'll see in a little while . The other thing is that It's the Spot. Think about this:
Most Hasbro ML have removable hands that are compatible.
Now with an extra head and a spot accessory that can be put on another figure's forearm we can kinda make this.
Also, also, he has encountered both Spidey and the F4 as his opponents before... sensing a bit of a pattern here.

Lady Octopus: head
I love Doc Ock and I have a soft spot for Clone Saga era characters.

The Rose: torso
Getting some reuse of that Chameleon buck and adding another Mobster. I want him to be the Richard Fisk version, but there have been a couple of Roses.

Puma: right leg
He's the one who would require a bit of new tooling. If Hasbro plays it smart, thwy could reuse some of his parts on a more FASCINATING Mutant...

That makes Hydroman... Now for the X-Men wave
X-Men: Strong Guy BAF.

Feral Wolverine: Left arm
The savage Feral Wolverine after the failed attempt by Genesis to reinfuse Adamantium to the vertically challenged Angry and stabby Canadian.

Cannonball: Left leg
The look I'm thinking for Sam is the X-force blue and yellow outfit similar to Cyclops. (Circa Wolverine 100
... yes Wolvie 100 has influenced part of this wave)

Boom Boom: torso
Here I'd go with the pink and gold Boomer look. Don't like her recent civilian clothing look and the oink and gold look I remember from the 90s trading cards.

Genesis: right arm
Didn't I mention that Wolverine 100 was a huge insoiration fir this wave? Well, he's here because of that

Rictor: Right leg
While, yes, he completes Shatterstar, that's not why he's here. He was one of Strong Guy's teammates so, that's why he's here.

Banshee: head
The abomination from 2006 must be corrected... that is all.

Now for the more ToyBiz era wave: Power Pack-in... Obviously it's a nod to the Power Pack that will be featured in the wave and Pack-in because the BAFs, yes BAFs as in more than one. Are Pack-in sized like Puck or Comic book Rocket Raccoon.

Psi-Lord (Fantastic Five, MC-2): Young Franklin Richards legs. Yes, it's a bit of a joke having Franklin Richards cone with a bit of himself as a BAF. He is also there to test the waters for more MC-2 folks.

Doctor Doom: Energizer, Young Franklin Richards and Howard the duck heads. The last Doom was decent, bht we haven't had one in ages. Also having him come with the heads is a bit creepy  (done on purpose)

Lightspeed: Young Franklin Richards torso and arms
Julie would use the teen girl body with a couole of slip-on pieces for the arms and legs.

Zero G: Howard the Duck Torso and Arms
He'd use the smaller slim adult body like say Spider-Man and his arms and kegs would get slip-on pieces.

Mass Master: Howard the duck legs.
The teen male body like the Ultimate Spider-Man body would work.  Like his siblings slip-on pieces for the arms and legs complete his look.

Valeria Von Doom: Energizer legs
It's  another parallel Earth version of a Richards child. I did it on purpose as a nod to the weird lives and adventures of the F4.

Johnny Storm: (flame off) Energizer torso.
Johnny Storm in his F4 outfit NO FLAMING HAIR just his classic 60s-70s hairstyle with a second partially flamed head and clip on flame effects. He's meant to match the Walgreens F4 figures.

3 mini bafs seems like an overkill and yes, Energizer is purposely set up with Non-PP members to "force" you into getting the whole wave. In the end it isn't AS ToyBiz era wave as I thought... maybe the weird Howard the duck reference... I mean it's not Spider-Man on a Sentinel BAF bad, but...

Now as an added bonus: The original 4th wave, that I had to eliminate to make room for the eventual movie wave.
It was an Avengers-ish wave... the BAF is an Avenger (Smart Hulk) but it's a hodgepodge of Space stuff with a little Avengers added. It's a 7 figure wave, but one of the figires isn't needed for the BaF. Unlike previous waves where ALL ARE NEEDED.

Bruce Banner: Right arm.
We haven't had a Comic Book Banner since the awful 90s Stephen Dorf Reuse Banner. This Banner would be literally Bamner waking up from a Hulk rampage. Shirtless, shoeless, clueless as to his whereabputs and what he has done. He'd have a second angry head with green eyes and his skin getting a bit green.

Rick Jones: Left arm.
I know what you're thinking: Rick Jones? Why?
Two words: Nega-Bands.

Quasar: Left Leg.
Quasar's Quantum bands were the inspiration for Mar-Vell's Nega-Bands. Also, my first VCR was a Quasar, so I want a Quasar just to make jokes about ne wanting to put VHS tapes in him.

Crystal: Torso.
We have Blackbolt and Medusa as Inhumans representatives in ML. I simply want the one that had some contact with the F4 abd hasn't had a figure.

Modular Armor Ironman: right leg.
Yes, He's here for 2 reasons: Marvel Superheroes and

And since it's supposed to be an "Avengers wave" it was him or Steve.

Whiplash: head
We have not had a Comic Book Whiplash in ML, we had Mickey Rourke, but not the real one. Also, I love the ridiculously campy vintage suit.

Mar-Vell: nothing
This is the extra figure. The Original Captain Marvel that is NOT Carl Manvers. This is why I added the Rick Jones figure to the wave.

This last wave, I could say is more ToyBiz era wave than the Power Pack wave.
