The Rocky Remake of Big Trouble in Little China and other stuff...

I can smell Trouble...

I know BTiLCh has a huge cult following, but seeing the trend of recent remakes of 80s movies and dumbing them down to fit into 2010s PG-13 seeing as many of the originals were 1980s PG-13 and R. (An R back then was the same to a NC-17 today. a Hard PG-13 back then would be a soft R today.) Not to mention the Tons of CGI effects, or how Politically Correct America would react to a movie where Asians are portrayed as Mysterious and Magical...

Maybe THIS will be the successful remake that Hollywood People are looking for...
Or not if we follow the reactions to this bit of news.

This is almost as bad as say a Remake of The Room. Replace Tommy Wiseau with McLovin'... I mean Christopher Mintz-Plasse... Had to google his name, but you get the idea...

In other news, Emily Osment and Haley Joel Osment are two different people... For the first time Ever*, here's an unaltered pic of them at the same place at the same time...

*not really the first time ever, but it's the only pic of them I've seen as adults.

Now I'm posting this because remakes, race or genderbending, which is a completely sensible way to move on to the REAL next bit of news...

We all know that Marvel is working on a Doctor Strange movie, something something, Dr. Stephen Benedict Cumberbatch Strange... Well, Let's do a recap on WHO IS Doctor Strange:

Dr. Stephen Strange, Neurosurgeon. Lost his ability to a car accident. Trying to find a cure he reaches The Ancient One in the Himalayas. This wise old Asian man will be played by the following Asian Male Actor: Tilda Swinton.

OK, so a role meant for an Asian Male Actor is given (if the negotiations go through) to a WHITE Female Actor... I'm sorry SJWs, but you can't have it both ways. You want more minorities in comic book movies, but you can't say that you're glad that a WHITE WOMAN is getting the Role that is meant for an Asian...
Why not give the role of the Ancient One to an ASIAN WOMAN if they wanted to go the genderbending way?
