Master License holder is rereleasing crap because they need to in order to retain the license. I am referring to TMNT stuff getting rereleased by Playmates... this time it's not 1990s figures.
Yes, it's the same TMNT that Playmates has rereleased with slight redecos throughout the years. We get the same Shredder and Triceraton from a few years ago and some "new Turtles" same "movie Turtles" released previously but with trenchcoats, ill fitting hats, and less accessories. I won't point out that only Raphael used the trenchcoat in the 1990 movie and not Leonardo and Michelangelo.
If they're going to be this lazy and produce crap that ends up in clearance bins because no one buys them, maybe they should produce nothing. I mean, the Turtles aren'tthat bad... but the non-turtle TMNT characters aren't that great. If they put the same effort to non-turtle TMNT characters that they do to Billie Eilish, maybe more people would be interested in their TMNT offerings.
