FTC: Embracing the weirdness:
In a previous rant, I mentioned "crazy" characters.
NINJAS:
This one is self explanatory.
These would require new bodies. Specifically the bare chest and arms.
Ninjas would get wrist overlays in addition to the torso overlay. There's a myriad of color combinations that can be made. White, black, red, blue, green, yellow, etc. Sleeveless and painted sleeves options.
Ninja weapons
2 tonfa
1 ninjato
1 naginata
2 sai
2 nunchaku (string)
1 kusarigama with a kunai at the other end (string)
Kunoichi are far easier to make than men
For the females something similar to this... but obviously with a more conservative top. This can be made with new lower legs and feet and a new torso overlay for the female body. Obviously new heads and masks.Myriad of colors with heads being the defining difference... sleeved and sleeveless versions would be available.
Kunoichi weapons:
2 war fans
2 sai
2 wakizashi
1 ninjato
2 tonfa
1 naginata
Specialized Ninja hands:
-Ninja 2 finger pose.
-tekko nagi hands.
-Sai hands
Ninjitsu Armory pack:
2 Ninjato
2 Sai
2 Nunchaku (string)
1 Naginata
1 throwable shuriken effect (plugs into fan accessory left hand)
1 throwable smoke bomb effect
1 throwable kunai effect
1 Ninja Scroll
1 Ninja Substitution Log effect
Ninja headpack:
Essentially unmasked heads for the Ninja:
Revenant (an undead head)
American (Blond spiky flattop)
80s (Hair similar to 80s Sho Kosugi)
Ponytail (anime inspired long haired ninja with ponytail)
Baldie (Toshishiro Obata inspired head)
Oni (generic ninja with horns)
Kunoichi headpack:
Headband long (breast length hair tied with headband)
Headband short (similar to Sakura from Naruto)
Ponytail (inspired by the Mido Miko hairstyle above)
Odango (Sailor Moon inspired but with shoulder length tails)
Perm (80s perm hairstyle)
Short (inspired by Yuffie from FFVII)
Western:
This one requires new lower legs, feet, and in some cases new lower arms slip on piece. Blue Referee body and policeman arms do the heavy lifting. The new lower legs and feet are for the cowboy boots. Of course some could get a slip on vest. Others a bandolier with bullets/shells.
For specialized accessories:
Revolvers
Old school shotguns
The aforementioned bandoliers
Cowboy belt with holster
Plastic Lasso (looped, twirling effect)
String Lasso
Female cowgirls would need new torsos new lower legs (both referee lower legs, fan lower legs) new gunslinger hands.
Sumo:
This one only requires two dudes.... maybe 4. Most of the body parts would be new...
2 traditional Japanese Suno Wrestlers and 2 American Sumo wrestlers 1 white, 1 black. Yes, they'd all be having the Sumo Hairstyle.
Since we have Sumo Wrestlers, let's make a Fighter line:
Using the bare torso premade from the Ninja, here we have various fighters from various disciplines.
Say Boxers:
4 of them:
Slim bodies and fat bodies.
The new parts would be the boxing gloves and lower legs with the boots for the fat body. For the slim new shorts and bare legs.
Gi wearing folks:
Karate, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, etc.
The main difference between taekwondo and the japanese arts would be the torso overlay shape.
Muay Thai.
They would reuse from boxers the shorts but get new arm overlays based on Muay Thai.
Wrestlers:
The FTC Original Wrestlers could be made here... both male and female.
That's enough weirdness while keeping it SFW... No Ash from streets of rage types... no drig dealers or prostitutes...
If more companies made affordable "plays with" lines, I wouldn't have to go down this rabbit hole.

