Space, the final frontier. I don't think Super 7 will be able to make Star Trek Turtles. It's space cadet Raphael. The third of the four disguised turtles wave, we've already seen Sewer Samurai Leonardo and Sewer Surfing Michelangelo. The only one missing is Donatello the undercover turtle which hasn't been made yet.
I honestly don't understand why is Raphael the one in the space suit when the most likely Turtle to be an astronaut is Donatello. In any case the figure is here to figure is now let's review.
Articulation:
In theory he has the same articulation as other Turtle figures. Sadly, the sculpting blocks a lot of it. The arms are the biggest offenders. First we have the elbows which have the elbow pads and these block the articulation. Then we have the shoulders where the black seals between the Torso and arms block the articulation once more. But wait, there's more! The bicep caught on the figure is extremely tight and doesn't have a decent range of articulation.
On the other hand the leg articulation is fantastic! The joints are reasonably tight and have a decent range of articulation unlike a certain Samurai whose name shall not be mentioned that is incredibly loose in the legs.

Paint and sculpt:
The sculpting on this figure is fantastic! It is rather close to the Vintage figure but it's not a one-to-one translation. I suppose this has to do with the whole Playmates Toys being a little bitch! The gauges and other thing I'm above on his torso are very similar to Vintage but in different colors. I do not know if he has a temple graph or if it's a sticker. Honestly though, for a $55 figure, it should have been sculpted and painted on. If it's a sticker it's a giant ripoff! I'm 98% sure it's a tampo. The paint work on the figure is rather decent I have no complaints there other than the possibility of the chest stuff being a sticker. The wrist communicator with Fugitoid is a nice touch.

Accessories:
He gets the Vintage space knife and the blaster now the cable that connects the Blaster to the spacesuit is in a different color. The goggles and communicator on the Vintage figure are now removable accessory. He gets the bubble Dome, also a new alternate head that looks very Star Wars like. He gets new space suit hands anda pair of sai that behave like lightsabers. Unfortunately you cannot have the lightsabers turned off. The Little Octopus alien on the back of the figure was made into a little buddy.
5.0
Overall:
I was the most excited for this figure, but unfortunately, the articulation issues, the paint issues, and my tiny Nitpicks regarding the accessories have lessened the experience for me. But it's one of the turtles I had as a kid so nostalgia win?
This figure should've been much better than a 3.83 but it is what it is.
