It came from the Toy Chest: Mike may be the Last Ronin, but Leonardo is the First

 

Nomad Leo is a Kyle Original. It's basically Leo running around on his own for so long that his normal TMNT outfit got fucked up and he made a makeshift one and here we have The first Ronin:

Articulation 

Leonardo has standard articulation, though his joints are a bit of a bitch to move.

Leo: Messatsu!

Legs are serviceable but at the verge of flopping.

Paint and sculpt

Close enough to OG Leo, but not close enough to pass. At least the heads are compatible. Sadly, the same cannot be said with the sewer samurai. I wanted to use the straw hat head from this figure and the cloak on the sewer samurai body and and use the Rat King flute to make a Turtle of Tsushima. The Sewer Samurai neck peg is too goddamned big! Other than that, this figure is essentially a redeco of the standard Leonardo with new belts and pads... and the Geta sandals.

I wanted to do this on the Sewer Samurai body for a Ghost of Tsushima reference, but Super7 screwed the pooch by giving Sewer Samurai Leo a Freakishly Large peg. 

Overall

Leonardo the Ronin gets a 3.83 as his final score. The lack of accessories really hurt the figure. The fact that his skintone doesn't match OG Leo is sinful, but the worst part is that I can't use sewer Samurai parts on him and vice-versa.
