Top 20 most wanted My Hero Academia for Total Anime or a specialized MHA line

 Jazwares has gotten better over the years and their Total Anime line is decent... also I kinda like My Hero Academia. So here's  my list of top 20 MHA Characters:

Remember that we already have Deku, Vigilante Deku, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Shigaraki. I forgot if there was an upcoming Dabi. Let's pretend there is for this list.

Again, after Dabi and Shigaraki, she's high there on the top villains.

Mr. Aizawa looks cool and I need another teacher that isn't All Might.

Bakugo needs his Sidekick. His accessories can easily be swappable parts for his hardened form.

We need villains, so why not add the Big Bad... especially since we have the current user of One for All twice in the line.

The Hero Killer, mainly due to his cool design.

More thoughts on 1:12 to 1:10 stuff

 Getting the FTC Media Scrum playset is a slightly cheaper take on the Scalpor set. You get chairs, mics and water bottles, but a blank backdrop and thr same tables and cloth cover for them. Sure you don't get a figure, but it's easier to build your own displays. Blank cloth allows you to print and attach your own decals. Or just plain print stuff and glue or tac to it.

You can use 1:24 3d printed statues, the Itty bitty funko pops. Now we have excuses for scalpers. Those World's Smallest figures... and stuff like mini brands stuff for garage sales, flea markets and stuff.

Once again we need more diverse 1:12 to 1:10 bodies. 

Of course, some of these would have more use on the pink aisle. Mattel... I know you and I don't have the best relationship, but hear me out: 

First ignore the tired Valkyrie statue... then this is my crazy idea:

WWE figure Scaled Barbie "Action Dolls". Bodies like action figures but doll playability and world...

Translation:

They're action figures first, but they get the Barbie Treatment for looks, vehicles and Playsets. They would also could crosspollinate with WWE by having joint crossovers. Whether Barbie as a wrestler or dressed as a Diva... maybe even an Announcer or whatever. Barbie Limo could be repainted into a WWE Mr. McMahon or JBL limo or whatever. Just as Big Jim crosspollinated stuff with MOTU.

Now I would have 3 tiers for these:

Basic: 

Similar to the Basic WWE Figures: sculpted clothing, Basic articulation... think Diva Superstars that I use as MuTeens stuff... or Superhero girls for the Skipper sized teen girls.

I'm referencing both scale and articulation.

Target audience is kids.

Deluxe:

Would be closer to WWE Elite figures:

By Deluxe I mean better Articulation and adding accessories like wheel chairs prostheses? and stuff. Some figures could get soft goods accessories and prebuild the elite nude bodies... both kids and collectors would be the main target.

The third level would be Elite:

Mainly for collectors, here we get in some cases, soft goods outfits, alternate heads for expressions or rooted hair, special collectors figures, like say Ken as He-Man and Barbie as She-Ra (Masterverse bodies with Ken and Barbie Heads.) Allan as Matt Mason, etc. 

We could get Midge with her pregnant belly as a figure here. Retro Dolls turned into figures could be released here. They could officially  release a Barbenheimer figure. Basically Barbie dressed as Oppenheimer with a Nuke base/stand

 that has Barbie saying: "I am Become Death, destroyer of worlds!"

Playsets:

Barbie Dreamhouses:

Something Inspired by the mostly cardboard dreamhouse from The 60s could be sold as a playset for basic figures. Maybe with a bit more plastic. They could be a studio apartment series. You get some basic furniture pieces (plastic) plastic supports with door(plastic) and various inner and outer walls. Buy multiples and place on actual shelves and you got a Barbie Apartment building... (hint: Barbie × Friends crossover)

For the Elite, you get the more elaborate Plastic Dreamhouses. The townhouses would crosspollinate with various Toylines not just Mattel's. These could be the equivalent of a Barbie Grayskull.

Personally I'd have Skipper driving the VW with Barbie.The expressipns of Skipper and Barbie would be the differences outside the car color. 

For the camper I want to have one of the recolors to have a retro vibe with younger versions of Barbie's parents. A Skipper aged Barbie and  kid aged Skipper.