Random TMNT toy musings: a Super7 TMNTU rant
Currently, I'm not sure of the scope that Super7 has with TMNT. I know that they can deviate from the vintage line, as we saw with Guerrilla Gorilla and to an extent with Lazy Shredder variant based on an unreleased variant.
So far we have gotten figures from
The 1988-1990 waves. Since Guerrilla Gorilla is NOT Sgt. Bananas, then we haven't gotten anything from 1991 or 1992.
"BuT nEfTy, PuNkEr DoN iS a 1991 fIgUrE!"
Alright, I'll ammend my statement: We haven't gotten anything RELEVANT from 1991-1992.
On the other hand 1993 has been nearly halfway done. 1994 has Undercover Raph, from the Undercover wave, which is WAY different than Don, the Undercover Turtle...
And we don't really NEED to look beyond 1994.
Mostly, because it's dumb variant city. BUT if we NEED to look at other directions, the MOTUC and to an extent Masterverse approach should be used on TMNTU...
We kinda have 67% of a Vintage styled Dogpound. IIRC, the FourHorsemen now do Digital sculpts for the figures... if they have the files for say, Guerrilla Gorilla, that sculpt could be tweaked digitally for the new Vintagized Dogpound sculpt. The reason i mention guerilla Gorilla is because he's built in proportions that could work for Dogpound.
I traced over Guerilla Gorilla with the Cellphone equivalent of MSPaint to show how the "vintage styled proportions" could work. I know he looks friendly, but the Cellphone doesn't let me do the level of details required to do him justice.Fishface can work on a moderately to heavily modded Krang Bubble Walker. My drawing ended up being too thick because I was working around Krang. I know his legs are "too thin" but the tail should act as a sort of tripod in combination with the other two. (It should touch the ground when Fishface is squatting slightly.) Now this is the part where you say that I already have mentioned this... Which is totally true, but here's a nugget of repetition: it's better to explore new characters than odd variants like: Troll Turtles, Bandito Michelangelo, shogun Shredder etc.Folks like the two mentioned above, Hun, IDW's Jennika, Mirage's Karai, 2k3's Agent Bishop, and others are welcome additions to the line, since they can be useful to expand canon... not to mention cool toys. But I know some folks would say: Gimme Super Shredder, Pizzaface, Rat King, Traag, etc. before adding new crap! I'm KINDA with you, but at the same time, I don't want them to fully blow their loads on 1989-1991, because we're gonna miss out on some cool figures from 1993-1994.
But Pizzaface worries me with his peg leg gimmick. The Articulation and figure's weight vs the flimsy legs. My guess is that he might end up with 1 Rigid pizza cutter leg and 2 Cleavers. 1 for usage as weapon and the other to use as a leg. Also, the pizza discs... will they be vintage accurate, or will they look more pizza-like?
Sewer Surfing Mike has gone under a few changes regarding his "little critters" sculpted into his body in order to fit the articulation... I wonder if it'll be the same for Rat king, or will they do like they did for Space Cadet Raph where the critter became a "Little Buddy"?
The problem with rat king is that a lot of the sculpted rats block his articulation.
I won't discuss Traag, who by the look of things will become a possible candidate for an $85 slot... and I've done Super Shredder way too much.
Playsets are just too cost prohibitive at the moment. I could see Super7 doing a sewer playset for $600-ish. But just an upscale of the vintage set with nothing new... and let's face it, the vintage sewer playset isn't that great.
The Technodrome is a logistical nightmare. I've suggested small scaled dioramas. I'm thinking a plastic "base" with card elements attached. Kinda like some wrestling playsets... The idea is that they could vary in price, depending on what they are:
Like say, a Rooftops diorama would be interlocking plastic pieces to make parapets for 1 or 2 buildings, a combination of plastic and cardboard parts to make a rooftop access structure (non functional), chimneys, old tv antennae, reversible backdrop (night and day), maybe even some pigeons. This would be the cheapest diorama since it's mostly cardboard and a few plastic pieces.
A sewer Diorama would need a bit more plastic than the rooftop diorama. Mainly because of the pipes and the arches at each junction. Not to mention collapsible bits of wall to simulate Mousers chomping up walls.
A streets Diorama would be the most expensive set. Mostly due to the amount of props and background elements. Parking meters, fire hydrants, sewer covers, traffic cones, etc. The backdrops would be the first floor of some buildings, shops, etc. to make the streets come alive. There would be a few different types of backdrops to combine multiples as a longer diorama.
These first 3 types I described were purposely made generic, so collectors of different subset of Ultimates could get them. For TMNT specific types, may I suggest 3 more?
Sewer Lair:
Similar to the standard Sewer dio, but with a different backdrop AND TMNT Specific props:
TV, Couch, bookshelf with books (like art, and martial arts), stuff for Donatello's lab, etc.
The idea is that you get enough stuff to decorate different rooms of the lair. You could use the normal sewer diorama in addition to this one to expand the lair.
Channel 6 Building:
This is basically the front facade of the Channel 6 building. The "first floor" would be a plastic"base" with the doors to the building and the front wall. Then, behind the big [6] a cardboard cutout of the building would be attached.
As you can see on the pic the area inside the red lines would be the plastic base and the area inside the blue would be the cardboard addition. Put 2 City dios at both sides and boom! Perfect TMNT DISPLAY for the turtles AND Party Wagon! If Super7 does a Foot Cruiser, this display would be great for both vehicles. The Third would be the inside the Technodrome. This one is kinda obvious on how it would be. Personally, I'd include a bunch of spy flies, a6 exterminators, which are tiny figurines that require very little paint and have 0 articulation. These would be an incentive to get the Technodrome diorama.
Since Weapon packs like MOTU can't be a thing with TMNT, I was thinking of Character upgrade packs... I know that I've mentioned these before, but it's an idea worth repeating. Extra hands, heads, key accessories are something I've been thinking of.
For example, the Turtles:
All 4 turtles would have:
-Head without headband
-extra hands:
(Pointing, Hang-ten, closed fist grasping their bandana, judo chop)
Leo, Don, and Mike would have:
-Vintage and Modern heads with Mirage Red Bandana
Unique accessories for each turtle:
Leo:
-Meditating head (closed eyes, and exhaling through his mouth)
Ninjato and kunai from Sewer Samurai.
-sword slash effect
Don:
-Head with custom Turtle-made Jeweler glasses
-hands holding tweezers and other tiny tools that would be too tiny to be made as loose tools for him to use.
-broken turtle communicator
-spinning bo staff effect
Raphael:
-2 new heads vintage and modern style screaming head to compensate for the lack of Mirage heads.
-3rd new laughing head. (Funny joke or is ready to kick ass, you decide)
-spinning sai hands with spinning sai effects.
-pizza sai. A stiffer plastic sai with painted marinara sauce on the tip and a pizza slice with a hole to slip it in the sai.
Michelangelo:
-extremely determined looking head... like the one pictured above or when he does the badass parrying in the intro. (Just before: Splinter taught them to be ninja teens)
-Turtle Communicator (open and closed)
- special movie 1 inspired twirling chucks hand with twirling chucks.
-special spinning nunchuck. (Like Panthro or the NECA figure)
Vehicles... vehicles... oh man... the Foot Cruiser is most likely going to be in the $400 range. So would be the Transport Module. I shouldn't mention the Blimp because that would totally obliterate our wallets. Since those three vehicles are too expensive, maybe we should try some of the smaller ones. The Cheapskate has they shoot at none of the turtles have Peg holes. Re-releasing a new version of the turtles with peg holes being the sole difference would be somewhat of a dick move. Does anyone even care about the Turtle Trooper... because I Don't.
Not going to like, the Knucklehead would be an interesting one, but Super7 would probably charge $200 for it.
Pizza Thrower without electronics, no way... The Turtle Cycle could be doable and probably would be under $100... but, for symmetry's sake, we need an evil vehicle...
It's the only worthwhile vehicle left...OK, there's the Shreddermobile, but...
Wait there's the Technodrome Scout Vehicle...
April's Ninja newscycle could be a thing, if we get an exclusive April Bike Helmet...
I mean it's less redundant than a $500 redeco of the party wagon... talking about the newsvan.
So yeah, Footski, Knucklehead, and Technodrome Scout Vehicle would be the top 3 picks that are for the bad guys and are small-ish.
I KINDA want the NINJA newscycle, but with a special April... the Yellow suit with orange and blue accents.
But until people get their Thundertank and Party Wagon, we shouldn't get too hyped about vehicles. I'm not saying it as in "they're going to suck ass..." I'm saying it as in "Before we go to crazy, we need to see how these work out." Have the actual wagon or Thundertank in hand, see the photos and actual reviews. Remember the "final figure may vary" posted on the pictures for preordere. What if some of the sculpted parts in the preorder become stickers. Areas that were supposed to have an intricate paint job are now chunks of unpainted plastic?
I hope they don't cut corners, but the fear is always there with every preorder... with a $55 figure, I can complain and take it... a $450 vehicle might be more rage inducing. I wouldn't want to be locked in another huge preorder if the Party Wagon or the Thundertank ends up being underwhelming. They could end up being freaking awesometastic with 2 scoops of hell yeah! and well worth the wait for those who preordered.
I'm well aware that it kind of sounds like I have sour grapes about this. I'm just worried that inflation will be blamed when corners are cut. With the trend of blame inflation, I'm gonna say Accessories will be cut first... like the redundant vintage racks. My next guess afterwards would be some paint accents (we saw that in Muckman, who despite having a lot of painted stuff, some things were left unpainted) or maybe hands, which we're seeing a reduction of them already. I don't want to see the line end up with figures having Muckman levels of accessories, which was the bare minimum beyond what the vintage figure had.
In some cases Full deviations from vintage must be done: I am referring to the vintage Mutatin' figures. I don't want a half-assed Hamato Yoshi that can turn into a half-assed Splinter. We have a decent Splinter. So we should get a Decent Hamato Yoshi. Perhaps he should come with an extra sleeved fabric robe for Splinter. So here's what I'd like to do for Hamato Yoshi:
Fabric clothes (hakama and kimono) extra kimono for Splinter.
Hands:
Standard grip horizontal hings
Standard grip vertical hinge
Fists
Arrow hand
Sai grip hand
Relaxed hands
Mutating into a rat hands*
Heads:
Neutral
angry
Mutating*
Weapons:
Cane sword
Bow and arrows
Quiver
Kunai
Shuriken
Extra accessories:
Art book
Empty Mutagen CANISTER*
*= optional but not required. Could be added in a theoretical pugrade pack.
His body would be mostly new, but based on Shredder's a new truly shirtless torso would be needed. New bare forearms and new lower legs would be required. The idea is that Both Yoshi and Saki can reuse the body with small alterations between them to differentiate both figures.
I kept Yoshi Splinter themed with the same accessories as Splinter, because he's Splinter.
The Sai hand is emant to use one of the spare sai from the mouser set. The bare human hands could be premaking some parts for Vernon.
For Oroku Saki here's what I'd want:
Reusing the Hamato Yoshi body with new forearms that look like Shredder's but with no spike armor
New lower legs that look like Shredder's without the spiked armor
Cloth Kimono and Hakama based on the Mutatin figure.
His hands would be reused from the original Shredder and maybe 2 new hands with the 2 finger ninja pose.
His weapons would be the same as Shredder, but instead of the single Katana, he gets dual swords and a scepter inspired by the Mutatin figure.
For heads, I'd suggest 3:
Normal Saki
Angry Saki
A Mutatin Shredder helmet in Blue and Silver...
That way it can be used by any of the Shredder figures.
I'm not going to lie and pretend that I don't have an ulterior motive with Oroku Saki. If his fabric clothing were to fall in a bowl full of purple dye and I got a 3rd party head inspired by Tatsu, I could make a custom Tatsu... unless Super7 thought ahead and gave us a Tatsu head that doesn't look like Obata-san... all we need is a bald dude with mustache... hell, the FourHorsemen could use Cornboy's head as a base. Not all bald men look the same.
I won't go into details for Pre-Mutation Baxter, since I've already covered the plan of getting both Mirage and toon Baxters in one figure.
I once did Bebop and Rocksteady, but now I kinda want to go on a different direction with them. The Vintage Mutatin figures are meh at best. Especially white Bebop... feh! So, for starters, They should have clothes that look really close to the outfits worn by the Mutated versions we know and love.
For example, Rocksteady's outfit is the same as his mutated version, but no turtle shells. He also has a bandolier with shotgun shells and a machete holster in the back. (These are nods to the toon version)
For his accessories:
Shotgun (new or reuse Leatherhead's)
Machete
2 Spray cans with removable spray effect.
Sledgehammer
For hands:
Normal grip hands
Pair of shotgun hands (right trigger, left pump holding)
Spray can holding hands
Fists
Heads:
No helmet
With helmet
For Bebop, I feel like toon inspiration is very important over recreating the vintage figure. Meaning, human Bebop MUST BE Black. His outfit should be his warthog self's outfit with a short sleeved pink shirt as a nod to the Mutatin figure.
For his accessories:
Knife
Spiked ball and chain (nod to the wacky action figure)
Battery powered Drill (nod to his eventual Dril Gun)
2 spray cans (same as Rocksteady but different colors)
Chainsaw
For hands:
Normal grip hands
Spray can grip hands
Fists
Gun grip hands for the drill
While he gets no extra heads, his head should be removable (in case of future upgrades)
The idea behind these two is to give them similar, but different stuff that references what they will become. But at the same time make them different from the mutated forms.
Foot Soldier army Builder pack... it would be neat if we could get one of those... I know, that some will say that a $110 2-pack is too much. Or that 2-packs ruin the ultimates style packaging...
Well, let me finish: The army builder pack would not be for the MOC Collector. I'm thinking that Super7 could take a page out of Hasbro and release the army builder pack in the most minimalistic packaging as possible. Even the Plastic free bullshit packaging is welcome for this pack.
2 Foot Soldiers, 1 sets of hands, 1 unpainted weapons rack at a lower price than 2 figures.
I want to say $70... since it's the price of 2 Ultimates figures from the first generation (MOTUC). I removed too much stuff for me to use the TMNT wave 1 $90 price for 2 figures.
If this was to sell for $110, I'd need a third foot soldier to feel "value" in an army builder. Not to mention that Super7 could "recoup" some of their "loss" by doing a Foot Soldier Upgrade pack.
For $20 they could have a set of Foot Soldier hands and 2 Sets of Weapons in Foot Soldier grey... personally, I'd use a Shredder and a Foot Soldier Rack for these.
The idea is to "trick people" into buying the Army Builder and a few months later, they buy the Upgrade pack. With the addition of traditional Ninja weapons from the Shredder rack in Foot Soldier grey, folks who didn't buy the army builder ser, might buy an upgrade pack... or two for the sake of having Normal ninja weapons in a color that makes sense for the Foot Soldiers. If further packs are made, perhaps adding weapons ONLY AVAILABLE through the packs
But a lot of these ideas have the same amount of chances to become real as me hitting the Power Ball WITHOUT BUYING A TICKET!
While Logistically speaking, Super7 hasn't done as well as Mattycollector... mostly because they don't have a Multibillion company backing them up and allowing for swifter delivery and lower productprices. If they could have Mattycollector prices, they would've been in a much better position. Sadly, they're not, so some of my ideas may not be logistically feasable. I will tossing ideas, because you never know if maybe we can get on similar wavelengths and get something similar.

