Resources being pulled to things that Hardcore Action Figure Collectors could deem as crap. A life size or close to life size cardboard Skeletor wall decoration is a nifty item, but I'm not feeling like THIS is something that Super7 should be doing. This seems more like Hallmark's alley. At least it's not Baby Skeletor...
I can definitely see where you’re coming from here. Novelty items like a life-size Skeletor decoration might be fun for Halloween or casual fans, but I understand the concern that they could take attention away from the core figures that serious collectors are really waiting for. Super7 has done some great work with the MOTU line, so hopefully things like this are just side projects and not a shift in focus. It’ll be interesting to see whether they keep prioritizing the figures that built their reputation with collectors in the first place.
