They look fine, especially the segmented tail for yes-man. Pokerface is missing his neon rose. Copper Kidd's bird is not a whistle. Las time I tried pre-ordering from Super7 I got told that they will no longer use USPS for pre-ordering, therefore I'll only get Yes-Man from BBTS. There's no way I'm paying $110+ for shipping. To put things in perspective. I paid $80 shipping for Snake Mountain.

Melodia never had a figure back in the day. This is the very first Melodia figure ever... at an official capacity. The only female member of the mob and the evil counterpart to Bluegrass. Possible inspiration to Lady Gaga.

Melodia gets a 3.83 as her final score. I'm gonna be the one who says it. The paint job and the articulation really hurt hurt her.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, GI Joe, Karate Kod, now He-Man and the Masters of the Universe have entered the 2D Beat-em' up game.
Transformers have the 3D Run and gun games like War for Cybertron and Devastation. But there are other properties tbar could work on this genre:
Let's start with the obvious one:
Thundercats:
Decent sized cast with plenty of enemies, especially various generic mutants. There are plenty of enemies for a basic game, additional enemies for DLC and sequels.
Characters like Willa, Hachiman, and thr Snowman as DLC. No, SUGGESTING A BLACK SCREEN LYNX-O MODE, would be a dick move.
Silverhawks:
This one sounds like is perfect for a beat-em'up, but the Mob lacks generic members for it to work as a beat-em up. The game should be mostly a clone of this:
Where the Silverhawks chase down Mob members then once they disable the getaway vehicle, the game turns into a brawler where the Silverhawks have to fight one of the members of the mob.
Tigersharks:
I vaguely remember the show, but it would probably feel like an underwater reskin of Silverhawks.
But it could be made different by perhaps making it a half 2D side-scroller half beat-em'up game.

I Vaguely remember the show. Mostly the theme song.

The Old SEGA Genesis game was good. But there was no love for the rest of the Manhattan clan.
A Beat-em'up! Game with flying elements.
Captain Planet and the Planeteers:
The game would be a standard beat-em'up! starring the Planeteers. Captain Planet is not playable. Period. Captain Planet would be the finishing move for each boss. The caveat is that the more players playing co-op , the less Energy you need to charge to summon Captain Planet.
You're soloing it as Ma-Ti: you'll need 5 Super charges to summon Captain Planet.
Playing with 3 Planeteers? A little bit over 1.5 super bars is all you need.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:

Lame. Given the whole Vac Metal easily flaking off figures, a smart purchase this is not, adding the higher costs of vac metal plus tariffs to Super7's already high prices with hot or miss QC. Despite all that, I still support them. Says a lot about me, doesn't it?
But yeah, this is the THIRD powered up Mon*Star released. By Super7.
Problem is that these constant repaints redecos make it seem like the writing's on the wall for Ultimates! I HOPE we get good news with "the con" this weekend. Was it this year or 2028 when SDCC dies? I keep forgetting.
Copper Kidd... My Mom used to have a crude remark when I mentioned El Niño de Cobre. Mainly because she mocked the Mentor/Mentee Relationship between Bluegrass and CK. Gay Cowboy taking a minority child under his wing... you get the idea. "El Niño de Cobre y que
del culo le sobre." Holy shit, I just realized it's even worse! But let's not dwell in crass comments that flew over my head when I was 4-5 years old. Or how much my Mom hated Copper Kidd's bird companion.

Articulation:
The Kidd has Nirmal Ultimates articulation on paper. Legs only move sideways less than 45°
Like the previously reviewed Silverhawks, CK is toon based. The sculpt is pretty accurate, while the paintwork is really lacking. Something about the wing sculpt in the alternate arms bugs me. They look like two left wings, but the arm sculpt is accurate.