Random thoughts that keep me awake past dawn: sci fi stuff...
I have no idea how to start this but I have questions:
Cryogenic Prisons: What's the point? You ice the crominals to release them years later? They remain in their prime, unchanged, and you're deopping them in a more advanced and usually more pacifist world, not ready for that kind of mayhem.
Clones: You take cells of say, a 39-year old guy. Put them in a tube, bada bing bada boom you have a 39-year old looking guy that happens to be 1 day old. Now thanks to Science, we know that the clones cannot be put on accelerated aging and they have their genetic clock going against them. At age 1 the Clone is a 40-year old toddler. Not to mention the clone having all the knowledge of the original up until the point the DNA was extracted.
Genetic Splicing: Take Man. Take Spider. Have them meet... you know where I'm going to.
Real Life gets you GITD AIDS CATS.
Time Travel: We've seen the movies, the TV shows, comics, videogames, etc. But assuming that time travel could be achieved, we need to take into consideration Earth's position in Space and universal expansion rate. Standing in your home in 2022 would probably mean floating on outer space in 1492. Now if we assume that we can do some fancy Mathematics and tether the time machine to Earth and end up in 1492... time traveling would kill the traveler. Exposing the traveler to foreign strains of bacteria and viruses, not to mention that I'd be exposing 1492 folks to foreign strains of bacteria and viruses. Same thing would apply if the traveler went to 2121.
Giant Robots: Shinji get in the Robot... save the world, jerk off on comatose girls later.
In reality, Mechs are impractical as hell. Easier target, top heavy, loud and logistically inefficient, especially in uneven terrain. I mean Our human legs fail us in uneven terrain, imagine how painful it must be for a 70 foot tall robot.
Laser blasters: pew! pew! But real life lasers don't work like the movies. They are too big, too bulky and too invisible to the naked eye. Don't even think of asking for a more elegant weapon from a civilized age.
VR/Holodeck: Nope, don't get me started on that...
I really need to go to sleep...

Speculation: a Revelation Hopes vs. Fears rant
I'm riding the Revelation Gravy train before it runs out... probably next week I'll take a few days off due to IRL issues, car troubles, and other things and won't be returning to post until August... or maybe sooner. It depends on how I feel after the break. Or if some crazy announcement is dropped on my lap.
PART 2 of Revelation will still be Teela Centric, so y'all can forget about Adam making a comeback and recovering the protagonist role.
Hope:
While Teela is still the protagonist of this series, Adam is still the main character and has some active role... or as active as he can be as he recovers.
Fear:
Adam is too weakened to do anything or dies from his injuries.
Hope:
Clamp Champ will have a more active role than 3 seconds and even get a speaking part. Perhaps other Masters that haven't had any cartoon appearances could show up... (His name is Rio and he's blastin' in the sand)
Fear:
Focus will be on Teela being a Supreme badass who overpowers all obstacles once she gets her second wind... or her magical wind.
Hope:
Despite the race against time to stop Skeletor, I hope to see Teela coming to accept the truth and her mother. (This one, will make me cry for obvious reasons)
Fear:
Teela doubles down on her brattiness and refuses to deal with her destiny until it's too late.
Hope:
Evil-Lyn went with Skeletor to find a way to doublecross him, because Orko's bravery touched her.
Fear:
Evil-Lyn went with Skeletor to doublecross him in order to take the power herself.
Hope:
Skelegod will fall by Adam's hand with Teela's help showing that a combination of might and magic is what tempers the universe... and a symbolic message of Adam and Teela being soulmates.
Fear:
Teela is able to Summon the Power of Grayskull ans takes down Skelegod herself.
Hope: The second half will be better than the first half.
Fear: A repeat of Kevin Smith's Spider-Man and Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do where the second half was shit in comparison to the first part.
Hope:
We get a season 2 and taking the feedback from the audience to improve on the weaker points.
Fear:
Kevin Smith goes full Noelle Stevenson and craps on He-Man, horribly...
The show is not perfect but so far it did better than I thought it would.
Ignore the trolls that say that it's a 0 out of 10 and the ones that say it's an 11 out of 10. Watch it yourself and let yourself be the judge. Also, don't feel pressured to leave reviews on sites.

B-Flynn has plans for 16 Thundercats figures...
Don't believe me?
So we now have to fill in 16 slots to make a lineup:
I do not know who is on B-Flynn's list, it's time to speculate!!
First let's get the super obvious picks out of the way:
01- Jaga
02- Grune
Since those two have already been sculpted by the horsemen and a half being shown around for years... ever since the Mattel Era. the next three figures are really obvious choices to everyone once before the end of the line:
03- Mumm-Ra the Everliving
04- Cheetara
05- Tygra
Sure some people would like to see Slythe, Monkian, and Vultureman which are my next three characters on the list by the way, but they'd sacrifice them just to get the previous 3 (Mumm-Ra, Cheetara and Tygra):
06- Slythe
07- Monkian
08- Vultureman
The next two, while somewhat important, are skippable, unless you have a Mattel Pumyra:
09- Lynx-O
10- Bengali
We just filled 10 slots with CORE, CORE, CORE CHARACTERS. We are missing 6.
What Faction of the Thundercats has 6 members?
11- Alluro
12- Chilla
13- Tug Mug
14- Red-Eyr
15- Amok with Luna (single carding her would be outrageous)
Oh crap now we only have one spot left...
16- Snarf (with Ma-Mutt and maybe a Berbil)
You can't throw in Snarf on its own and expect people to pay $45... says the guy who paid over $80 for a Snarf resin display piece with some articulation.
THERE you have it 16 Thundercats slots filled with the most important characters. While yes, it would be cool to have the Berserkers, the Warrior Maidens, and others like Safari joe, Hachiman, or Mongor... it's roughly $800 worth of Thundercats merchandise... roughly $200 every 3 months. JUST to get the core folks. We got burnt with Bandai AND Mattel. Right now adult Thundercats fans just want to get the core teams before the line ends.

