Toon variants and Super7: another rant

Assuming the Playmates blockade is real, revisiting figures "could be problematic" so here's where the "Toon variants" can pop in:

Before I go on, NOT EVERY FIGURE NEEDS a Toon Variant. This is mostly for The Turtles, splinter, April, Rocksteady, and Bebop. This could also "spawn new characters" that may or may have not gotten toys before.
Also, while the figures would be called "Toon (insert character name here)" the accessories might be references from Other Media and not specific to the 1987 toon. I must warn that 100% Toon Accuracy won't be the goal. Think something more like The Classicizer machine and MOTUC and not like Club Grayskull.
Toon April:
New heads, torso, and crotch on the existing April to make her more "toon accurate". Include the previous "toon inspired" head as an extra.
For accessories, the tripod, the UC Raph camera that plugs into the tripod, microphone, press pass, both forms of the turtle communicator, extra hands, and 3 secret accessories:
One of the extra heads should be inspired by this:
The secret accessories are:
2 Robot left hands, and 1 "Terminator" head based on the Android April from TMHT Adventures by Fleetway. That way if you have OG April, you can have this one as the Android.

Toon Turtles:
I'm tackling all 4 in one fell swoop:
First I'll tackle what they share, then the individual stuff.
All turtles would have the toon colors that includes painted pupils in their eyes.
New Toon based belts, peghole on feet,
New Toon based Cheapskate (they're way smaller than the toy based version)
I would say about the size of Mondo Gecko's board. We'd just have to snap in the small fan as seen on the pic above.
To that, I'd add the normal extra hands including the pointing hand, 2x Turtle Communicator, extra head, the signature weapon(s) BTW, mike's nunchucks are only with real chain. The grappling hook uses twine.

Extra heads:
Leo: extra Closed eyes head from rocker Leo.
Don: new serious head.
Raph:new open mouth taunting head.
Mike: Tongue head from Sewer Surfer Mike.

Secret accessories:
Leo: LCD Game based on the Konami TMNT LCD game (that stars Leonardo ad the only playable turtle)
Don: BOMB from TMNT NES
Raph: pizza slice with hole for sai, almost whole pizza on tray.
Mike: meatball Pizza (reference to the Pizza Monster eggs)

Toon Splinter:
New Toon accurate heads, sleeved kimono, his cane, bow, arrows, quiver, Martial Arts scrolls,  and boomerangs (TMNT NES), teacup with tea, and Sushi tray.
Secret accessories:
Empty ooze cannister, Renaissance Art Book

Toon Shredder:
New heads, new torso, new crotch, new blade armor, new hands, new Evil Communicator, Katana.
The new armor and hands are meant to be toon accurate and his torso Toon/Mirage accurate when painted properly. (Gotta have possibility of redecos)
For the heads, Normal head, Eye of Sarnath head, and one without his mouthguard. (Full Oroku Saki head should be saved for the Oroku Saki figure)
Secret Accessories: Small Ooze vial, Thermite Grenade.

Toon Rocksteady:
New toon based head without helmet, alt toy head in toon colors, bandolier with removable wooden sword. Standard Rocksteady accessories, and evil communicator.
Secret accessory: Speargun from TMNT3 Manhattan Project.

Toon Bebop:
New Toon based head, alt toy head in toon colors, new bandolier, Triceraton blaster, Bebop's standard accessories, evil communicator.
Secret accessory: head with ball and chain based on Manhattan Project.

Toon Foot Soldier:
Redeco in toon colors, same weapons as vintage and the ninja rack weapons from Shredder, alt. Head with yellow Foot insignia.
Secret accessories:
Image is self explanatory.

Of course, this small list only touched the "toon versions" of previous figures.
I mentioned "new characters" and for that I could say Human Baxter Stockman could qualify as a "new character" that is a "toon variant" of an existing figure. Also, the Channel 6 crew can get made via the "toon variant" but to differentiate themselves from Playmates, cartoon accuracy is where it's at. I won't go too deep, since I've discussed these.

The Toon and Videogames might be the loophole we need to get some Playmates figures without being fully Playmates styled Thank goodness for Cowabunga Collection and Shredder's Revenge.

With Tokka and Rahzar they could look like the toon versions or the TMNT TiT versions and add accessories from the movie AND TMNT TiT. I wonder if Hyperstone heist might be the key for Super7 to surpass NECA.
I know that Tatsu was not a Toon Character, but the games are based on Toon continuity and he looks different from Toshishiro Obata's take on Tatsu... hell my Tomoshiro Ishii based custom is closer to Movie Tatsu than this game version, which could be considered the 1987 cartoon version of him... let me save this for another rant.

I keep coming back to this because the possibility of the Embargo being real and many fans are not too fond of 100% brand new variants. So by taking reference on vintage material, maybe we can reach a compromise to get SOMETHING. For starters No insane variants, but canonical variants. In any case we'll have to wait and see until wave 11's announcement. If we're lucky Nickelodeon might lower their stance a bit and we can all win, but in worst case scenario, this could be a reasonable solution.