If not figures, get into the Diorama game. Super action stuff, to name a company, does props for figures. 

Extreme Sets does cool stuff, but it's cardboard... I need more plastic in my diorama.

I wanna say 1/10 vehicle model kits, but that might be expensive... like nearly $300 per vehicle expensive. That's why we need a big toy company like Mattel, Hasbro, or even Playmates to step up. 

Seriously Playmates, now that you're turtleless, maybe try generic dioramas/playsets and vehicles

While yeah, the trailer seems to be "generic" and may hint that He-Man may not be too much in it. It made me feel genuinely excited for a Masters of the Universe movie... which trailers are supposed to do.

 A 3 figure wave. Not too bad considering Super7's latest price hike thanks to Tariff Man.

T-Ray comes with the most stuff. But at $65 we shouldn't have the Super7 little dick energy buy the whole wave through us to get an alternare head without the breathing mask. Also, he needs dramatic expression hands.

Mako is a glorified Deluxe figure. No actual c-grips? $65 feels a bit of a rip-off.

At least Octavia feels more Justified and less rip-off.

Will I get them? If these were $45, I wouldn't blink. But at $65 and no other pay in 4 option other tha. Shop, which doesn't work in Puerto Rico means I may have to skip these.

Odds and ends Super7, erotic statuettes, and stuff.

 It's not secret that I'm getting Erotic 3D Pronted statues for my action figures. We saw: Prom Night Seductress and Valkyrie figures.

Well, I've ordered some more.

-A "Swimsuit Fighter" which is SFV Cammy.

These will be mostly Diorama pieces to share between Nefty and Nick R. Cade... and his dad.

So, the reason I mention these is that Fan Art knows no bounds.

.While mockman was a really good figure that I ended up repainting to make it more icky, the glowing dark variant being in white plastic, made him perfect for calm jokes, and that's why he's really high on my list.

He's just Batman... And really big, that's why he is on the list. Surprise That super 7 never made any wing nut variants based on other Batman colors...

5: Ace Duck:

Yes he's unfortunately smaller than turtles.He had a few issues with their hands connecting on the arm. Everybody knows I got him because of Shenmue references.

Despite mine having a small issue, he's an amazing figure. PERIOD.

While super 7 did nothing remarkable with the figure, it was a very solid figure...

Like most of the older waves there were very few noteworthy upgrades. Painted weapons was huge. Honestly I wish they had used Wacky Action heads for alternates.

Movie TMNT have a relationship with Klassic Mortal Kombat.

Only Raiden and Sonya are the only MK1 characters who don't have adirect relationship with MOVIE TMNT... and even the OG MK movie had some involvement with TMNT... Movie Liu Kang's brother was A Turtle stunt double. 

Kano and Johnny Cage (who also was the MK Ninjas) were foot Ninja, while Liu Kang and Kung Lao were Turtles. Holy shitballs!

On action figures bodies and customs..

 I wish more companies were in the 1:10 or at least 1:11 scale to work as an in-between for 1:12 and 1:10 like Wrestling figures.

Problem is that most figures are Asian 1:12 which is smaller than American 1:12. Then there is the head dilemma... American heads rarely fit Japanese bodies and viceversa.

I ended using Tetas grandes for Irma. The Arcueid skirt should fit if I pop off her torso and slip it in. Will get a smaller and tighter sweater during the year.

I wish FTC made a white skinned female figure wearing a skirt and the open toe shoes... that way I could leg swap and repaint to fix Tiffany.

Head I intend to use. Sadly, it's up to my shaky hands to paint. Won't look as good but fuck it.

Colors look better in person. But that's Channel 6 related people done... except Vernon. I had to glue the necklace.

FTC bodies aren't the best for custom heads.

Vernon is still a mystery... 

But back on topic. 

1/12 scale is ALL OVER the place. That is a problem... especially in the Western figures. Playmates 1/12 is smaller than Mattel's 1/12 Hasbro's 1/12 is smaller than Mattel's and despite being 1/10, Mattel swears that MOTUC was 1/12.