The Silverhawks back when they had no metal but were real... would that prolong the line, or will the $55 price tag that could potentially increase scare off customers... that is the question. Or will Seymour and Zeke save the day, if you know what I mean?
Only time will tell. Guess 2025 is where the next Silverhawks wave is at.
That is also a problem, since the last wave was a repaint. When there are these huge gaps among waves, people become disillusioned. Me, personally, after getting Copper Kidd, it's Melodia and I'm out. Maybe getting Hardware to more or less have a semi rounded Mob. (I have a Windhammer and a Buzzsaw whose right arm keeps falling off.)

Specifically PayPal pay in 4 since ShopPay apparebtly doesn't work in Puerto Rico or doesn't recognize my cards/address.

The Silverhawks are $65 each, Mon*Star is still $85 and Buzzsaw is $65... there is no explanation on why Buzzsaw is $65, since he has no Vac Metal.
The incentive confuses me. It seems that 3 out of 4 heads are repaints?

He has standard Silverhawks Ultimates articulation. His loincloth? or PUEBES! He has decent range but his head is a smidge heavy. This makes him a bit prone to fall if arched back a bit too much.

He looks like Mon*Star and has shading that mimics the cartoon cel shaded look without going full cel shading on a figure. His sculpting is really great I'll be it a bit painful because the spikes and hair on him are made of a rather harder plastic and they kind of hurt. Sadly his second head had his teeth badly painted.

Don't let his size fool you, he is as posable as a standard size figure. Sadly, mine has weak ankles and he's prone to falling. Okay, I may have lied a little bit, because the shoulders are a bit hindered by the shoulder pads.

The sculpting on this figure is flawless. It totally captures the essence of the character. While he's molded in mostly the appropriate color there are a few areas that have the appropriate painting touches my issue lies at the colors aren't exactly just as I remember. For some reason he is less orange than what I remember. The brighter Reds are more on the reddish side than the orange just like the dark Reds. I suppose these slight changes are based on the actual cel animation and not what was transmitted on TV. It's not a big issue, but TO ME it's a bit jarring.

Well, depowered Mon*Star gets a final score of 4.67, which is pretty good. It sucks that one of his head had messed up teeth, but at elast it wasn't the screaming head... Now let's tackle the big guy. He gets a score of 4.5 which is good. It's the top heaviness and weak ankles what stopped him from scoring higher... guess I'll drop the Vac Metal bad news here: vac Metal will raise the prices of the figures from $55 to $65-$75... suddenly my head is screaming: Fuck Vac Metal... that shit is gonna flake off, though a Vac Metal Shredder would be badass. Can you make up my mind?

I'm NOT against this playset. To be honest, I'm sad that I can't afford it at the moment with greater responsibilities that I have to take care of... no point for toys if I'm dead/unemployed/homeless/etc. With that said, the early backer reward for reaching 3000 units sold by Sunday July 30th is kinda lame. A life-sized key of Thundera? But that's the least lame reward... if they sell 4000 preorders we get a lab table (for Tygra?) And A DAGGER MODE SWORD OF OMENS AND RESTING CLAW SHIELD!!

A part of me WISHES that the Silverhawks we got looked like this but with the toon elements.

Who the fuck is Syndicate Collectibles? Well, remember SOTA Toys? Well, Jerry Macaluso, who competed in Sci-Fi Channel's Face Off season 2 is the guy behind SOTA and now Syndicate Collectibles. Hopefully he learned of the mistakes in the latter Street Fighter waves by SOTA and that his Syndicate Collectibles figures don't end up being crap that disintegrates by looking at it wrong.
Their figures will be in 1:12, 1:10, and 1:18 scale... the latter will be competing against Super7 ReAction figures.
I'm hoping that Double Dragon is in 1:12 scale. Nope! It's 1:10... not compatible with Jada's SF or Premium DNA's Battletoads line.
Bloodsport I can take in 1:12 or 1:10... preferably 1:10
But True Romance is the weirdest choice for a toyline... I know that this is mimicking NECA and Diamond Select's Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction lines, but I'd take an Alabama figure or 2 depending on price in 1:10 scale... if you're thinking that I want random hookers, then you'd be correct.
