Ch'rell, the Utrom Shredder... in Ultimates format...

This figure is special.

Let's explain:

This is an Utrom Android Body whose identity wasbased on Japanese legend, the one of the Original Oroku Saki.

Now in modern day Earth, Ch'rell acts as the leader of the Foot.

This is the human form from the lost season?Will Super7  make this or go for the meh Tengu Shredder from Back to the Sewers?

I'd rather have this one... IF We get a Shredder variant.

Articulation:

The improved articulation is a decent improvement over the Classic styled figures.

Honestly I'm a bit worried about his tasset and shoulder blades. They are so soft that they could tear off

Paint and sculpt:

The sculpt is pretty decent. Mine has a QC issue:

Thehelmer got bent out of shape while packaged. NEED TO BLOW DRY IT AND COLD SHOCK IT...

What the actual fuck is that horribly stitched sash! Also, why are the colors so flat?

I ended up dry brushing some metallic paints on the weapons and helmet to make him pop.

I kinda get they're going for a toon esthetic, but  even silverhawks had metallic paintwork on the "toon styled" toys.

At $55 he should come with more stuff.

Also, metallic paints, people!! Or give it an actual shading to make it look metallic.

A slightly smaller version of this head would be great for classic Shredder.

Overall:

2k3 Shredder gets a 4.17 as his final score. He's OK... just feels like they're HORRIBLY cutting corners. He may be big, but that doesn't excuse the cut corners... now I need to get flower wire and an old Grey shirt to make a better sash.
