Out of Wave items and variants... a Super7 rant.

Right now the only way to catch up with Super7 product is to pray that they do reissues like TMNT wave 1 or select Thundercats releases like Lion-O, Panthro and Mumm-Ra the Everliving. If you missed out on these, then you're shit out of luck. With TMNT wave 5 looming and being the first Turtle-free wave, one must think: how to Rerelease Turtle variants "worthy enough" that people who have the original releases might be interested on these.

I mentioned Mirage redecos for 2024, but we all know what made most people tmnt fans...

Well, think about it: The Vintage line HAD a set of Toon Turtles.

So, we could get some figures revisited and tweaked in honor of the Toon:
Now to make this release special and not devalue the original releases, I'm going to suggest 2 8-packs to cover "the essentials". These would be released as "large items" like the Thundertank or Snake Mountain with a decent window to order:

Pack 1:
Leonardo
Donatello
Splinter
April
Shredder
Baxter Stockman
Rocksteady
General Traag*

Pack 2:
Raphael
Michelangelo
Casey Jones
Bebop
Slash*
Foot Soldier (x2)
Krang (bubble walker)*

I know you're seeing a few red flags: Namely the ones with * next to their names.
These COULD be first releases who could come out later in toy colors. For example, Traag could only come with a single weapon, say, the rifle and no extra hands. (The extra hands and weapons would be saved for the Toy version) Slash would have 2 Leo Katanas in Palm tree colors. While the Toy version gets the proper toy accesssories.

Now for the existing characters:
They would have less accessories than their normal releases.
Leonardo:
Set of hands
2 katana
Repainted "vintage head"
Extra head based on the Toon Leonardo toy with swappable eyes.
Donatello:
Set of hands
Bo staff
Boxed pizza with slices.
Extra head with spinning bandana based on the toon Don toy
Raphael:
Set of hands
Pair of Sai
Extra head with plug on motion effect based on the toon Raph toy.
Mike:
Set of hands
Pair of nunchaku
Turtle grappling hook with 13 inches or cord.
Toon mike head with lomg tongue.
April:
Set of hands
Camera
Microphone
Splinter:
Set of hands
Cane
Shredder
Set of hands
Katana
Oroku Saki unmasked head.
Baxter:
Set of hands
2 mousers
Rocksteady:
Set of hands
Knife
Rifle
Traag:
Rifle
Foot Soldiers:
Set of hands
Katana, Bo, nunchaku
Slash:
Dual katanas
Krang:
Bubble walker
Casey:
Bats
golf club
Golf bag

The idea is to deliver mostly bare bones versions of the characters in some cases slight redecos, in others some new sculpts.
Also, I avoided some of the "more obscure" folks in order to make this more appealing to less hardcore fans. With the Turtle variants, I picked variants that were "close enough" to the original designs. I could've gone with Undercover Don, Leo the Sewer Samurai, Mike the Sewer Surfer, and Raph the Space Cadet.

Characters like April would have minimal differences between Toy Version and Toon version... lighter hair color, less paint apps on suit. Others would have very obvious differences like Shredder or Rocksteady.
