I will do a review on Little Karen in the next few days, saving the others for the Future. The others will have a cameo in this year's Toycember. I still need to get male bodies, both thin and Fluffy, but I want to share my thoughts on the line, now that I HAVE ACTUAL figures.
I already mentioned my issue with the Sculpted Bra with painted tops. They need to make a few extra pieces.
- Featureless "nude torso".
- Featureless "Unitard torso"
The "nude Torso" is akin to a Barbie Torso. I mentioned how the existing torso can be used with some overlays. (It can be done, since Brad and Hunter have overlays and so does the female announcer.) The Nude Torso can benefit from the overlays as well, but it works better with paint. Need a top with some cleavage? The Nude Torso gives you cleavage without the bra sculptlines.
The "Unitard torso" allows for Turtlenecks, Sportsbras, Unitards, bodysuits, tubetops.
For example: Tasha head painted as white skinned with red hair. Add this new unitard torso in yellowish flesh colored sleeveless and Amber's skirt in green and brown boots, you got a new character, let's call her Blaire.
I mentioned overlays:
Things like crop tops, Daisy Duke styled tied shirts, short sleeveless vests, longer sleeveless vests. Some could benefit from the bra body for more Punk/Goth characters. Others could use the other torso too. Hell, some overlays could benefit from the Ultimate Wrestling Crew female Referee sleeves for a baggy shirt overlay...
The idea is to build a small cache of parts where they can be mixed and matched to make more diverse characters.
I will suggest some parts for the kids as well:

Yes, annoying kid from Full House. But hear me out:
A modified lower half of the torso to fit an overall overlay. Just to give some visual diversity on the kids. There are plenty of combinations there.
Bare upper arms and thighs. Before you summon Chris Hansen, hear me out!
How are long sleeved outfits made on this line?
Bare arms painted. There you go.
The "bare" thighs are for the Skirt crotch. Which could get painted as a skirt or leggins. Also, the skirt can be combined with the overalls. Again, the idea is to have multiple variations on the characters.
Now let's move on to the men.
I mentioned that the Wrestling Crew has the button up shirts that can be used on some men.
But we could also use:
- Bare upper arms
- Shorts and bare lower legs
- Different overlays
Again, the bare upper arms are not just for sleeveless tanktops/or the goodies. They're for some long sleeved shirts or ¾ length sleeves for Baseball Jersey styled shirts.
The shorts/bare lower legs is to have the option for some dudes in shorts. Like the douche that wears a blazer and shorts, also, thin guys In shorts and T-shirts, since we got the Big Men wearing shorts.
Different Overlays: we got the Hoodies, the Blazer and I want some more:
- Denim vest
- Letterman Jacket
- Tied hoodie/jacket on waist
- Leather Jacket
These can be used on various combinations.
The big folks... need big women. We could get a Muumuu overlay, a skirt overlay, and obviously more feminine breasts.
If you noticed something, is that I'm seeing the potential with these. Sure, they're not perfect for Super7's 1:10 TMNT, but they technically work better with NECA's TOON and MIRAGE TMNT. These are great background fillers for those lines and Marvel Legends. For Wrestling figures, the cartoons sculpts need to be toned down a little. Like in the Wrestling Crew line.
Personally, I LOVE the cartoony look of the figures, since they fit what I want them to fit. My eventual TMNT/MuTeens display.
I noticed some things on these Arena steps...
First up is BRAD! Right side near the top of the stairs. Can't miss his glasses and handlebar mustache.
On the left side next to a big woman, we have a girl with pinkish hair that re.inds me of Tasha.
I would buy both.
On the left side we also have a Grumpy Santa looking guy. I would like the mustard colored dude with the huge buck teeth next to him... and the bored to death lady in blue with the jacket tied on her waist. Then there's the blonde with the pixie cut and orange shirt. Want her. The Fat dude next to her could be a decent base for a custom me. So I want him too!
On the Right side we have the red shirt green pants lady... want her. And the totally NOT SHAGGY dude. While we're still on the right, the black woman with the purple shirt and her white partner with matching shirt. Last but not least, the Redhead in the teal top.
But this brings me to the next point...
We need Teens:
Grown men are 6.5"
Grown women are 6.0"
Children are 4.25"
We need something more...
Yes, Ivan Ooze, Teenagers.
I'm thinking teenage boys at 5.75" and girls at 5.25"... but I could accept 6.0" boys (since many teenage boys tend to be as tall if not taller than the average Grown woman while the girls are 5.5" and in any case, they'd be taller than the children.
I honestly see potential to this line and I wish it prospers long enough to see more characters.
