MS Paint is dead... or is it?

Yup, you heard me... Microsoft Paint, the very Microsoft Paint that people who use Photoshop and other advanced photo editing programs, is dead...

As you may know, MS Paint is one of the favorite tools at the House of Rants for quick explanations of ideas when Pen or pencil, paper, a scanner or a camera are not available. It allows for some quick drawings of ideas that could look ultra good using some of the fancier tools (but would take a ton of time to look good) Losing MS Paint is like losing a good old friend. I spent so many hours in my youth doodling there. Most of the Sprite art I used to do in the past was made in MS Paint. So I kinda feel sad, in a way, that paint is now going to get the plug pulled on it.

Update: Microsoft sent Mashable the following statement:

"MS Paint is not going away. In addition to the new 3D capabilities, many of the MS Paint features people know and love like photo editing and 2D creation are in Paint 3D - the new app for creativity, available for free with the Windows 10 Creators update. In the future, we will offer MS Paint in the Windows Store also for free and continue to provide new updates and experiences to Paint 3D so people have the best creative tools all in one place."

So, it's not dead? YES!!