We need more 1/12 scale bodies. Clothed, nude, spandex, anatomically correct, etc. And as much as it pains me: Soft goods clothes are a necessity... 

I hope bigger companies could give us civilians even if they were Mattel Creations or Hasbro Pulse exclusives. I cannot keep using celebrities as random civilians. 

A WWE Scale, MOTU Origins styled Mix and match line could work for civilians. A sort of Rebirth of the Create a Superstar.

For example:

Businessman...

Soft goods blazer:

Figure would pop off at the neck (both at head level and torso level. For swapping parts among ethnicities without causeing artificial vitiligo)

Torso would pop at the waist and thighs. (For using said crotch for shorts)

Lower legs should pop off at sock level. Folks with long pants should have the pant pop off as well and swappable. (Ie, swap the lower leg from business socks and shoes to bare lower leg and slippers. The pant piece pops in place and the pants keep full length.)

The figure would be a 2 pack...

4 Heads: 2 Caucasian 2 black.

2 Torsos: business shirt with tie, business shirt with Suspenders. (Tie shirt is white, suspender shirt is blue.)

4 sets of arms:

Long sleeves and rolled up.

2 crotch and legs:

Slacks, Jeans

Interchangeable lower leg/feet Sneakers and Business shoes

Various hands for both ethnicities.

1 soft goods blazer

1 soft goods sweater.

The idea is to cover bodies that can also crosspollinate with WWE.

Hasbro could take the GI Joe Classified Cop and Fireman and repaint and re-release then under their own IP... Servicemen or something. Add Postal Worker, Line Workers... other servicemen who could get in trouble with Superhero stuff.

I've already mentioned many ways FTC could expand their lines. I will state that we need bare bucks... and heads. Brown hands... and some hands in Orange.

But while some companies have done some helpful things for civilian figures... we are way behind in the game, since many custom fodder figures are at import prices and they're insane.

I got an incomplete Burne for cheap, which I'll repaint to make it more fitting with S7.

I am working on a Female Tiffany using FTC bodies and custom heads.

Unlike Burne. I CAN'T use a NECA Vernon. Sadly, Skull and Beastie Boys figures aren't compatible. Still figuring that one out.

Neutrinos are deader than my Mom. Thunder kittens are too small and  Hreir hairstyles are a hassle.

 It's just the figures toy company merch stand playset. I still stand for the most part on my rank that it can be improved. Right out of the path, I gotta say that I'm pleasantly surprised that the 2D back dropped.It's not paper it's vinyl. At\nThe same time i'm disappointed that it's fine all because painted by usually builds off easily and it does when I was putting the rods in per instructions.

Shorts, a little bit on the back, but if that's scratched off the front could scratch off as well, I'm just\nPointing it out so you can be careful if you get one.

I'm not gonna Lie The set looks good even with the 2D backdrop.But I definitely wish it was 3D.

The set includes the background, the frame to keep the background up, 2 breakable tables, one huge tablecloth to cover the tables, two sets of sculpted plastic shirts, and the seller. The seller has 3 extra hands.

The tables break, but they don't break easily.

Seller: Hey, I'm selling these 1:2 scale statues for cheap. This one is flaming seductress, the other one will is Valkyrie resting over the Midgarsormr.

 With Playmates losing TMNT and figuring out the rat race for the new owner, Super7 being in limbo with lots of their lines I'm interested in... TMNT, D&D, GI Joe... OK, it's just 3. NECA is slowly pushing me away with their target exclusives. Mattel only has my interest with thw few She-Ra releases... would've liked to see a New Eternia Adam though.

Marvel Legends are losing me due to price increases. Barely buying a figure or two and that too will end soon.

McFarlane has nothing to grab my interest...

So that leaves JADA and Figures Toy Company. But the title of the rant is Figures Toy Company related.

I did not. Now I know... and knowing is half the battle. 

All they need is new heads.