Top 20 things I will do once I have Power...
I am bored with this lack of electric power thing. I detest ranting by phone... Especially when things come out of the toy chest. Bison is still MIA. Power Con stuff shipped after a few issues with my kinetic card. Speech to text turned credit to kinetic. I left it like that after going through the rant to add punctuation because it was funny. So, things I'll do once the power returns.
1- Cook a hearty meal in the slow cooker.
I've been eating outside of home since I ran out of propane. Insert something Hank Hill here. I'm tired of that bastard Boiardi. I've eaten so much tuna that I feel like I'm an honorary Thundercat.

2-Let the updatethon begin.
PS3, PS4, PC, WiiU will be begging for updates... OK the PS3 will only ask an update for Netflix, but it's still an update. Once that's done.
3- Make a couple of rants on PC.
Got to finish a movie review, got some toys on backlog due to the hurricanes and my two jobs.

4-Use the internet properly.

5- Ice Cold EVERYTHING!
Ice cold coke, ICED iced Tea, JD on the rocks. Ice cold Chocolate Milk.
Ice cold WATER!!!

6-ALL THE WARM SHOWERS.
No power = no water heater. No water heater = no showers.

7-Sleep.
By sleep I mean sleeping in the dark and with at least a fan for cool ventilation. Graveyard shift work means sleeping during the days and with no electricity, means having open windows in the middle of the day. Sweltering heat + Mosquitoes = bad sleep. Having to nap at work before or after my shifts sucks ass. I miss my bed.

8-Netflix and I still need someone to chill with so I can give her that look...
OK, I mean just watch Fuller House season 3 I can't promise no Stephanie's Fuller Blouse jokes, but the s3 review will have to wait for now.

9-Videogames that aren't Super Smash Bros. For 3DS.
I seriously need to upgrade my 3DS library. Also play videogames on home consoles.

10- Turn light switches on and off.
Sounds stupid but when you're over a month with no power, something as simple as turning a switch on and off can be amazing.

11- Charge my phone AT HOME!!
Again, something simple that feels huge due to the lack of power.

12- Use my electric razor to shave.
Nothing beats a manual razor, true, but I'm a bit lazy, so every now and then I want to use the electric razor... Also good for trimming sideburns without going to a barbershop.

13- Do laundry...
Washing clothes by hand sucks... Need I say more?
14- Hang out with Ben and Jerry...
Yes, I mean the Ice cream. Goes well with the Netflix binge watching.
15-Watch the meter...
Not all the things I plan to do are meant to be awesome. I need to watch the meter just to make sure that the PREPA won't try to rip me off.
16- Restock the fridge...
Meats, fruits, veggies... Stuff that is not canned. This kinda goes with 1 and 5 but I have to be specific here.
17-Upgrade my 3DS library.
Most of the stores that sell videogames in PR have remained closed. Once the Power returns, I can get eshop cards to get myself Ace Attorney the real games... (Screw Herr forehead) and maybe get me some N64 games for 3DS.
18- Watch YouTube videos on a 32-inch screen.
Phone screen is tiny. Need big ass screen to see Dachie rage, or Noble being cringey... Among other stuff.
19-Put Christmas decorations (assuming it returns before Christmas)
Self explanatory.
20-Return to normal.

Super7 is keeping the Horsemen.
![]() |
| Thundercats is loaded with this |
Sadly, Thundercats is dead... or in a coma
well, until Super7, Mattel and Warner Brothers figure out all of the red tape with Thundercats.
At least Classics is happening somehow... and the Filmation sub-line.
Now here's the thing:
I EXPECT to see Super7 tackle on the main two and a few core characters. New Company, expecting the release of a few A-List guys is kinda obvious. Why do you think we keep getting Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun Li, Akuma every time a Street Fighter Line is made. I expect a few waves 1-2 to show up. Hopefully these will not be the same vanilla versions we got in Mattel's Classics. Maybe looking at 200X or the DC Comic as a way to refresh the core characters is a good idea... YES, I'm aware that I mentioned the "nu52 MOTU". I just don't want exact reissues of the Mattel MOTUC figures...
What I WANT might be a bit different:
-Completion of the New Adventures roster. There's 11 Toy Characters MIA from Mattel's MOTUC. For MOTUC to be "an Anthology line" we NEED those 11 Characters, and Sebrian.
-For the line to Not be overrun by variants. Too many variants kills lines. I expect a few of them, but not to be overloaded with variants.
-Representatives from the parts of MOTU lore that are currently not represented. Star Comics (if the rights are available), MVC Comics, The Power Tour, etc. (If you need specific examples: Lt. Andra, Illumina, Songster)
-Reasonable prices on these figures. Otherwise they won't sell well.
-Find a way for Snake Mountain to happen.
Last but not least:

My top picks If MOTUC Were to End in 2017
Near SDCC Time means the yearly Doom and Gloom is coming... Matty's Transparency is near invisibility and Rumors have been going on around facebook and forums about Mattel kinda wanting to back out of Snake Mountain and that there might not be a MOTUC presence at SDCC.
There are tons of figures that I want (a complete NA roster including some core Cartoon characters), mini comic characters, Filmation characters, Certain 200X variants, and other kinds of figures... thinking of Space eggs here... And the key piece being Snake Mountain.
BUT Let's PRETEND 2017 is THE FINAL FINAL YEAR. (Better get that Snake Mountain)
These are the top figures I'd hope to see in a 2017 sub... Filmation variants can go eat a bag of...
OK, Cap... I'll try!
These not necessarily may be your top picks and I'd love to see which ones are my readers' picks. This time I'm saying Fornicate balance and what's popular... This list is fueled by Greed... Not the Homunculus, so save those FMA links for another rant, Spike!
So, my Top Figures, Vehicle and Steed.
Standard Figure Picks (I'll pick 8 because that covers the 6 bimonthlies, 1 sub exclusive and 1 chase):
Master Sebrian
I have Mentioned Before that Master Sebrian is an Important Character to have from New Adventures. I am picking him over Kayo, since Sebrian is harder to customize. (Aside the Weapons that can be made via Shapeways, we pretty much have the Pieces for him... Headwise, we could look at the NECA area...)
Songster
I have made a rant on how easy he is to make for Mattel already, I mentioned how we lack Power Tour Representation... I just simply want a Spoony Bard that is not Bow and that looks more glamour and glitter fashion and fame than Jem herself. I know Truly Outrageous, Truly, truly, truly outrageous!
Kothos
Villain turned Good Guy, first Seen on the Popular Filmation Episode: The Witch and the Warrior. Sure! He needs a lot of new tooling, but he has more appearances than Nepthu...
Lodar
Mini comic villain that if rumors are true, the Horsemen already sculpted him. Rather plin looking body, so multiples could be used for customs... Also his mask looks very MK-3 Like... Thinking Ninjor 2.0 custom...
Garn (Filmation)
We pretty much have what we need to make him. Parts from Nepthu, Sea Hawk can be reused. (All he'd need is new feet, loincloth, head...) I prefer the Filmation look over the Mini Comic look...
Josh
Again, MY LIST, MY WANTS. I've been campaigning for Josh for quite some time and I'd like to have him in Classics. Dilute the Etherian Clambake... Just as Mara and Crita will dilute the Tri Solar Sausagefest.
Illumina
No Neitlich, more reason to do her. Not only it being an olive branch to Emiliano Santalucia, but it's a frigging Blue elf chick! That's badass, not to mention that she killed Spector...
King Miro (200x Outfit)
He completes the Royal Family and while I have the IBMMT Filmation Miro head and forced myself to make a custom Miro. An official Mattel Miro would be most welcome. I chose the 200X Look, because that's how he appears on the MOTUC mini comic. (It's also easier for Mattel to make)
Steed:
Stridor
No contest... If I'm going to have Jitsu and Fisto Jousting, both need their robo-horsies! (My Plan B was a tie between Clawdeen and Mantisaur)
Vehicle:
Land Shark
I LOVE The Dragon Walker, BUT the Heroic Warriors have: Wind Raider, Talon Fighter, Battle Ram (the Heroic half came with Sky High) The bad Guys have the front half of the Battle Ram and MAYBE Roton (If Mattel doesn't back out) So if only ONE MORE VEHICLE CAN BE MADE, then The Land Shark it is. I had one as a kid and I want one as an Adult.
Other Items: I know this is pushing it but, what the heck! it's speculation (SDCC, Secondary Large Item like say a 2 pack, Power Con Repaints)
200X He-Man vs 200X Skeletor
Yes, I will keep campaigning for those two variants. He-Man is pretty much done (All he'd need is a new Loincloth or removable belt and Harness) Skeletor would need a few more pieces (Head, Loincloth, Forearms and Greaves) Mostly because having a final thank you preferably in Comic con
Sagitar
I will campaign for More NA, because I've learned to love NA thanks to the Horsemen... Also a 4 Armed Centaur that He-Man can ride into battle is crazy awesome!
Repaints:
Power Con and your Repaints/no new sculpts... I TECHNICALLY am not a fan of these being exclusive to the con, but I'd be VERY TEMPTED to buy these if they were made.
200X Roboto
Basically Roboto with Blast Attak Forearms for dual wielding action, Horde Trooper Lower legs and feet in 200X Roboto colors. Sure the Armor is not there, but shapeways Masters can deal with that.
Battle Damaged Faker
Basically Faker with the BD Head from NA Skeletor and Removable Left Arm like Filmation Hordak. Make his armor fuschia for the Leo Faker Look.
Allepsatsac
Basically an Entrapta Repaint in Castaspella-esque colors with Casta's head.

