Super Smash Bros. Missed opportunities

With SSBU having a lot of guest characters, I feel like they missed some opportunities to have certain guests. We have a Mishima, but no Waluigi?

But there a few characters that could've,  no, SHOULD'VE graced Smash before a Tekken dude.

Crash Bandicoot
The former SONY Mascot turned into a generic multi-platform game... kinda like a certain Blue Hedgehog that gotta go fast.

Mike Jones
I had to sneak in Nintendo's forgotten series Startropics. He'd be kinda like a Link/Ness hybrid. Also, a ST Cave remix would be awesome.

Kunio-kun
Classic character from Technos's River City Ransom... and other games. Sure Kunio-kun originated in Arcades, but got ports on the Famicom and NES.

Ryu Hayabusa
Ninja Gaiden started as an Arcade game, but is better remembered as the nightmarish NES Trilogy. It put Tecmo on the map long before the bouncy titties of Dead or Alive.

Billy and Jimmy Lee
4 months before Ryu and Ken graced the arcade, the Lee brothers had the palette swapped clone experience with Double Dragon.

Bomberman
I think Konami are the current owners of Bomberman. So, his inclusion should be easy since Konami and Nintendo have a good relationship. Not to mention that Bomberman had quite a few games on the SFC/SNES

Ryuuichi Naruhodo
The Star of Capcom's visual novel series on the GBA and NDS Gyakuten Saiban deserves a spot. His moveset could be similar to his  Marvel vs Capcom 3 version.

Arthur
Ghosts and Ghouls series has a few games on Nintendo's consoles. Therefore, he could've benefitted from entering Smash.

Bob and Bub
Taito's popular characters from Bubble Bobble and the Puzzle Bobble games. I just want them to have this remixed.

Rad Spencer
I picked him over Strider because the bionic arm mechanic seems much better than Striders sword and summoning animal abilities.

Foreman Spike
A somewhat obscure Mario enemy. He hails from the game Wrecking Crew and apparently he has enough of a following that people have been requesting him for years. Also isn't he like a Proto-Wario

King Hippo
Little Mac needs an opponent and Hippo is Iconic enough. And I have asked for King Hippo before so oh, I had to add him.

Eggplant Wizard
An enemy of the Original Kid Icarus game... I do have an ulterior motive to add him.

Waluigi
I mentioned him already, but it wasn't "an official mention". So here he is.

Geno
Now that Square Enix has dropped Final Fantasy people in Smash, asking for Super Mario RPGs best character makes sense. Maybe have Mallow as an assist trophy.

Tatanga
Super Mario Land's final boss could be inspired by Bowser Jr's moveset.

Liquid Snake
Solid Snake is all alone. Liquid beingnhis echo is a nice tongue in cheek reference to MGS.

That's  all I can think of. Sure, I could've suggested Bass, Protoman, or Zero as Capcom contenders, or The Contra dudes, but I'm trying to not rely too much on "gunner types" and didn't want to overload it with Mega Man stuff.
Most of my choices, aside Crash have had some heavy ties to Nintendo. Sadly, the rules state that all characters MUST have a Videogame origin, otherwise, I would've added:
Captain N the Game Master... though I swear it kinda sounds like it says the Gay Master... no, it's not a jab against gay people.

Also, the must be videogame character in origin blocks certain iconic games that deserve some tribute like Brosnan's Bond, the TMNT, Jason Voorhees, DCAU Superman(64), Scrooge McDuck, Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse are a few characters that come to mind. But seriously, Captain N though...
