Technically he should be: Spider-Man: Richards Nanotech suit. But it's the suit used in the Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon. With Rino Romano as Peter Parker and Jennifer Hale as Mary Jane... wait wait wait...
OK then, that explains so much. I like Romano, but I'm more of a Chris Barnes and Sarah Ballantine for Pete and MJ. I prefer Hale as Black Cat and Romano... I'll save that reference for later.Articulation:
Technically, it's the same articulation as pizza Spider-Man. But the new shorter crotch limits the leg articulation.
As you can see the Marvel versus Capcom stance Cannot be properly achieved due to the crotch articulation. The ab crunch has a decent range, but not enough either. The web yoyo pose can be achieved. The Spidey landing pose not so much.( it requires some posing trickery that looks bad due to his two color leg pattern)4.0
Paint and sculpt:
Aside the leg two color pattern and the red stripe on his arms, EVERYTHING ELSE is sculpted and painted. The cape is fixed so it can't be posed.
4.5
Accessories:
Web slinging hands
Wall crawling hands
We got screwed out of accessories despite this being a non-BAF wave. We could've gotten one of the generic web effects that Hasbro already had, but no. Hell an Unlimited Parker head would've been cool, but no.
3.0
Overall:
Spider-Man Unlimited gets a 3.83 as his final score. This is an example of One Step Forward and Two Steps Back. It's a nice figure but the articulation hiccups and lack of accessories prevent it from achieving Greatness.

Spidey: I see the Lord Equipped his Daughter-in-law with Ballistics too! Nun: How Rude! |
Before you ask, yes, that Nun has an Ashley Graham head. Sadly, it's ReMake Ashley and not Real Ashley, but I needed AN Ashley to make the Ballistics reference... because Spider-Man Ulimited is OG Luis Sera.
In any case I will be back later tonight to bitch and moan about the Walmart Collector Con. Having Vietnam flashbacks about the Wrekkin Stone Cold Monster Truck.