Looking back on MOTUC's 2011 Roster
I've looked back on MOTUC's 2009 roster, 2010 roster and 2013 roster. I need to fill in the 2011 and 2012 gaps before I look back on 2014 (and I'd need to get the remaining figures of 2014 to look back on them.) Like on past Looking back on MOTUC Rosters, I'll use the American Grading System where A+ is the Best and F-Minus is Nepthu.
So, 2011:
Vikor: A-
Crom! That's all I can say about him. He's VERY Conan-like. The Figure is really awesome. I do have a few nitpicks, most of them the cape being incredibly rigid and the shield clip, but he is BAD ASS!!
Palace Guards 2-Pack: A
We get Lieutenant Toyguru, Token Black Guard, and two extra heads that are useless on the human buck. (Snake-ified Lt. Toyguru or Token Black Guard, and Qadian Guard) Stories by the Guru say that the Horsemen made the Neitlich head as a surprise. Contradicting stories say that Neitlich himself wanted his head on a character. In any case with me buying two sets, I had a spare Neitlich head that I gave a Jewfro and made my 2012's Mighty Spector less Deadpool-Like. Tons of accessories, the interchangeable plates allow multiple display options. Personally I would have Preferred 4 Human heads.
Bow: A
The Most Heterosexual Man on Etheria, who is totally NOT GAY finally got immortalized in MOTUC Plastic. The Horsemen took the Filmation Look and added a lot of toy detail (even if they gave him New Adventures He-Man pieces) He came with a lot of stuff (no Kowl, sadly. 2013 fixed that) 2 heads, Bow, Arrow (not the horse) and his Filmation Harp. He even has a Heart on his crotch! You're checking out Bow's crotch aren't ya?
Shadow Beast: B
Neitlich claims that these are 200X Shadow Beasts when they are Clearly Filmation. They reuse the Gygor buck (TBH It feels like the buck was made for Shadow Beasts and the Gygor usage was a serendipitous thing.) I regret not being able to get one or two of these.
The Sub Exclusive figure of 2011, who I got for cheap on the Secondary Market for one reason and one Reason Only: Cosmic Key in Movie Colors. The Bionatops gun is cool too!
Rigid Skirt ruins articulation, skintone does not match past He-Man figures, Super tough Tunic Top kinda hurt his score. TBH I only got him because of the Cosmic Key.

Preternia Disguise He-Man: (AKA Hamburglar He-Man, Crossdressing He-Man) C
The Sub Exclusive figure of 2011, who I got for cheap on the Secondary Market for one reason and one Reason Only: Cosmic Key in Movie Colors. The Bionatops gun is cool too!
Rigid Skirt ruins articulation, skintone does not match past He-Man figures, Super tough Tunic Top kinda hurt his score. TBH I only got him because of the Cosmic Key.
King Hiss: C
Toyguru lost his shirt on this one BECAUSE of the Tooling and Special Materials required to make him. THE biggest issues with him are: Reversed Shoulders (My King Hiss went under the Knife thanks to HunterKnight Custom's King Hiss Shoulder Fixing method) Then the Snakes on his Snake Form WERE ALL WRONG. One snake missing, too small. The answer to all this was: "This is your King Hiss!" So, I repainted mine in a more 200X palette... (we're getting a 200X Hiss in 2015... D'oh!)
Battle Armor Skeletor: C+
We had BA He-Man in 2010, so BA Skeletor was to be expected. While I'm glad we're lacking action features, a small part of me misses the Battle Damage feature. One Real complaint that I have is that Mattel left out the Power Sword AGAIN which is a bit lame. One cool thing is that Skeletor got a Purple Ax to match BA He-Man (or as a nod to Filmation... The true Filmation Ax came in 2013) If you see BA He-Man's grade, is slightly higher than Skeletor's BECAUSE He-Man's waist joint doesn't stick unlike Skeletor's.
Sy-Klone: B+
BRIGHT COLORS BLINDING ME!! (Yeah I repainted mine because his vintage colors are too damn bright... an oddity in MOTUC, I know) Dial isn't that intrusive, but mildly annoying. Did leave me wanting a second more Samurai styled head for him. (as seen in his 200X look)
Panthor: A
Thank the toygods for no Flock! I know that past Panthors were flocked. After seeing Mossman's mangy flocking, I'm glad Panthor wasn't flocked. I have to admit that customizers have flocked Panthor and it looks good. One good thing Neitlich claims he did was adding a helmet for Panthor. (Believe me he tells that story ALL THE TIME). Since he's basically a new head and helmet, he doesn't do much for me... If we could somehow get a 200X Saddle for Panthor, maybe that would help me be more excited about him.
Castle Grayskull's Weapon Rack: B-
The first Diorama Piece. (Up to this time Castle Grayskull was a dream "Maybe in a movie year!")
So, we got the Weapon Rack from Castle Grayskull. Some weapons were in a rusty Metallic look, Others got the "Man-E-Weapons" or "Wun-Dar" look with Metallic Red. This is why it loses some points. We'll never get the rusty weapons in red, nor the red weapons in rusty old colors. So this rack has a bunch of mismatched weapons on it.
Catra: C+
Ah, Digital River, how you screwed up people who ordered a single figure from you here. Sending Catra in a Lint filled Envelope was a crappy move. I also must point out that THIS is one of the few times where the fourhorsemen dropped the ball... Combwhip... 'Nuff said! Mattel dropped the ball with the Gummy Hand and Gummy Sword.
The (Not So) Faceless One: B-
The (Not So) Faceless One: B-
Ah, Evil Lyn's daddy! Keeper of the Ramstone... Bunch of new Tooling but no Long Flowing Tunic... That is a minor nitpick. The biggest nitpic is HE HAS A FREAKING FACE!! YOU CANNOT BE FACELESS IF YOU HAVE A FACE!!
Battleground Teela: B-
The only Representation from the DC MOTU Comics from the 80s is Metal Bra Teela. (Or Teela as the Sorceress, before wearing the Zoar Snuggie; if we follow the Neitlichverse)Less articulation than Normal Teela. Her face sculpt, while Similar To Teela's looks like she's bored out of her freaking Mind. I hate her, because she gave us the Less Articulated thighs. I love her because that gun is so freaking sweet and her bra popping off easily allows for easy MOTUC stripper pics!
Clawful: A-
Jim Henson's Crab Dude is finally here. Luckily the fourhorsemen did something smart to break off the Masked Luchador vibe he had and made him look more crab-like. Luckily, the Muppet Eyebrows look more like Monster Crab Brows when painted red.
Queen Marlena and Cringer: C+
Finally we have a Queen Marlena in toy form. sadly she has a few issues. Her dead unforgiving eyes... OK, so she has only ONE Issue. The one who bears the most issues is Cringer. Basically an undersized Statue of Cringer... Cringer would have benefited from a single card release and having the same range of articulation as Battle Cat.
Man-e-Faces: A+
Ah, Man-E! He kinda looks like Dan Akroyd... but with the ability to turn into a robot or a monster. Getting the Extra head did give him an extra oomph! (shame that we never got Extra Man-e-Heads with other figures)
Megator: F
Puny for a Giant, with a lot less articulation than a normal figure, but unlike Tytus, he got an Extra Head and a Decent Weapon.
Leech: A-
He sucks (cause he's a leech, duh!). kinda looks like SMB1 Bowser and he has a crappy net that breaks while kept FLAT in storage. Other than that, he is freaking sweet!
Hurricane Hordak: C
Damn the Vac Metal, Damn the Dial! These two things Greatly ruin a decent Hordak variant.
Lt. Icarius: A+
I don't know what is it with NA Releases in MOTUC being pleasant surprises! Flipshot follows the Tradition with Optikk for being a pleasantly surprising New Adventures figure. Not to mention the Val Kilmer head!! Of course people hate him because he is New Adventures.

