The wild Hunt is basically an excuse to Showcase King Grayskull's might. Not to mention all the references: Wun-Dar, Vikor, Kodok Ungol... there were a few others that I couldn't ID. Meanwhile, Andra, Roboto, and He-Ro we're working on reforging the swords. Mossman and King Grayskull give Adam some advice... Adam ignores the advice and after Roboto dies, Adam leaves essentially MOTU Valhalla and returns home. Before everything changes.
Adam returns and summons the power just to be penetrated from behind by a Jedi Master.

Skeletor summons the power and becomes an overpriced Target exclusive. The end... of part one.
There's a lot to digest here: Adam is severely wounded and out of action. Skeletor has the sword. The show is basically a Teela show... If it sucked like Noelle Stevenson's bastardization of She-Ra it would be easy to hate on it... but I can't, because there are PLENTY of Good or Great things. There are a few things that I'd consider questionable, but there isn't anything TRULY BAD OR AWFUL for me to mock viciously... aside Buffy being miscast. I better sleep on it and rewatch for second thoughts.