They have the body: Male Wrestler Announcer

They have the hands: Cop hands (for gun usage)

They have the gun: Police officer

All they need is heads. Easy peasy. They can make 2 Agent bodies. Pale and dark skinned. Then toss in a headache for other agents.

They COULD Make a female Secret Service Agent Reusing the legs of the ref, with new Torso and arms. That also gives us parts for a pantsuit body for female presidential candidates. Not ginna lie but I might buy a Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin figures.

Speaking of law enforcement: Security guards and the fat bodies:

I keep mentioning this one because it makes sense. We knownthe fat cop stereotype and same for the Security guard. You can have the fancier pseudo police look that some Mall cops have or the more casual "runner" look with the polos.

One of the fat Security guards could be sold with a vehicle like this... just make sure it isn't a 1:1 copy of Paul Blart. Then FTC could sell vehicle variants like they did with the podium.

I mentioned this... has nothing to do with having former classmates and other friends being female members in law enforcement. Also, we need black and brown cops...

More fans/Civilians/Crew

Female EMTs come to mind... followed by EMTs with Melanin... for the crew. Fans I've mentioned fat kids, fat women long sleeves and long pants for the fat men and children. MORE torso overlays for women and men. Adding more melanin to the mix of characters... especially for the fat folks, men and children.

The merch stations could use other employees. And Nerdy guys would fit in.

Criminals

I've mentioned these a few times... we can't have Hunter be the sole criminal. We could use some more folks. And introduce the shorts for the men and sleeveless arms. 

Create-a-Superstar

It's time for FTC to retire the old Jakks based bodies and bring forth new Wrestling bodies compatible with the Ultimate lines by... themselves. I touched upon this in the past. They have some parts ready, just getting new to the mix so they can combine to make other wrestlers. It can also allow them to sell existing bodies based on their lines. This could open up for "unoffical" releases. Like say more black people faces, with black Announcer, EMT, Security guard, etc. Hell, alternate expressions for the fan characters could be put here.

Other small playsets

We got the vendor set the media scrum set. Maybe they could try their hand at backstage and other type of small playsets, not necessarily exclusive for wrestlers. Their Law Enforcement line allows for city areas and such.

While I don't like this idea, they can go the Jakks way with cardboard and plastic for them.

Expand the politician line.

I said it before and say it again. We need more than Trump.

Conclusion 

Figures Toy Company has improved, but they can do better. Hopefully they can expand and make OK figures that are accessible.

Articulation:

These are ny new MOTUC, as it's same buck different head, different paint.

The figure has OK articulation. His fat body has some Articulation restrictions that slimmer figures lack. The arms require double jointed elbows to reach the 90° angle that a single joint elbow does on a slim figure. Legs fare a bit better though, but it can be a bitch to get the lower half of the knee going. There are no ankle rockers.

Minimal, everything seems to be molded in the proper color. The important thing is the head which has a somewhat deranged look and he has this overgrown leprechaun vibe to him. He even has a glint in his eyes, which saved me some repainting.

Overall:

His final score is 4.33 which is decent. He's not perfect but he's good enough. Makes me wish we had a criminals line though.

First dud in FTC's Lines an It Came from the Toy Chest bummer.

 I am saddened by this.

You were the chosen one! You were supposed to replace McFarlane pew pews! Not make me yearn for him!

Unfortunately, my set came incomplete, missing one of the handguns. Luckily I had a revolver that I bought for a previous figure, and I can use it on the police officer. 

The utility belts cannot be unhooked since they are solid piece. Fortunately, they slip in easily on the male body. 

But as you can see, the gun fits the cop with the trigger hand and in the holster.holster.

You noticed the referee head on the cop body right?

Unfortunately, the helmets are a bit on the smaller side, and I had to heat it up to kinda make it fit.. They can be used as diorama pieces, but as actual helmets, they kind of suck.

Look! The armor actually fits female figures! Wait, you want to see them on a policeman?

I won't risk ruining the figure, trying to put the armor on.I heated it up, but I feel like if I heat it up anymore.It will deform or break.

The guns work though... Guess I'll just stick to buying the weapons separately.