Snout Spout: D+
If there is a non-giant disappointing figure on the entire year, the award goes to Snout Spout. It didn't help that Mattel cheapened out on Snout Spout's trunk by making it out of a foam that broke from getting the toy out of the package. Of course then there's the adherence to Vintage looks, which make Snout Spout look dorky and sad. (a second Mini Comic head would have made him look Badass and not 200X. Though the 200X Staction head on snouty looks badass too!)
Bubble Power She-Ra: B
This figure is a black mark on Neitlich's record. He was trying his hardest to NOT have PoP variants on the line. If it hadn't been for Normal She-Ra's inability to theoretically ride Swift Wind, then this figure would have never happened. she's Filamtion based except for the boots and bracers, yet her skin tone does NOT Match her previous She-Ra figure. Of course the Extra BP stuff ended on She-Ra 1.0 and this one became Default She-Ra... These Mistakes shouldn't be happening, but I'm glad Mattel was FORCED to fix the issues on She-Ra.
Swift Wind: B-
The Steed for She-Ra is Finally here! (This is why BP She-Ra was made in the first place!
The few issues plaguing him (breakable tabs to hold his wings, the inability to turn him into Spirit and the reversed leg syndrome) do knock a few points off of him.
Demo-Man: A-
The figure has no issues (though I'm not a fan of the static mace.) and the Alcalá Skeletor head is Totally Awesome, he just is there and that's it.
Battleground Evil Lyn: C
Mattel Missing the point big time in WHY PEOPLE WANTED a more 200X Looking Evil Lyn is what lowers her grade. She is a great figure EXCEPT SHE'S STILL WEARING TEELA'S CLOTHES!!
Wind Raider: A+What can I say? It's an amazing vehicle (and I'm not a fan of the Wind Raider) that was Masterfully converted to MOTUC... If we could get the Land Shark and Dragon Walker... Sadly, it ain't gonna happen.

In my days MTV used to stand for Music Television
Now there's less music but more morons... I remember the days when I loved to watch music videos on MTV and it hit me... Why don't I rant about my favorite Music videos that ARE NOT THAT SONG... So I'll do ten videos that I can watch again and again... That do not have Michael Jackson, because he took videos to a different level.
Let's start with a song that I remember more from the video than from the song... I love the song and have it on my MP3 player, but the full magic of it only works when watching the video.
This video is trippy as heck... Jumping inside a comic book, a Monkey Wrench fight, being in a relationship with a cartoon character... Yeah... that last part is a bit creepy... so let's back away from the cartoon loving thing and let's comment on how she DID NOT PAY for her coffee and left the diner...
Also, has anyone of you gotten so drunk that you bump into the walls like the dude in the video? I have not... I've bumped into the walls sober while listening to the song...
Now, I could Top this with ANYTHING Involving Michael Jackson, but that would be cheating...
This one, I blame my younger cousin since it's from the Boyband Wars era...
It kinda has this Michael Jackson inspired vibe from it. This is not my favorite BSB song, but it's my favorite BSB video... Their in synchronization competition's videos weren't that great though, but I liked them better as a band... Holy crap! I just gave away my side on the Boy band wars!!
Speaking of my favorite BSB song, not posting the video on the list, but that song was pretty popular and a group of friends of mine (myself included) used to sing it to mock the video. T'was weird and awesome breaking into song at random moments and synch up pretty well. I'd make fun of Hanson, but they are a million times better than One Direction
I'm feeling that I should mention Meatloaf... While there are plenty of songs to choose, I had to go with I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that)
for obvious reasons. The song is catchy, but the video kicks ass! As much as I hate Praising Hollywood's Great Satan, this awesome video was made by Michael Bay... Seriously, he should stick to music videos. Busting through walls with a bike as if he was the Kool-Aid man! Monster Meatloaf rules! Seriously, it's got Bay written all over it, how could I not notice! Even when he's all creepy stalker, he still looks badass... (Being a creepy monster stalker is bad, kids! don't do it in real life!) Seriously, Meatloaf's Stalker levels are off the scale! He stalks the lady the good old fashioned way. He stalks her with his magic Crunk cup, watching her take a bath with her clothes on, but he completely ignores the pseudo-orgy with Succubi happening behind him? Oh... That's the "THAT" he won't do... He'll spy her using a weird contraption that even makes her lounge chair float, but watching the intro to a Cinemax soft core special is a big no-no to him... He may be a creepy stalker, but he has his limitations.
but speaking of creepy stalkers, Here's my next pick!
Yeah, yeah, I know there are better picks for a Lionel Richie video from a visual point of view, but to keep on with the creepy theme, I chose Hello.
Seriously, this video is creepy as heck! He's some sort of creepy teacher stalking a blind student...
If this happened today:
He's all: Hello! Is it me you're looking for?
She's all: I'm blind you #$%ing dumbass! How can I be LOOKING for you! Insensitive prick! Also quit stalking me! POLICE! LIONEL RICHIE TRIED TO RAPE ME!!
Although the actors in the video look older, it somehow has this "High school" vibe... which makes it even creepier. Calling her by phone at night and staying silent...
But again, keeping with the creepy theme...
Tom Green's Bum Bum song... It made the top on TRL but since TRL lacked the LIVE part of the Requests, they Coerced Green to retire the song... I guess he regrets putting his bum on the cheese...
but speaking of people who put their bum on things...
Yes, it's time for the Mandatory Miley Cyrus video...
Don't worry, it won't be a Hannah Video, since those tend to suck, because it's just Hannah Montana Prancing on a stage but at the same time it won't be a post-Hannah Miley video where she licks stuff and thinks she's Tom Green...
My Miley video is rather tame...
THIS is the Miley I miss... Not dressed up in weird fursuits or plastic pants 2 sizes too small and not Tom Greening everything in sight... Even the Mileyrena section of the video is way better than the Hammer licking... Now as much as I dislike Miley's new image, I have to admit that her Wrecking ball song is good. I'm not going to do an extensive rant on this song since it's an obvious trippy dream sequence. If I wanted to make a rant I could use Wrecking Ball and suggest that the scenes of Miley making out with the hammer are references to a secret crush she had on Thor...
This next video is from one of my EARLIEST MP3 FILES... I had forgotten for a long time that a video of this song existed.
The video is nothing out of the Ordinary... It's only Jennifer Love Hewitt jumping around while singing about the I Know what you did Last Summer dude...
This made it to TRL cause she was dating Carson Daly...
That's Seven Down and THREE To Go!! Who are the Top 3 NON-Michael Jackson videos that I love to watch/Listen? Stay tuned to this very rant because they're coming up next!!
Next on my list:
You have no Idea how I HATED THIS Video... Little kids LOVED THE HECK OUT OF THIS...
I can go on a murderous spree while listening to this song... (Perfect song to mow the lawn... It gets me angry enough to mutilate and possibly murder grass!) Nothing like the smell of freshly mutilated plant life to make you feel all Summertime happy, right? Best part is that I KNOW ZERO FRENCH, so I cannot understand how tough is to be a baby... which totally makes sense. Adults do not understand babies, so they don't know how hard it is to be one...
Heck his music was banned from France, to avoid exploitation, they claim... I think it's more to avoid another French Revolution...
So, let's leave the little French Kid alone and move to out Next Video, one that I've used a couple of times for a couple of rants, due to the theme of said rants...
The one video that was CLOSE Enough to make it to the list but did not... One shall stand and one shall fall... He-Man stood, Transformers fell.
Let's start with a song that I remember more from the video than from the song... I love the song and have it on my MP3 player, but the full magic of it only works when watching the video.

