How I would do a theoretical Kids line for Mattel's TMNT.

 I said in an earlier rant that I would tackle a hypothetical TMNT Line for kids inspired by MOTU Origins.

The figures would be like MOTU origins woth modular parts. They would be a Mirage/Fred Wolf hybrid as we're trying to act as this is a what if Mattel had done TMNT IN THE 80S line.

The Turtles would be similar to the playmates turtles as in each tuetle would have different shades of green and the colored headbands. The pads and belts would be brown. Michelangelo's nunchucks would use real string.

Shredder would have sculpted tunic with soft goods cape. The only real difference from Playmates would be a removable helmet.

Splinter would get a more anthropomorphic headsculpt and cloth robe.

Casey would get a removable mask.

There would be Weapons packs with color coded weapons.

Let's talk Playsets as here is where we're going to differ a lot from Playmates.

The First Playset would be the Technodrome. I don't see how it could be made too different from Playmates.

The second Playset would be the Sewer Playset... Like the MOTU playsets, this one would be a clamshell playset.

The bottom level would be the actual lair and the upper level would be two small buildings. (Point dread styled expansions sold separately.)

The first of the buildings would be cartoon Baxter's workshop. The other building is Second Time Around Antique shop. (Comes with exclusive human Baxter)

The expansions would be April's apartment and Casey's Apartment. (Expansions come with Perm April, and Unmasked Casey)

The Third Playset would be Channel 6 Building. The tallest on ots own playset AND it has an expansion (Burne's office, comes with Tiffany figure)

The lower level is more sewer, the second floor is Reception and the broadcast room. (Falling studio lights feature)Third floor is April and Vernon's offices, newsroom (with lenticular tv screens) and Utility closet. The elevator hits all floors and Roof (or Burne's office when adding the expansion with defenestration feature) comes with exclusive Irma figure 

The Fourth Playset is Ninja Pizza and the Rat King's Domain. The lower level, Rat King's domain is mostly a display piece full with sculpted mounds of rats with a throne for the Rat king. Comes with Exclusive Pizzaiolo Pizzaface (green shirt, teal hat)

But Mattel would release a Movie Sub-Line based on both 90s movies:

Sewer Lair:

A Redeco  of the toon/toy playset. Making the stockman half April's sequel apartment.(includes Danny Pennington as the figure) 

FOOT Warehouse; 

New playset with play features like skate ramp and collapsible options (feature Tatsu)

Northampton Farm:

This one would be mostly a display piece but Astral Splinter would be the figure added.

New Subway Lair;

Based on the SOTO and TIT. (Paige Turco styled April would be the figure) Top could be the TGRI lab from the second movie

FOOT Junkyard. This would be Vintage Fright zone styled playset with a crane, sewer hole, tire piles, collapsible cages. Professor Perry would be the figure.

Pier Warehouse:

A redeco of the FOOT Warehouse with some SOTO elements and a breakaway pier for super Shredder
