Adding Non-Vintage line characters to fill up some spots is not a bad idea... As long as the character are worthwhile and the "classicizer" is working well. For example, classicizing 2012 April can't be Ultimates April with a new head nor make a 100% Toon Accurate 2012 April. (That's a different line.)
Now this brings me to the case of Lotus Blossom, Aska, and Human Jennika. Having Ninja April and Karai in hand has been an Eye opening experience. I'll try to milk as much as I can from those molds.
Aska:

It's not 100% accurate, but hear me out. The "Karai armor" is a substitute for her fishnet over swimsuit, because Americans can find fishnets suggestive. Without the fishnets I can have a slightly more open gi top making Aska more accurate from a different perspective.
The feet are another compromise to avoid making a new boot that may hinder articulation.
I'm trying to avoid painted clothes to cut corners on sculpt like other people do. Not saying any names but it's pretty much everyone who has done Superhero and Wrestling figures...

Lotus Blossom:
I know she's like a Proto-Karai. She will share parts with Karai. Also, will NOT be close to cartoon accuracy, since we're in Super7 "milking molds" mode.

Since Aska, Theoretically exists for the purposes of this rant, I chose to reuse her gloved hands to differentiate this Lotus from NECA, thus preserving the amicable agreement between S7 and NECA. This Lotus would be wearing a unitard under her Ninja Outfit and this effect can be achieve by painting the skin under the gi in grey. (The neckline is achieved by the heads.)

OK, Jennika has 2 looks. Foot assassin and "normal" looks.
The new biceps are meant to have bandages.
The crotch should have a wider sash and loops for her weapons. The slip on pieces are to switch between looks. The neck overlay for the assassin mask and the armgiards for the normal look.
The assassin gauntlets are made as hands, since slip on pieces over normal hands would be too much work.

That's it we're done with Human Kunoichi, but let's tackle the terrapins in the room:
Venus:
Venus will be the base of the Female Turtle Body. It should be slightly shorter and Slimmer than the male turtles. Think SH Figuarts Sized next to the S7 Turtles.
There should be some "classicizer" tweaks done to her to fit the vintage line than being 100% accurate. The Plastron design should be "closer to vintage" with 6 Sections instead the "Human body" mimicry from the show. The body would have no pads, but symmetrical shin guards (with boot cut) and wristbands. The shell would be designed for a belt or overlay.
Now let's deal with Venus herself:
She gets slip on Tygra styled Elbowpads with the yin yang on them. She'd get a traditional styled belt (black belt with initialed buckle) with a loop for her dao.
For heads she gets neutral and angry heads.

Turtle Jennika:
Here we go with a couple of different parts.

FINE! I'll do Turtle April. Again, she won't be 100% accurate since she'sreusong the Venus buck, as she would have if made in the vintage line.

Now, I think I'm done... but think about it: aren't these better than Cromagnon Casey, Tomb Raiding Irma (yes, it's Irma dressed as Lara Croft with a blue tanktop and purple shorts), Bubble go-kart Krang, Ballet Triceraton, and Aikido Rat King? I'd rather have new characters and "canonical variants" over cat burglar Bebop.