| STAY AWAY FROM MAI WAIFU OR I'LL MAKE Kowlkebabs |
As much as I hate Praising Hollywood's Great Satan, this awesome video was made by Michael Bay... | dur dur d'être adulte doesn't have the same ring to it. yes, that is Jordy, all-grown-up... |
All jokes aside. I love using this video to torture my younger brother, who LOVED this song as a kid...
Now the video is not remarkable... Seeing the man in Tightie Whities is a bit disturbing, but it's a French video, so it's artsy... Irresponsible parents, not really. They are showing how trusty they are and that their babies are independent enough to go on a boat ride all alone...The song is catchy on its own... the Cringeworthy stuff IS the video... Sorry, it's a European video so it is Fine Art... (Insert Snobbish laugh here)
So, let's leave the little French Kid alone and move to out Next Video, one that I've used a couple of times for a couple of rants, due to the theme of said rants...
Paramore's Decode... The best thing related to Twilight: the movie... There is nothing remarkable on the video, but due to it having clips from the movie and the band in the forest (or A forest similar to the one from the movie) as if they're there singing... which begs the question, all that electric equipment is being powered by? Seriously, I don't hear any generators giving power to the instruments, amps and microphone... Also, it's funny seeing the band Twilighting it up... ie. standing around like constipated idiots... I could have gone with another song from another movie, that's been overplayed, but this video I mostly ignored. The non-Daredevil version of this video, I've not seen, so that's why I went with Decode... Also, the sooner I can Forget Garner as Elektra, the better...
This is it guys, The Final Video... The Top Ten are nearly OVER!! To pick my Number one, I had to do a huge Purge on my list... Eternal favorites of mine did not make the cut, Not even Queen... and there's a LOT of stuff to choose from Queen... Ask Vanilla Ice... (BTW it sounds like He's saying Ass, Ass, Baby)
How many of you were actually surprised that my NUMBER ONE VIDEO IS THIS!?
Sure, I could have used any video from any Disney Animated Feature, but I only do those once in a blue moon. Also, I kept Disney to a Minimum since I put up Miley... That's why Billy Ray is nowhere to be seen on the list.

Variants that I'd like to see in MOTUC
Before I start this rant, I need to do a couple of warnings:
I'm not saying that THEY MUST MAKE ALL THE VARIANTS I'm Mentioning. I understand why people can be a bit turned off by them... Smash Blade He-Man Flashbacks and all that. With the Line wrapping up, I know variants have taken a back seat and I understand that. It's that some of them were pretty cool and it would be a shame to miss out on them.
Feel free to list your favorites (not necessarily the ones on my list) on the comments section Below.
Snake Armor King Grayskull:
Yes, you read correctly. I'm choosing the Snake Armor variant to be a King Grayskull variant. Mostly because he's a 200X Character and that's a 200X Variant. Besides popping in a He-Man head gets you the Snake Armor He-Man.
Savage Catra: (a Toy Based Normal Catra.)
I chose the Savage name since Catra's Variants have names that would make no sense in Classics (due to the Non-Action features aspect of the line.) Seriously, Scratching Sound or Shower Power would make no sense if they cannot wet people or make scratching sounds.
Canonically speaking this Catra could be the one that stays on Etheria after Hordak was killed and the Twins of Power "left to the stars".
Starburst She-Ra: You should have known this was coming. Especially since I mentioned a Toy based Catra. The main Reason for a Starburst She-Ra is to get one with the Vintage Toy chestplate.
The Laser Variants: (Laser Light Skeletor and Laser Power He-Man)
They show up on the mini-comic that comes with The Un-Named One. They almost have all the pieces for LL Skeletor with the NA Figure... Just a Translucent Red Horde Prime Right Hand, The Classic Havoc Staff in Translucent Red and a new Skele-face on a hood (I vote for Mattel using the Dittzhood or the Preternia He-Man Hood.
For He-Man well, a new Head, I want my Dolph Lundgren Mullet for He-Man dammit!! Also, these two scream SDCC Two-Pack.
200X Sorceress:
(Make her ascended Teela or something.) I like the 200X Sorceress, especially in vintage colors, and while yes, I will make Princess Sunbutt jokes with her, it's not THE reason I want her. I think her design is cool...
Despara:
It's the only GOOD thing to come from the NU52 MOTU... (Yes, I've said that the comic is getting better SLOWLY) but if we can only have 1 SINGLE ITEM FROM NU52 in MOTUC, I choose Despara... (Force Captain Adora looking more like a member of the Horde)
Battle Armor Marlena:
While this is a 200X Variant of Marlena, I could accept the Filmation head on her for consistency's sake. Astronaut Marlena looks a bit silly and I need a Marlena to put with the BA Randor since My Marlena is with Filmation Randor.
Snake Mekaneck:
For the same reasons that I wanted Snake Man-At-Arms... To make a 200X Mekaneck.
200X Adam and Teela:
I know that the Teen Bucks are a big no-no to Mattel right now. On the other hand, Teela is highly desired and the Mint-on-Card Collectors need a Single Carded Adam. I know that an "Adult Body" Adam defeats the whole Teen Adam thing, but we pretty much have all the pieces needed to make him.
We only need a new Jacket and maybe a head.
Teela on the other hand gives us a shot at a Teela on the 2.0 body. (The head with the Longer Ponytail is a sweet bonus!)
There are some variants that I may be missing like Movie versions of the characters which are unavailable, or some like Pre-Anchors Aloft Sea Hawk, that while cool would be a bit unnecessary. Other variants, I simply don't give a damn about like Smash Blade He-Man.

Smaller Playsets that could work in MOTUC
Grayskull is coming and I'm skipping it... (Logistics) but all signs seem to point that it'll be THE ONLY Playset we'll get. No Snake Mtn. No Frightzone, no Starship Eternia, no Nordor, etc.
But there's a few "Playsets" that Mattel COULD get away with or at least as Diorama Pieces.
Slime Pit:
The Evil Horde's secret weapon for Universal Domination... If you look at it it's slightly Taller than a normal mailer... I'd say about as tall as the length of a 2 pack mailer (when assembled, theoretically speaking) Maybe half a normal Mailer Deep and in theory it SHOULD be cheaper than Castle Grayskull to make. It's pretty much 2 Sheets of plastic turned into the back and floor (not sure if they are Thermo-molded or injection molded...)
and 3 extra pieces for the claw and Dino head. Any extras like sculpted slime drippings in Glow in the Dark plastic are welcome but not Mandatory. In theory this should be inexpensive to make. Not only it's an evil playset that Many want, but Mattel could make it quite easily in comparison to Snake Mountain, who'd require a lot more resources and the Horsemen's time... Personally I wouldn't be surprised if the Horsemen already have figured out how to make one... Or have sculpted one just for kicks and to kill some time.
Whispering Woods:
This will be the only Princess of Power Representative here. Mostly because none of the Crystal Castles could be made justice in a smaller scale (Though a Light Hope chamber diorama could work)
but The Whispering Woods seems small enough to work.
Do you remember the Kenner Endor Playset, or it's reuse as Sherwood forest? Well, something along those lines. Maybe it should come with pieces to make2-4 Trees,(either 4 Medium Trees about 1.5 figures tall or 2 Trees taller than Tytus... the big blue Trees with the candy cane pattern on their bark/) a pair of shrubs. (Maybe with a "secret compartment" for Loo-Kee), a clear stand that plugs on the trees for Kowl. Then you could "Army build" and make a bigger forest. If Mattel plays it smart enough, they could make "Whispering Woods Stands" to further expand the concept. Toss in some Twiggets (who'd very likely end up as nearly statue figurines) to the mix and watch the POP fans eat it up!
Eternos Palace Courtyard:
Yes, I did mention how you could make one in the Baking Goods Stores can give you Diorama Pieces Rant but a custom made item will never be an official one. We have an Eternos Palace King Randor, so getting the Eternos Palace in MOTU seems like a priority... (After Snake Mountain, Fright Zone, and all the other Playsets that had a toy previously, which include the NA and POP Playsets) Since the King and Queen cannot set their butts on the thrones, the Throne Room is out of the question. Not to mention that half of everything that happens on Eternos tends to happen at the courtyard.
I know this list is small, but there isn't THAT many small playsets that they could do. Out of these, the only one I see that MAY have a Glimmer of Hope is the Slime Pit... Mattel wastes resources on stupid-ass stands that don't work that could be better used for actual dioramas... err... playsets...
But there's a few "Playsets" that Mattel COULD get away with or at least as Diorama Pieces.

