Making Kenner Styled Sulverhawks: Good idea or bad idea?

What do you think? I have my doubts. We aren't getting vac metal due to the plastics used on the figures. Soft goods wings are a possibility. Personally I'm not a fan of that idea. The question is how can Super 7 make worthwhile Kenner styled silverhawks variants?

The answer is more complicated than I thought. I've tried to figure this out before. I'm trying again, because I just picked up Quicksilver from the post office. Review will be coming soon, so don't fret. I will be using Quicksilver ass the example, because I just got him and I've been tinkering with him for some time.

I don't see Super7 painting a faux chrome finish
Obviously not mine.
But I can see them slightly changing the colors of the molded plastic to something closer to the Kenner colors.
For Quicksilver, I can see the standard figure being reused. It would lose the masked head but it would get the Silver Hawks Insignia tampographed on his chest. He would lose the wrist controller for Tallyhawk. He would lose the laser effects and the two versions of Tallyhawk. Instead he would get a new Tallyhawk based on the vintage toy.

A new "crappier" Tallyhawk plus LESS Accessories than the previous release, a better figure does not make, especially if it will cost higher than the $55 cost of the original Quicksilver. This cost will be more outrageous when we get to smaller characters like Copper Kidd, who at $55 he feels like a rip off.

Bluegrass loses a lot more for a new hat and a new Sideman guitar/bird companion.

But let's look beyond the hawks and head to the mob...
Mon*Star loses most of his accessories for a new Sky Shadow and 2 new heads. (A weird less spiky transformed head and a pre transformation head that looks more like Marvel's Patch than it does Mon*Star.)

Windhammer would be essentially the same figure with a new tuning fork and less accessories. That's not exactly a good thing.

At least with Buzz-saw we get a complete repaint.

The only Kenner styled Figures that COULD HAVE POTENTIAL are figures like:
Ultrasonic Suit Bluegrass, Ultrasonic suit Quicksilver, Ultrasonic Suit Copper Kidd, Ultrasonic suit Steelwill, Ultrasonic suit Mon*Star (which would be a rerelease of untransformed Mon*Star woth less accessories and a modified Neutrona Wand... yes, the unreleased Mon*Star had a Ghostbusters accessory because Kenner was lazy. Steelheart got shafted in this Ultrasonic suit business, so super7 gets to make their own Ultrasonic Suit Steelheart.

Then again, Kenner variants are a smidge better than Glow in the Dark variants.