ML is dying and here's the list of figures I wish they had made: (but ain't gonna happen)
Marvel Legends is dying and most likely going through a rebranding.
We got a Jim Lee Jean, but no Jubilee from that era... D'oh! And BTW this list starts with Jim Lee Jubilee.
OK, so Jubilee:
She's a walking fireworks display (voiced by Claire Redfield's VA) who was Kitty Pryde's replacement. the 90s look is pretty much her iconic look: Pink Shirt short jeans, Yellow raincoat, blue boots...
Then again, we can blame this for the Wanting a Jubilee figure:
Firestar:
Hey! I have her in Marvel Universe!! And yes I want the Yellow Firestar as seen in Spider-Man and His Amazing Spider-Friends... Not the 90s Maximum Carnage Look...
Clone Saga Kaine:
What? We have Spider-Ben... It's fair that the Brother of Dark (that is not Spider-Cide)gets made... Heck, Kaine made a comeback recently... So celebrating his earlier appearance isn't that crazy... this list is so 90s...
Spider-Girl:
That's pretty much it... Then again there's the "civilian versions" of multiple characters, but variants bad... mmkay! Or a corrected Morbius without the soft rubber face, Cloak & Dagger, Big Wheel, Aunt May, a Fixed Scarlet Witch, Dazzler (disco suit), a 90s Rogue that didn't fall down and hit all the branches of the UGLY TREE, a First appearance X-Men set (with Snowy Iceman), Alistair Smythe, Lady Ock, Hammerhead... The list can go on and on...
Yes most of my wants tend to gravitate towards Spidey, I've noticed.

Cause the Maximum Carnage stuff goes on another section of the list.
Maximum Carnage 2-pack:
OK, so we've had a few Carnages, one upcoming in the Spidey 2 wave, but zilch on shriek or Doppelganger... Which are the two Maximum Carnage badguys that we need...
Clone Saga Kaine:
What? We have Spider-Ben... It's fair that the Brother of Dark (that is not Spider-Cide)gets made... Heck, Kaine made a comeback recently... So celebrating his earlier appearance isn't that crazy... this list is so 90s...
Power Pack:
Cause why the heck not? I mean, it's not like I've been mentioning the Power Pack since the infancy of this blog... Looking back, part of me wanted that to happen... and I wanted a set of PP kids so Franklin wouldn't be all alone... Seriously, the only PP representative in ML is Franklin Richards.
Spider-Girl:
Back to the 90s loose ends, but Spider-girl was the best thing out of the Clone Saga...
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility 2 pack:
This would be the most controversial set I'll mention: Uncle Ben and The Burglar... The two people that Molded Peter Parker's life into what he became before that Douchenozzle Quesada ruined it.
Shuma-Gorath:
Yeah, this is to complete the MARVEL SUPERHEROES! roster and to give Doctor Strange a villain... No Dormammu or Baron Mordo in ML, well Shuma Gorath would be perfect, not to mention that it screams BAF!!Yes most of my wants tend to gravitate towards Spidey, I've noticed.

The Little Guys... of MOTU
So, in the next few weeks (if Matty/digital River didn't mess up my shipping info) I'll be getting the 4th Weapons pack (5th if we count the Rack as a Weapons pack) with more Cartoon Kowl... We already got Orko and Cringer... Madame Razz, Gwildor and Depowered Marzo do not count here since they would have to be larger and more articulated. By Little guys I mean Orko or Kowl sized folks... That are NOT The Energy Zoids... (Rotar and Twistoid)
Well here's a list of my TOP Wants in the Little guys Department: (in no particular Order)
Yes, I mentioned three characters in one spot, due to the reuse of the ORKO buck... We've been waiting for these guys since Orko was released... OK, it was when the Filmation rights were announced that the possibility of getting them felt more real. I'm going to tackle each one individually in order to describe what I'd do to make them POP and be slightly more different than Orko...
The Oracle: Same buck as Orko, including the arms and hands. The Paint can take care of the golden trim that Oracle has on his sleeves. The new pieces are: The Long parts of his tunic and hooded head. Maybe as an extra accessory a Pimping Medallion... That way by Mixing and Matching with the vintage styled Orko, I can have a 200X Orko.
It's a Win-Win for MOTUC fans because we get a new character AND we can tweak an older figure if we desire.
Dree-Elle is a toughie... Well that is if you want a Dree-Elle with breasts... Yes, she HAS breasts...
Well here's a list of my TOP Wants in the Little guys Department: (in no particular Order)
Basically Stinkor pre-Stinkor... The precedent of Keldor, Kronis, Captain Glenn, Young Dekker, Young Duncan, etc. is the main reason for asking for Odiphus... From a Sculpting point of view, he COULD be Classicized using the Kowl buck. (Had the Horsemen been allowed to make a more articulated Kowl body, then we could have swapped pieces to get an even MORE Accurate Odiphus. As you can see a picture from the MOTUC Kowl and the Odiphus staction, their bodies are similar... We can chalk up some differences to the Classicizer Machine explanation. Then again, Stinkor WAS a Repainted Merman, so a Kowl repaint with a new head for Odiphus isn't THAT far-fetched...
Dree-Elle, Montork and the Oracle:
Yes, I mentioned three characters in one spot, due to the reuse of the ORKO buck... We've been waiting for these guys since Orko was released... OK, it was when the Filmation rights were announced that the possibility of getting them felt more real. I'm going to tackle each one individually in order to describe what I'd do to make them POP and be slightly more different than Orko...The Oracle: Same buck as Orko, including the arms and hands.
They are mostly unnoticeable, but in some instances the outline can be seen on the cartoon.
Honestly, I don't mind if they reuse the normal Orko buck with a new head. Perhaps different hands for her would make her POP...
But if the Horsemen feel like doing a female Trollan buck, I would not complain about it.
Montork is a piece of cake. New Head with the Glasses and a New Neckpiece with the beard. He's so easy that I would have made a custom out of him if I had a second Orko.
Next on our List is none other than Loo-Kee: the Judgmental Squirrel

Well, we saw the Mattel Prototype, so we should believe that He is coming and will judge us, since he's a Judgmental Squirrel. Seriously, he hides around and when you find him, he's going to be preaching down values and morals on you... Cause that's what he does best!
No wonder kids rarely bothered to find him...
All jokes aside, Loo-Kee IS an important character. Not only he was on every Episode of She-Ra: Princess of Power, he was the one delivering the morals of the Episode... and as much as I may be poking fun at the whole Morals thing here, I respect and I'm thankful for the show having them. It's just that the Morals with Loo-Kee didn't work as well as having the actual characters discussing what they learned.
This one is all new tooling. The Horsemen already sculpted him... Wonder if it was just for fun in their free time like they did the Battle Ram...

So Speaking of Princess of Power Small People, I know I'm forgetting one... The Big one... and no it's not Filmation Kowl, which I'd totally want, but the OTHER Princess or Power Small guy... No, it's not Red-Eye either... Who I'd also want cause it's an EVIL KOWL... Let me make it clear, the character I'm speaking of DOES NOT USE the KOWL BUCK!!

I'm talking about the Evil Horde's very own IMP!!
Yes, we have the little Red Horde Gargoyle/Hordak Hybrid thing, but that's simply NOT IMP!!
Then again, the Cardback of the Vintage Hordak toy calls that little Red Horde Gargoyle/Hordak Hybrid thing a "Bat Shield". So we do not have Imp! He would be very awesome to have in classics. I mean, him and Entrapta complete the Filmation Horde... (Not counting the one-shot people like Darkney, Admiral Scurvy, the Horde Inspector, Colonel Blast, or MODOK... I mean Dylamug.)
I'd Mention the Robots form New Adventures U.R. and Gleep, but I'm afraid NA isn't as popular.
The Twiggets are not on this list cause Dammit! I demand fully Articulated Twiggets!!
